Romantic Hotels in Chengdu

First off, the room was quite spacious, and there was even an entrance foyer right as you walked in, which immediately made me feel comfortable. The tasteful decor was exactly to my liking. All the facilities were complete, with kitchenware, tableware, a washing machine, and a refrigerator. The fridge even had complimentary fruit, coke, and soda water, which was a thoughtful touch. The master bedroom also came with a walk-in closet and a huge bathroom, which truly impressed me 🤩. The high-floor view was also very expansive and bright. And the large bed was incredibly comfortable – one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in 🛏. I also have to commend the apartment's concierge. They communicated with me about my needs in advance, provided very enthusiastic service, patiently answered all my questions, and even helped me with a late check-out. Thumbs up! 👍 Finally, there's 'Dumpling,' the manager at the lobby 😊, a lovely and friendly cat ~ The apartment offers afternoon tea and breakfast, but I didn't get to try them due to time constraints. I hope to have the chance to visit again sometime ~

Great location and excellent service! Cancan was incredibly helpful; I injured my hand and she kindly provided me with iodine swabs. The bed in the room was very comfortable. Fantastic experience, I'll definitely consider staying here again.

Pretty unique stay with it's decor. Room looked nicer in the photos because the lighting in the actual room was inconsistent with white and yellow bulbs. A standing lamp and the latch on a window were broken, but they fixed both the following day. They kept reassuring me it's safe (the broken latch meant the window couldnt be closed) but as a solo traveller it's still best to err at the side of caution. Plus it meant I couldn't block outside sound, and was actually woken from my nap by food wrapper noises by someone on the balcony (it's shared). For extras, the ******* clothing is actually free, 'oxygen' meant aircon, you have to remind them on the welcoming gifts, so the only thing I'd is worth paying the extras for is their handmade tsampa and butter tea. Pretty filling and you can have it as breakfast (though you might not be used to the taste haha) Overall a good experience because of their friendly service, good attitude, and always having a smile on their face. I suggest for them to be proactive in telling the guests on what their extras are and how to request fro them, instead of the other way around.

The hotel is quite old. The soft furnishings in the room were relatively clean and tidy, but the sliding door in our room was a bit wobbly. However, the air conditioning was excellent. We were in Chengdu for two days, and both days were scorching hot with high temperature warnings by 10 AM. Breakfast was decent; not super elaborate but it had a coffee machine and some pastries. The Chinese restaurant at the hotel served pretty good food.

Every summer, I come to Mount Qingcheng, and I've pretty much stayed at all the famous hotels and guesthouses here, with Six Senses being the only one left. So I decided to stay for a night. The reason I waited so long to try Six Senses is because of the mixed reviews online – some praise it to the heavens, others tear it down, making me hesitant to spend money unnecessarily. However, since I've practically stayed everywhere else, I finally gave in to the urge to check out Six Senses! Let me start with the conclusion: the experience was truly disappointing, even a huge letdown! Why? First, its location right next to the Qingcheng Mountain High-Speed Rail Station means there's no sense of secluded retreat at all, which completely undermines the Six Senses brand's reputation for seclusion. Upon entering, it felt hot and stuffy everywhere, not cool at all. This is because the vegetation around the hotel is too sparse, and the trees aren't lush, causing the ground to be scorched. It felt like I had entered a farmhouse guesthouse in Qingcheng Mountain town, completely lacking the ethereal charm of Mount Qingcheng. Moreover, the hotel doesn't have large water features, further diminishing any sense of vibrancy! To put it bluntly, it's not even as good as the adjacent Howard Johnson Qingcheng, which has an earthy charm that makes you feel refreshed and peaceful as soon as you enter. Furthermore, the overall design of the hotel is terribly poor; it's a maze with no clear hierarchy or aesthetic appeal. The room design is even worse, truly embodying the 'upscale farmhouse' aesthetic – neither ancient nor modern, neither rustic nor sophisticated. The interior space of the room is partitioned into small compartments, the lighting is dim, and the balcony is incredibly tiny and mosquito-ridden, making it impossible to relax and enjoy a vacation! The flow within the room is chaotic; the minibar and fridge are placed next to the bed, and when you want to turn off the lights for sleep, you can't find the switch, having to get up and go to the sofa to turn it off. The fan is impossible to turn off easily, and there are hardly any power outlets for phones and laptops! I don't know which designer came up with this anti-human design; it's as if they deliberately made guests uncomfortable! What's even more ridiculous is that the king room and garden room are designed with one above the other, making it easy to see people downstairs from upstairs! Is this to make it convenient for neighbors to visit? It's so 'down-to-earth' that it feels like living in a residential complex! Where's the vacation feeling in that? In short, the stay was very unpleasant. The room wasn't spacious enough, nor was it cozy! You couldn't comfortably lie down or sit up! The room design of Six Senses lacks the grandeur of Qingcheng Songpin, the style of Zuowang Senlin, the ethereal quality of Qingxia Shanju, and the层次感 (sense of layering) of Qingcheng Mountain Resort! However, Six Senses does have its merits, primarily its excellent service. Before check-in, they call to confirm, and after check-in, a butler contacts you, sending various reminders throughout your stay and assisting with booking complimentary services within the hotel. If anything is needed in the room, just ask, and it's delivered immediately. This aspect was quite satisfactory; the service can be said to be the best among all hotels in Qingcheng Mountain, and this alone lives up to the Six Senses brand. Also, the breakfast variety is quite rich and of good quality; the yogurt is homemade by the hotel, and the cherry tomatoes are homegrown. The only inconvenience is having to run up and down between floors in the restaurant to get food! To summarize, Six Senses is worth at most 1,000 yuan per night. Such a high room rate is simply overpriced and a rip-off. Staying there a second time would be a complete waste of money!

The hotel is conveniently located near Chunxi Road, making it easy to get around. They offer a complimentary late check-out service, and their milk tea service is excellent, making guests feel very well taken care of. The full-length mirror in the room is also great for photos. Highly recommend!

Located close to Chunxi Road(5 min walk) and Tianfu Square(10 min walk), exit at Exit E1 or Exit A from Chunxi Metro Station for nearest exit. The lobby is huge and clean, the single room also huge and comfortable. The breakfast variety is good for 4* rated hotel with noodle/salad/pastry station and hot dishes like Thai chicken curry, fried mixed vegetable etc, good breakfast to start the day. The staffs are helpful but might hv some difficulty to understand some crucial request. I asked for no room clean but need water bottles and ended up getting none. I very like the carpetted room but I found few strains of hair left, the housekeepers could do abit more hard vacuum during cleaning I guess. Others were spotless. There a lot of eateries and shops around the hotel and this is very convenient for guests. The local post office is nearby for someone love to postcross too. Very recommend this hotel for all travellers coming to Chengdu.

Just be warned: when you type this location in Didi it will take you to the back of the building rather than the front. The location was convenient, with restaurants and a walking street by the canal that is full of vendors at night. We really liked how the beds can all adjust to prop up your back and/or legs, and even have a massage function. Staff were courteous. Definitely enjoyed our stay here.

Last year, I stayed here with my child when we visited Sanxingdui. We booked a king room, and the location was excellent. So, on this trip, driving to Jiuzhaigou, I booked here again. This time, I got a twin-bed family room. The room was quite spacious, but the air conditioning was a bit slow to cool down. When I called the front desk, the staff were incredibly helpful. They found two rooms for me to check the A/C, ready to switch my room if needed. Kuanzhai Alley is just a few minutes' walk away, and Tonghuimen subway station is right next to the hotel. There's a Pizza Hut at the entrance. It looks like there used to be a shopping street there, but it's now a bit run down. However, this actually made our stay quieter, and we slept really well. Chunxi Road and People's Park are just 1-2 subway stops away, and when you get off, there are noticeably fewer people, so it's not crowded at all – perfect for a family trip! Both my husband and child loved it here. We'll definitely stay again on our next holiday.

It’s super close to the train station and staff initially offered an early check in to the hotel, however as I was rushing to the train station in the morning I left the luggages at the front desk and they assisted to store they were very accommodating. After a long day and walk I asked the front desk for recommendation and the guy wearing spectacles on night shift during my stay gave a very good recommendation for a massage that is 5 minutes away. They also offer in room massages but I didn’t opt for it.
