I originally wanted to book the hotel room type I stayed in for the first few nights, but it showed as fully booked, so I could only reserve this more expensive club twin room. It turns out the more expensive experience was not as good as the basic room type I had before, and I didn't feel it was any better. Moreover, when I checked in, I found that the room type that was shown as unavailable when I booked was actually available that day, and there were quite a few of them, at a cheaper price too. I'm not sure what Ctrip means by playing these games, and I'm very unhappy about it.

1 Next to Tokyo Station, Daimaru is on one side and Four Seasons is on the other. Tokyo Station has two main exits, one is Marunouchi and the other is Yaesu. You can find it after you go directly to Tokyo Station from the airport. The nearest exit is Yaesu South Exit. 2 Three people are traveling together. If you find other hotels are small and book two rooms, it is better to go directly to Four Seasons to add a bed. It is very good, the service is thoughtful and warm, and the old man at the door is very kind. There are also simple snacks and chocolates for children. 3. It takes ten minutes to walk to Ginza, which is also very convenient. My son mainly went to see Itoya stationery store…

It can be a bit noisy being next to the station. The room itself is huge and very new! A downside is that the restaurant is often closed; out of three restaurants, I didn't get to try one. The view is nice though! The only real downsides are probably the construction site and the train station nearby. I'd likely come back because the rooms are genuinely much larger than other places at the same price point, and personally, I don't think the noise was that bad. Room service options are a bit limited.

Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi | A Stay with Both Excitement and Disappointment When I chose the Four Seasons Tokyo at Otemachi, I was incredibly excited – in my mind, Japan represents the pinnacle of service, and the Tokyo Four Seasons should be the benchmark. However, this stay made me rethink the meaning of “top-tier.” First, the highlights: * The staff, from reception to management, were genuinely warm and enthusiastic, and their English proficiency was excellent for Japan. * The room amenities, bedding, and cleanliness were all top-notch. The welcome gift was particularly thoughtful – a Tokyo Tower jigsaw puzzle cookie with Mount Fuji in the background, a delightful surprise. * The room cleaning was very thorough and meticulous. A convenience store and subway station were right downstairs, and the area around the Imperial Palace was quiet and convenient. However, the problems were equally prominent, largely concentrated in the two core aspects: “sleep” and “dining.” Regarding “Sleep” – Noise and Room Assignment Flaws I specifically requested an Imperial Palace view room and was assigned room 3803. Although the view was partially obstructed by a helipad, it was acceptable. However, at 5:30 AM the next day, loud banging noises started coming from upstairs. After complaining, I learned it was due to weights being dropped in the gym. Even more frustrating, at exactly 9 AM, the doorbell rang – a cleaning staff member who didn't speak English wanted to enter to clean the room. I have never had my doorbell rung to rush cleaning during a stay, and the promised “seamless service” was completely gone. The duty manager was very polite, admitted the noise was not an isolated incident, and proactively offered a room change. But at 5:36 AM the next day, the loud noises woke me up again. It then dawned on me: if the hotel knew about the noise issue with this room type, why didn't they ask if I minded when I checked in? Why was it specifically assigned to a Chinese family with children? This “侥幸” (chance-taking/luck-testing) attitude was disheartening. Regarding “Dining” – Michelin Restaurant Denies Children, Hair in Room Service Food A big reason for choosing the Otemachi Four Seasons was its Michelin-starred French restaurant, saving us the hassle of going out. However, when trying to book at the front desk, we were told they don't accommodate children under 12, dashing our hopes. We then ordered room service. The delivery was quick, and the menu was well-illustrated, but I found a hair in my food – in Japan, at the Four Seasons, this was simply unacceptable. After multiple complaints, management waived the dining charges. Their attitude was polite, but the speed and solution compared to similar-level hotels domestically were not superior, and the complaint process was quite convoluted. Other details: The duvet cover and duvet easily separated, leading to an uncomfortable sleep. The TV only had one Chinese channel, and most programs were in Japanese. For transportation, the entrance was somewhat hidden, requiring concierge assistance for taxis. Summary: The Four Seasons’ service etiquette was impeccable, but the fundamental aspects of a quality hotel – “sleeping well” and “eating well” – were not met. Especially the failure to disclose the known noise problem beforehand raises questions about management’s customer care. Sincerity might be in the attitude, but it should be more profoundly reflected in processes and details. I hope my experience provides a reference for other travelers, and I look forward to genuine improvements from the hotel.

The service was absolutely fantastic, I couldn't be happier! 👍 The hotel's location is unbeatable, right next to Tokyo Station with tons of restaurants nearby. My favorite part, though, was walking into the hotel and being greeted by that unique Shangri-La scent. 🥰 And breakfast? It was a delicious five-star experience! 😋

The hotel entrance is quite small, and the lobby is tiny. They offered soft drinks and desserts during check-in. Both the front desk and the buffet restaurant had Chinese-speaking staff. The hotel is within walking distance of Ginza, making shopping very convenient.

The room was clean and tidy, the location was convenient, the service was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious.

The location very convenient to take subway or taxi. Very nice hotel. As normal in Japan the service is very polite and professional. The sensation is like being in typical and old traditional Japanese home but in middle of city. The breakfast can be typical Japanese or western.

We booked Park Hyatt very last minute due to issue with our original hotel that we booked in Tokyo. We travelled with a 3 & 4 years old and the hotel was amazing. The playground across the hotel is a big plus. From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel very welcome and the process was very seamlessly. We left the first hotel fairly early and knew we couldn't get into the room but our plan was to go through Shinjuku and knew we wouldn't be back until later that day. The hotel lobby is on the 41st floor, you can see the entire city view and at night the sight is amazing. The hotel location is about a 15min walk to Shinjuku station which is not bad and there is a shuttle that runs every 30min as well. Concierge was very helpful with everything during our stay. Breakfast service was professional and efficient. The staff were very friendly with kids and not snobbish at all. The hotel is an iconic place, most of the time we took a taxi or delivery they know the hotel by name. I highly recommend anyone that would like to pamper themselves in Tokyo. The hotel is a bit dated by the upkeep of the hotel is very good. Only thing that was a bit annoying was the light switches since it's not modern you can't control some lights individually.

Centrally located in Roppongi, with a high-end Midtown shopping mall right downstairs. This area sees fewer tourists compared to Ginza and is popular among local affluent residents, with a well-developed dining scene. The hotel itself features classic and traditional decor.
