Service: Attentive, meticulous, and thoughtful. Welcome fruits: Good quality fruits, and all snacks are from Sam's Club. If you're visiting Qingcheng Mountain, I highly recommend Hegu Shanju at the foot of the mountain. Every detail here is wonderfully thoughtful and comforting. While its elegant environment is its least remarkable advantage, the service and various wellness programs are its true highlights! The fatigue from a day of hiking was completely cured by the sound therapy session before bed and the private hot spring in the room. The next day, I wanted to try the incense ceremony class, but the teacher wasn't available. I was a bit disappointed, but a staff member specially found the butler to arrange an incense ceremony experience for us. This unexpected warmth left a lasting impression! The little one made a fruit shell wind chime at the handicraft workshop, my mom practiced Baduanjin with the instructor, and the three of us even painted mandalas to pass the time. Everyone, young and old, had their own fun. It's rare to find a guesthouse that excels in environment, dining, and unique experiences, with the owner's thoughtfulness evident in every corner. I hope this wonderful place remains for a long time; I will definitely return to this mountain retreat on my next trip to Chengdu.

The location is excellent, especially waking up to a view of lush greenery from bed. I have to particularly highlight their Chinese food, which was delicious. We ate three dinners in the ancient town. Our first was here. For our second, my husband insisted on trying a highly-rated place he found online, but... not a single dish was good. So, for our third dinner, we came back here. We had the cured meat platter three times, it was especially good here, and the 'fish擺擺' (a local fish dish) was also tasty. We just didn't get around to trying the hot pot, so we'll have to come back for that next time. **Facilities:** Pretty good, with smart toilets and a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. **Hygiene:** Considered quite good for a guesthouse. **Environment:** The location is superb, and the atmosphere both upstairs and downstairs is great. Kids can play in the small river, and if adults don't want to be in the sun, they can have tea at the bar on the ground floor. Sitting at the bar in the evening is very pleasant, and the prices are reasonable. **Service:** Excellent! The owner contacted us in advance. When we arrived, someone specially helped park our car, and when it was time to leave, we just let them know and they brought the car back out. It's perfect for lazy people, haha, no need to walk far for parking or be out in the sun.

The hotel's scenery is exceptionally beautiful, with a Chinese-inspired design and blessings extended to every guest. The courtyard is adorned with crape myrtle, pomegranates, and magnolia flowers, creating a sense of abundant beauty and prosperity. Flower-lined paths lead to picturesque spots, making every step a delight, and allowing one to forget all worries and simply immerse in the moment. The public hot springs are spacious, available both indoors and outdoors. The rooms are private villas, some with their own hot spring baths, and the温泉 water is natural radon spring water. The front desk managers, Helen and Li Yilin, were very attentive. I would definitely choose Fairmont Chengdu Hot Springs again if I have the chance; it must be even more beautiful in the autumn. This was a wonderful trip.

The room was very tidy; it's a shame I didn't get any photos because my little one immediately ran to the tent ⛺️. There's a buffet breakfast every morning, which I think ends before 10 AM – not very friendly for late risers like me! 🥳 There's also afternoon tea 🫖 every day. (Just a side note: since our child is quite young, we had both lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant every day), and the food was really delicious. There's also a play area for children on the first floor, and you can even get game tokens from the front desk! (Our child was too young, so mom and dad played for him). On the day we checked in, the lady at the front desk gave our baby a mosquito repellent bracelet, which we absolutely loved. All I can say is: we'll meet again soon! (literally: 'Mountains and rivers will meet, we'll see each other again.')

From the moment we drove in, the hotel exuded an elegant vibe, with slender bamboo lining the pathway. Surrounded by lush green mountains, the hotel felt wonderfully cool. The observation decks (yes, more than one!) were excellent, and I particularly loved the hammocks. The entire hotel area was tastefully decorated and immaculately maintained, with no overly dense greenery. They even provided bed rails, which was a huge plus for me traveling with a child, and the front desk offered crafts for kids. The only minor drawback was that our room's air conditioner would drip when on, but I wasn't too bothered by it. Overall, considering the price and the hotel's ambiance, I give it full marks. I'm already planning a return visit when I have the chance!

The Xishang Hotel offers an amazing experience with attentive and prompt butler service. The food is made with fresh local ingredients and tastes authentic and delicious. The private hot spring is secluded and quiet, and the environment is tranquil and a great escape from the summer heat. Overall, the stay was very comfortable and I highly recommend it.

Very warm, friendly, and helpful reception. Room is extremely spacious. Thanks to a complimentary upgrade, we’ve enjoyed the private hot spring (tub). The host also helped us with booking of tickets to Panda Valley. We left our luggage to visit Qingcheng Shan, and when we returned to pick them up before heading to Chengdu, we were gifted oranges and water for the ride. Breakfast is very food - the widest spread of selection amongst the many hotels and guesthouses we have stayed in Sichuan. A good base to explore Qingcheng. Highly recommended.

Located between the front and back peaks of Qingcheng Mountain. This summer has been incredibly hot. Aside from the heat, there aren't any major issues. The chirping of cicadas fills the air from morning to night. The rooftop view is truly relaxing, far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. It's a tranquil retreat.

The hotel environment is very nice, the room facilities are good, and the staff are very attentive and warm. The only downside is the location is a bit out of the way. Driving is fine, but there's a flight of stairs to the lobby from where you park, which can be inconvenient with luggage. However, the staff will help you with that once they realize it. It would be great if there were luggage carts available.

The room was good, and I ended up changing rooms after I arrived. Originally, the price difference between the two rooms was only about ten yuan, so I asked the front desk to upgrade me, but they said they couldn't and told me to cancel and re-book. I hadn't even paid yet, and then the next person who came got an upgraded room type 😂😂😂. I don't know why they couldn't upgrade me, it was only a few bucks, but oh well. However, they did give me a one-hour late checkout the next day, which allowed us to finish our meal peacefully, and I'm very grateful for that. I'll definitely stay here again next time.
