"The hotel is at great location (right across the road from the Shinagawa train station) but upon check in. They were so disappointing. First I waited in the self check in for 15 mins but were then told i can’t check in for two rooms there. Then I waited 20 mins in the manual check in queue and then all of the sudden. All receptionists left the reception desk. Waited another 15 mins and 2 complains later. The reception ladies came back out. And then there was the breakfast queues. Every morning we had to wait 20 mins to get into breakfast however this was not their fault, there were so many guests and they did try by opening the second floor and directed people to another location. The breakfast options were increditable. The amenities were great but they were all additional costs. The swimming pool was extra £25 per person to use. And when I looked down from my room. It was empty 😅。 The left luggage queue was also another 30 mins. So in total I wasted a day queueing. But the facilities and location was amazing."

"The room was incredibly spacious, and the elevators were very efficient. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and it's conveniently located close to both JR and subway lines, making transportation a breeze. The staff were very friendly, and the self-service check-in and check-out made everything super convenient. You can store your luggage after checking out, and there's a bus service to Haneda Airport."

I stayed at Hotel Musse Ginza Meitetsu for several nights during my trip to Tokyo, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. It was easily one of the most satisfying hotels of my entire Japan trip. First off, the location is fantastic. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the Ginza shopping district, with plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. It's also very close to the subway station, making it incredibly convenient to get to Tokyo Station, Asakusa, Shibuya, or Shinjuku – a real time and effort saver for getting around. The room design was a pleasant surprise. While Tokyo hotels are generally not known for their spaciousness, this hotel boasts remarkably high ceilings, creating a very comfortable sense of space that completely avoids any feeling of being cramped. The decor is minimalist and modern, with excellent natural light, making for a very relaxing stay. The cleanliness deserves special mention. I stayed for several consecutive nights, and my room was spotless every day. Towels, toiletries, and other replenishable items were promptly replaced. The attention to detail was impeccable, ensuring a comfortable and reassuring stay. Breakfast truly exceeded expectations. Each morning offered a delightful array of small, exquisitely prepared dishes, including fresh fruit, eggs, miso soup, noodles, bread, salad, as well as fish and meat dishes. The variety was extensive, the presentation beautiful, and the taste exceptional. You could tell a lot of care went into preparing everything; breakfast was a genuine treat every day. Service also merits praise. The staff were warm, polite, and attentive. Check-in and daily interactions were smooth, reflecting the consistently professional and meticulous service you expect from Japanese hotels. Overall, this is a high-quality hotel with an excellent location, convenient transportation, comfortable rooms, outstanding cleanliness, exquisite breakfast, and thoughtful service. "The hotel's location is convenient, very close to the subway station, making travel easy. Taxis are always waiting outside the entrance. The public areas are incredibly 'grand,' and while the room facilities are a bit dated, they exude an old-class charm. The soundproofing in the main building isn't great, which is directly related to its age. The annex, being less occupied, has less noise from people, but the railway noise is unavoidable and quite noticeable at night. Although breakfast wasn't lavish (I only tried the second floor and the Japanese restaurant on the first basement floor), it was full of ceremony. The service exceeded expectations; the front desk and the one-on-one guides all spoke excellent English. Their responses were prompt and their attitude was wonderful, which was very impressive. However, the service staff at the popular first-floor lobby restaurant were just average (it seemed they were more enthusiastic towards locals?). Overall, I still recommend it; it offers good value for money."

"I stayed at the KOKO Ginza Hotel on their premium floor and it was such a pleasant experience. The location is perfect — right by the main shopping streets, making it a true shopping haven. The hotel is impressively well‑equipped, and I loved the thoughtful choice of brands like the Yaman hair dryer, which was a cool touch.The premium floor perks were delightful: free pancakes in the morning, plus unlimited drinks and snacks that I truly enjoyed. They also stored my luggage, which made things super convenient and helpful. It was my first time here, but certainly not the last — the combination of comfort, convenience, and thoughtful amenities made the stay memorable."

"Love the location in Ginza. Near the train station and lots of restaurants and departmental stores nearby. We stayed here for one night. Check-in was slow at 7.45pm. The staff seemed to be inexperienced and had to be assisted by another staff. Room was good size by Tokyo's standard and we managed to open two large luggage in the room. The bed was firm to our liking and the pillows were great, not the soft and flat ones. Check out was a breeze the next morning."

"The room was a little small, but with eight suitcases we expected that. The one thing that did make me uncomfortable was the bathroom. The floor didn’t feel stable — it seemed to shift or sit on an angle, which made me feel like I was moving, almost like being in an airplane lavatory. I didn’t feel good standing in there. On the positive side, the location was excellent and close to everything. We were on floor 12, very nice views. The staff were fantastic, and I really appreciated the display showing laundry availability."

Housekeeping is incredibly flexible, which I really appreciated. You can choose a full cleaning service or opt for an eco-friendly option where towels are refreshed and water is replenished without a full clean — a great touch depending on your needs. Another very convenient feature is the laundry service. The hotel offers both professional laundry and self-service washing machines (located on 27th and 28th floors). I personally used the coin-operated machines, and everything worked perfectly — washing and drying were quick and efficient. The location is simply unbeatable. It’s incredibly well-connected — whether you prefer JR lines, metro, or other transport options, everything is easily accessible. Getting anywhere in Tokyo was smooth and stress-free. This was actually my first time in Japan, and before the trip I was worried I wouldn’t understand the transport system and would rely on taxis. In reality, I figured it out almost immediately — and thanks to the hotel’s perfect location, I didn’t take a taxi even once. One of the most unique aspects of this hotel is that it’s also an art hotel — almost like a museum. There are fascinating artworks and exhibitions throughout the floors and common areas. If you’re into art, you can even explore guided experiences. Even without that, just walking around and discovering the pieces was a beautiful experience in itself. If I could give this hotel 100 stars, I absolutely would. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay in Tokyo so special.
