Hotels with Bars in Chengdu

What a wonderful place! Tucked away in the back makes it quiet and serene, while still being at the center of the traditional Wenshu Monastary area. Perfect for all sorts of travelers, i was a solo female and stayed in the dorms with other friendly guests. Lovely inner courtyard with a cafe for relaxing and drinking tea. The staff are all so friendly and ready to give you all the tips on what to do in Chengdu. They speak perfect English as well! There are a lot of regular visitors, since people keep wanting to come back. The rooms are cleaned everyday and beds are made, with fresh towels provided. Everyday felt like I had just checked in, brand new. Breakfast has a range of western (toast, eggs, bacon, yogurt, cereal) or chinese (rice, wontons, fried pancakes..) and fresh fruit that changes from day to day. All ranges of coffee and tea as well. It filled me up well to start my day walking around the city! Definitely recommend to anyone, and I will be staying here next time I visit! Thank you :)

The high floor offers fantastic views, and everything in this new hotel feels fresh. The shower has great water pressure and is very comfortable. The housekeeping staff does an excellent job; I always return to a clean and tidy room. Lucky the dog is very well-behaved and cute. The pan-fried buns at breakfast are delicious, clearly made fresh. The beef noodles are even better than my last visit. The egg tarts and croissants at breakfast are superb; unlike some other hotels where the small pastries are greasy and soft, Hyatt's are excellent and tasty, probably freshly baked. I've stayed at several five-star hotels recently, and this one is my favorite, not to mention it has the lowest price, offering incredible value for money. The location is also perfect, right next to the subway entrance. Taxis in Chengdu are a nightmare with all the traffic, so the location truly can't be beaten. The only downside is that even though the hotel has been open for a while, there's still a lingering smell in the hallways and rooms. A air purifier is a must for your stay, and with it, the room is basically odorless. The hallway isn't too big of a deal since you only pass through it quickly when taking the elevator.

The coziest of hotels located very well within Chengdu. We had the pleasure of receiving the most wonderful service, as well as tips and recommendations from Arnold and the rest of the lovely staff at Grey Parrot. Without all of this, our trip to Chengdu would not have been nearly as nice. Thank you so much!🤠 The café/bar adjacent to the hotel serves great coffee, drinks and cake! And we also got the loveliest little farewell gifts. If you are ever in Chengdu, you should really consider staying at Grey Parrot.🐼

The hotel is not far from Huashuiwan Hot Spring Town, built by the roadside, making parking convenient with a dedicated underground parking garage. There are two accommodation buildings. The price is a bit high, but the environment is quite good, though there's not much to explore in the surrounding area. The room was spacious, although the walls were a bit dirty. The hot springs are great, with about 10 pools built along the river, plus a sauna room. There's also an outdoor swimming pool. Overall, the facilities are complete. Breakfast was very rich with a wide variety of options. The jam tasted homemade, which was a pleasant surprise – they even provided a butter knife, which many larger hotels don't! It would be a pretty good deal if the price were under 500.

The room is cozy! Toilet is clean and the shower pressure is strong. They provide alcohol wipe, ear plugs and even ensure that the room is sanitised (there’s a card beside the bed). You can still hear some noise from the corridor but the earplugs help. The hairdryer is from laifen. Location wise it’s just a short walk from exit F (stairs only at this exit though) of Chengdu Second People's Hospital Metro Station (line 4 & 3. It’s an interchange station so you get more options for your train travel which is a big plus). Walkable distance to chunxi road and there’s even 2 small supermarkets just 1-2 mins walk opposite the hotel. The washing machine and dryer works well and there’s laundry detergent provided too

Stayed at Bliss Qintai ******* Boutique Hotel and it was a unique and memorable stay in Chengdu. The design of the hotel really stands out, with Tibetan-inspired interiors that give it a very distinct character compared to standard hotels. It feels warm, artistic, and different in a good way. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, with enough space to relax after a long day of exploring. The overall atmosphere of the property is calm and cozy. Location-wise, it’s convenient for getting around the city, with easy access to nearby attractions and local areas. The staff were polite and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth. If you want a stay that feels a bit more special and culturally inspired rather than just functional, this is a great option. My stay at The Ritz-Carlton Chengdu was just acceptable overall. The location is fantastic, close to Chunxi Road, and the room was clean and comfortable. The 24-hour gym was convenient for me. However, the service felt inconsistent. Some requests took longer to handle than expected, and the breakfast selection was underwhelming for a luxury hotel of this standard. The pre-authorisation deposit refund process was also slower than I anticipated. It was a fine stay, but the experience didn’t quite live up to Ritz-Carlton’s premium pricing and brand reputation. I might consider other options next time I visit Chengdu.

We stayed at Qixi Guest House in Dayi, Sichuan with our two kids and chose the River View Loft Room — and it was such a lovely experience. The room was very clean and comfortable. Our kids absolutely loved it because they had their own space in the loft area. There were plush toys and books prepared for them, which made it even more special. The loft area also had a warmer, so it stayed cozy and comfortable. The owner is very kind, and the place is managed by two elderly ladies who are incredibly sweet — they reminded us of our own grandmothers. They were so warm, caring, and genuinely helpful. They even helped us book taxis because it can be quite difficult to get a Didi in this area. There are no halal restaurants nearby, so it’s best to bring ready-to-eat food from home. However, they knew we are Muslim and thoughtfully prepared halal-friendly breakfast for us — noodles, fried eggs, vegetables, buns, candy, nuts, and boxed milk. We truly appreciated their effort. Downstairs, there is a shared kitchen area that guests can use. It’s well-equipped with utensils, a microwave, hot water dispenser (similar to Coway), and basic kitchen facilities — very convenient for families. The only downside is that there is no lift. The building has three levels. We stayed on Level 2 (just one flight of stairs up from the ground floor), so it was manageable, but carrying heavy luggage could be challenging. When we checked out, the owner even gave us a small gift bag with a keychain and fridge magnet — such a sweet gesture. From the guesthouse, it takes only about 20 minutes by Didi to reach Xiling Snow Mountain. Just make sure to book your ride 20–30 minutes earlier because it can be hard to get a car in this area. There are small shops nearby if you need drinks or basic items, but by around 9:40 pm, most places close and the area becomes very quiet. The river view from our room was absolutely beautiful. The guesthouse is located at the foothill area with charming ancient China village vibes — peaceful and scenic. The hospitality was truly heartfelt. We also noticed many Malay guests have stayed here before, so they are familiar with preparing Muslim-friendly meals. Overall, we had a very warm and memorable stay. Highly recommended for families visiting Xiling Snow Mountain.

Although the room decor was a bit dated, the service was excellent. A butler contacted me in advance and added me on WeChat, and they even gave me a free upgrade. The room faced Tianfu Square directly, offering a great view. Overall, the hotel's service was very good. My only minor regret was that the afternoon tea pastries were limited and there was no coffee. I mainly chose the Celebrity Hotel because it has a swimming pool, but it seems to be outsourced. Every time I went, the staff would tell hotel guests it was crowded, though it wasn't actually that busy. The water quality wasn't great either; it was a bit cloudy. One evening after swimming, I noticed someone live-streaming towards the pool, which isn't very considerate of guest privacy. If the Celebrity Hotel genuinely wants to improve its service quality, I suggest they take back direct management of the pool.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hard 5/5! As a girl travelling solo for the first time, I felt very safe staying and had a lot of fun. Even though it’s a hostel, the environment was comfortable and welcoming. One thing I really appreciated was the international power outlets, which was a huge plus for me. The hostel also offers transportation services to certain attractions and activities, making it very convenient for travellers. The location is excellent — being right next to Chunxi Road meant I could easily explore the city, try local food, and enjoy the area on foot. A special shoutout to the front desk staff, who were incredibly friendly and always happy to recommend places to visit. Their English was excellent as well, which made communication very easy. I would highly recommend this hostel to international travellers. If I visit Chengdu again, I would definitely choose to stay here again! ❤️✨
