"We had a wonderful stay! The location is excellent and central located, the service was fantastic. The staff were very helpful and made a great effort to communicate with us in English. The apartment was clean, and it was well-stocked with fresh towels and all necessary amenities every day. The washing machine worked perfectly as well. The space was ideal for our group of four, offering plenty of room and enough bathrooms for everyone. We were very happy with our experience and would definitely stay here again."

GGuest UserMy stay here was excellent. The hotel has a quiet and elegant atmosphere, which I really appreciated. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was very comfortable. The front desk staff, especially the young lady with the panda pin and another named Liu Fenbao, were incredibly warm and polite, making check-in very efficient. The surrounding area is peaceful yet convenient for getting around. Overall, I had a comfortable and relaxing stay, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Chengdu.

GGuest UserFacilities: The bathtub is a nice touch, and the overall ambiance is good. The floor-to-ceiling windows are a huge plus. Food deliveries are handled by a robot that brings them directly to your room, which my kids loved. On the downside, the TV is a bit small, can't cast, and some channels aren't available.
Cleanliness: Spot on. My only minor quibble is that they insist on placing a glass and water by the bed every day, which feels unnecessary.
Environment: The hotel's environment is generally excellent, especially the high-rise city views.
Service:
Before check-in, the butler proactively asked about my preferences and pillow choices, which was thoughtful. They arranged complimentary refreshments in the mini-fridge and a fruit platter upon arrival. Any issues I had during my stay were promptly addressed. What really impressed me was when I forgot something after checking out; although I didn't need it sent back in the end, it seemed like they would have shipped it for free, which was fantastic. My only complaint is the constant requests for reviews; it felt like they were under a lot of pressure to meet targets.
The travel photography service was excellent. The makeup artist was very attentive and even helped with my baby's hair and clothes. The photographer was also very patient. Happy baby, happy mom!

The exterior views were also beautiful. The cleanliness and room conditions were up to Marriott's usual high standards. The executive lounge's happy hour service was also good. The only minor complaint would be the breakfast seating arrangement, which could be better coordinated.

Perched on the hillside, it boasts huge floor-to-ceiling windows that perfectly frame the mountain views, and the room temperature was just right. The private hot spring bath was spacious with a rich mineral scent, and all the facilities felt brand new. Coming here to unwind on a weekend was pure bliss. The staff were all lovely too – always smiling, friendly, and quick to greet you. The afternoon tea and goodnight drinks were a nice touch. It's off-season now, so it's quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxation. They even gave us a thoughtful parting gift, which was a nice touch.

GGuest UserA rare artistic designer hotel in Chengdu, this three-story standalone building is tucked away in the city center, offering a quiet escape amidst the hustle and bustle. The minimalist black and white design with copper and gold accents, along with the artistic walls in the common areas, the spiral staircase, and the heated pool, all make for perfect Instagram-worthy shots. The room is exquisite, featuring a comfortable KingKoil mattress and Carnation bedding for a great night's sleep. Details like the TOTO smart toilet and custom-scented toiletries are a nice touch. The service is warm and attentive, with a welcome gift upon check-in and a complimentary sweet soup before bed. Both the Dandan noodles and the Western brunch for breakfast are delicious, and they even provide a thoughtful map of local eateries. It's only a 3-minute walk to the subway, which takes you directly to Kuanzhai Alley and Taikoo Li, making getting around incredibly convenient.

GGuest UserThis was my second stay at the Ritz-Carlton Chengdu. The location is convenient, and the facilities are excellent. The bathroom fixtures are all international brands, and they provide a coffee machine with capsules and a good selection of tea bags. Flair Bar still has its great vibe, with an updated drinks menu and a wide variety of red wines and whiskies. The bartenders and sommeliers are all very professional. I especially want to thank Leon, the duty manager, for arranging my room and accepting a package for me in advance. His service was very thoughtful and customer-focused.

SSeasons in th sunThe Luxe-Eastern in Chengdu is in an older part of the CBD. Lots of local eateries around the apartments, making it a noisy and littered area. The apartment entrance is on the 3rd floor, accessible only by an unlit escalator.
The 3-bedroom apartment is ok, nothing special. It's broom sweep clean. Some walls are scratched. Furnishings are there, with no thought to user-friendliness. Cookware and washer are available. No dryer so you have to hang dry your clothes.
Service is average. They will give you what you ask for, but won't take any initiatives. There was no flushing water the first night of our stay, and the staff didn't give us buckets. They said they don't have buckets. We had to ask for other water containers.
The worst thing about the place is that the hallway reeks of dead rats. It smells like a garbage dump every time you open the apartment door.
We definitely will not stay here again.

It was my first time here, and they were incredibly warm and helpful, upgrading my family's room and offering a late checkout. They even gave us complimentary fruit when we arrived late at night. Hotel parking is free, and the location is fantastic, right in the city center, which is super convenient for getting around by car. The room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped, plus there's a pool. I highly recommend staying here!

YYunguThis is a business hotel that's been open for many years. I used to stay here often for business trips years ago and always had a good experience. This time, I brought my child to Chengdu for a trip and decided to stay here again. I was surprised to see that even after all these years, the hotel still has a high occupancy rate. Although the facilities are older, they're well-maintained. The price is also very reasonable, and the key is its excellent location. The subway station right outside the entrance makes it easy to get to all the scenic spots, which is super convenient for getting around. It's a hotel with great value for money.
