Spent three nights in the four beds female dorm, pretty sure one of the roommates lives in the room and her stuff was taking a lot of the space, still spacious and clean enough.
Common areas and terrace are great, you can leave your luggage after check out, there's and elevator, really good location, close to the metro and to a small night market.
I didn't take part in any but the hostel organizes activities and tours.
Only con is the mattress, really thin and pretty uncomfortable, if you sleep on your side your hip bone might hurt.

Really convenient location, right outside the exit of Xinnanmen metro station. My roommates for that night were considerate - they did not disturb the others when they were moving around in the room. The bed is wide enough and there is a hook to hang your things. There is a light, bottled water, charging point and curtain for privacy. Each bed has a locker which can be accessed by tapping your room card on the sensor. The locker is big enough to fit at least a medium size suitcase and a backpack. It is a shared toilet and toiletries, towel and shower gels are not provided. You may purchase them at the front counter for a cost. They have laundry service for a fee as well.

The hostel is on the 10th and 12th floor of an old apartment. If you want to do laundry, you need to scan QR code to activate the washing machine on the app (Chinese download) so I had to ask one of the staff to help me and note to yourself thấy they do not have dryer so it’s natural drying.
One of the old lift got broken when I was inside but luckily, I got outside safely.
Overall, it’s a good place to stay in groups and for you to relax on the weekends.

It’s a bit difficult to find the door, but the all-female atmosphere is very good. There will be a young lady who will introduce you to the facilities in detail. Send a disposable bath towel and bring your own toilet paper.
The lobby is relatively large. There are two sofas with refrigerators and microwaves. The mirrors and wallpaper are very beautiful. The sofa is very comfortable to lie down. The outside scenery is also very good.

The sheets and quilt covers on the bed were all prepared. I had to make the sheets myself when I stayed in many youth hostels before. It was my first time staying in a youth hostel. I originally planned to find a place to relax and rest. I was very happy every day here. The front desk staff was very nice. I really enjoyed my stay. I had a double room. Clean an quite. The hostel is based in a dead end road. No traffic.
They're many resteraunts nearby. The subway is like 500m (the price for being a quiete place). I always used a bicycle. There are plenty.
They have a little garden/plants and a quacking duck😄
The host was friendly, always asking if I required anything and speaks good English!!! Super helpful as a Foreigner.
The hard beds are a thing. I like them. Just be aware when booking. In the room you head touth brush, soap, shampoo, water, toothpaste and a hair dryer.

GGuest UserEverything is very clean and well-organized, the service attitude is great, and the location is excellent. The wontons in the small alley downstairs are delicious. Plus, the toilet is a smart toilet, and the hairdryer works really well. This is truly a high-value accommodation.

DDuanmaomengmaThe design of the bathroom is so outrageous. The clothes rack is facing the squat toilet, to the point where clothes can fall into the toilet if you are not careful. And every cubicle is like this, even the innermost large cubicle, where the clothes rack is facing the squat toilet.
There is a fixed hair dryer on the sink, but the socket is inaccessible in the cabinet below. There are no other sockets on the wall. If you bring your own curling iron, you can't use it unless you don't need a mirror.
Then there's the sound insulation. I had firmly believed that a wooden door would be better than that kind of curtain, but I was wrong. The wooden lattices put together are really noisy, the kind of noise that carries resonance. For example: I finally fell asleep, but I don't know if it was the neighbor below, next door, or behind me who hit the wooden partition when he took the charging cable, and the metal head rubbed against it, and the piercing noise that seemed to explode next to my ear woke me up directly. Noises like this one coming through the wooden partition are very loud. In addition, there are many people living together, with all kinds of work and rest schedules, and there are still people walking around at 2 a.m.
There is a fresh air system and no serious odor in the cubicle (there is a little bit, maybe the smell of wood? Not sure), but the perceived temperature is very uncomfortable. It is very hot with a quilt and very cold without a quilt, which greatly affects the quality of sleep.
What is worth mentioning is that the hygiene is quite good and there is enough storage space. The transportation is also convenient, very close to the subway station. A lockable wooden door gives you a sense of security (but a metal door lock with a clattering sound can disturb your neighbors)

YYz SoonI've stayed here for 2 weeks, overall I'm very satisfied. Price is reasonable, location is superb, 5 mins walk to Chunxi Rd. metro and the shopping district Chunxi Road, where they have express bus to Airport, Panda Research Base, Sanxingdui Museum, etc. Although it was a bit hard for me to locate the hostel on the first day (you have to walk in from another hotel or use the back door behind the building to access the lift), after that it was all good. From here to Chengdu East train station will take about 30 mins to arrive with Didi (e-hailing) during 4 - 5am if you're taking the first HSR train to Jiuzhaigou area.
Although the staffs didn't have the brightest smile but they sure are very helpful. There's one night the roommate next to my bed blatantly eat, smoke and play mobile games loudly inside our room around 4am. I complained to the staff on WeChat and he immediately came into our room and warned that guy, the next day they offered me to change to another room, I really appreciate that.
My only complaint is the shower's water pressure, when taking shower sometimes the water pressure suddenly changes causing the hot water to become boiling water and I have to quickly adjust the temperature, I hope they will fix this issue soon. Another small complain is our personal locker, the one I was using had some problem where it wouldn't lock properly, whenever another guy opens the locker beside mine, my locker will open too.
Nonetheless I'm still happy with the stay, it's a friendly and modest hostel. I will definitely stay here again.
P.S apparently there's an age limit to stay in this ”youth” hostel, so just a reminder for those who're above 55 years old please double check with the hostel before booking. There's a small noodle place just downstairs, beside the parking entrance, they serve very budget friendly and delicious noodles, but they only have menu in Chinese language at the moment, I really love their dry-based Zha-jiang-mian (杂酱面) literally translates to Mixed Sauce Noodles.

Only 2 showers between all the dorms so sometimes waiting, and the cold water when showering smelt of sewage. My bed had another person's shorts making me question if it had been cleaned?
But near the temple, and the walk from the nearest metro stop has a market which is nice, also near the panda bus bus stop.
Also the room has AC (even though listed as without)

GGuest UserMy advice? Do not stay here. There are two bathrooms and they permanently smell like awful stinky urine. I had to go buy bleach and clean myself to be able to use it, three hours later the smell was the same. Beds are fooor hard, the bed sheets and towels are super clean. The owner is the kindest guy. But this is like a frat house. It’s mainly Chinese men full time living here, they all smoke in the kitchen. There’s a cat that meows like crazy at 5 am.
There’s a washing machine that you can use. It’s an old flat building, extremely hard to find. Also they moved so the adress now is same building block but building one floor 5. Exit elevator and it’s the door in your right.
Again, owner is the kindest and most helpful person. But if you can afford something better just do.

AAnonymous UserThe floor is high, the bed is very wide, more than enough for one person to sleep on, the curtains are very light-blocking, and the bathroom is very clean. To check in, you have to go to the 21st floor. Overall it’s great. There are a lot of food downstairs and takeout can also be delivered to the room.

MMAKII only stayed one night.
It was a 12-minute walk from Chunxi Road Station Exit D. The road is not complicated, as you only have to turn once. It is on the third floor of the building, but there is no elevator. You have to climb the stairs to the third floor. The toilets are Japanese-style only, and there is no toilet paper, so you have to bring your own. There is also a washing machine, which seems to be free to use. There is no air conditioning in the room, so the air was a bit humid. I wish there was air conditioning.
I personally prefer Western-style toilets, so I don't stay multiple nights. I'm glad I only stayed one night.
The staff was very polite. They guided me with a translator and took me to my room, toilet, and shower!
There is a Lawson and Family Mart nearby!

WWayfinder JadeGreat hostel within walking distance to many tourist areas but not inside the tourist areas so food nearby is very cheap and local. Lots of common spaces indoor, outdoor, and female only. Unfortunately no Western toilet on the female side. Cleanliness was pretty average for China. Seems like you can meet many people here but I only saw 2 foreigners in 3 nights. Unclear if staff spoke English but I also speak Chinese so not a problem.

LLisraekenAt fhe first, I could bot find the hotel, but I talked to the owner and she was so kind and promptly videocalled me and gave me instructions how to get to the hotel which is near to the bus station. The location of the hotel is very convenient, nearby you have a park, many restaurants, pharmacy, bus station. The hotel has some local people many of them were very friendly to me, we shared the food and sit next to each other for some time and talked in chinese. The owner of the hotel can speak English and she will give the clients the best service, she is really outspoken, caring and kind. The bathroom is public, you can share it with others, you can wash your clothes and then hang it. I enjoyed my staying, it is like a dormitory, you have your own bed, but you share the room with the others as the same gender as you.

SSdenkaThe hostel has a very convenient location, just a 5-minute walk from the subway and only a 10-minute walk from Kuan Zhai Alley. The service is excellent, the entire place is very clean, and the price is very affordable. Additionally, there's a complimentary water dispenser. This has been one of the best hostels I've stayed in China so far.
