Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo ★★★★★
"Overall, the hotel is good, but it is clear that the property has not undergone renovation for quite some time, and the interior already feels noticeably outdated. I was also surprised to find only two towels in the bathroom and toothpaste provided in a sachet, which looked rather unusual for a hotel of this level.  We did not try breakfast, as we unfortunately overslept. The sleep quality itself was excellent. The staff were extremely warm and welcoming. We happened to stay on the day when an earthquake occurred in northern Japan, and the team handled the situation very professionally—calmly explaining everything, reassuring us that we were completely safe, and even encouraging us to continue enjoying our evening drink at the bar without worry. Overall, thank you for the stay. There is certainly room for improvement, as Mandarin should strive for perfection. In this case, I believe there are aspects that could be refined."
