You can self-check-in and store your luggage, which is really convenient for introverts."

"The hotel is at great location (right across the road from the Shinagawa train station) but upon check in. They were so disappointing. First I waited in the self check in for 15 mins but were then told i can’t check in for two rooms there. Then I waited 20 mins in the manual check in queue and then all of the sudden. All receptionists left the reception desk. Waited another 15 mins and 2 complains later. The reception ladies came back out. And then there was the breakfast queues. Every morning we had to wait 20 mins to get into breakfast however this was not their fault, there were so many guests and they did try by opening the second floor and directed people to another location. The breakfast options were increditable. The amenities were great but they were all additional costs. The swimming pool was extra £25 per person to use. And when I looked down from my room. It was empty 😅。 The left luggage queue was also another 30 mins. So in total I wasted a day queueing. But the facilities and location was amazing."

"The room was incredibly spacious, and the elevators were very efficient. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and it's conveniently located close to both JR and subway lines, making transportation a breeze. The staff were very friendly, and the self-service check-in and check-out made everything super convenient. You can store your luggage after checking out, and there's a bus service to Haneda Airport."

I stayed at Hotel Musse Ginza Meitetsu for several nights during my trip to Tokyo, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. It was easily one of the most satisfying hotels of my entire Japan trip. First off, the location is fantastic. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the Ginza shopping district, with plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. It's also very close to the subway station, making it incredibly convenient to get to Tokyo Station, Asakusa, Shibuya, or Shinjuku – a real time and effort saver for getting around. The room design was a pleasant surprise. While Tokyo hotels are generally not known for their spaciousness, this hotel boasts remarkably high ceilings, creating a very comfortable sense of space that completely avoids any feeling of being cramped. The decor is minimalist and modern, with excellent natural light, making for a very relaxing stay. The cleanliness deserves special mention. I stayed for several consecutive nights, and my room was spotless every day. Towels, toiletries, and other replenishable items were promptly replaced. The attention to detail was impeccable, ensuring a comfortable and reassuring stay. Breakfast truly exceeded expectations. Each morning offered a delightful array of small, exquisitely prepared dishes, including fresh fruit, eggs, miso soup, noodles, bread, salad, as well as fish and meat dishes. The variety was extensive, the presentation beautiful, and the taste exceptional. You could tell a lot of care went into preparing everything; breakfast was a genuine treat every day. Service also merits praise. The staff were warm, polite, and attentive. Check-in and daily interactions were smooth, reflecting the consistently professional and meticulous service you expect from Japanese hotels. Overall, this is a high-quality hotel with an excellent location, convenient transportation, comfortable rooms, outstanding cleanliness, exquisite breakfast, and thoughtful service. "The service at the Imperial Hotel is truly exceptional. From the front desk concierge who escorts guests to their rooms and explains the facilities, the staff are incredibly friendly without being overly formal. It perfectly embodies the hospitality and service standards from Japan's economic boom era. Honestly, the photos don't do the hotel justice, and the facilities aren't the newest, but once you stay, you'll find it incredibly comfortable. The provided toiletries are also excellent. The toilet area, designed so you can sit and do your makeup, is a really thoughtful touch – the Imperial Hotel in Osaka has the same feature. It might look unassuming, but it's very thoughtful and provides a comfortable stay. I found the breakfast buffet to be just okay, not as amazing as some reviews suggest, but it's definitely superior to many hotels in the same price range. Personally, I prefer the Japanese set menu; it truly captures the essence of a Japanese breakfast."

"Very accessible to the Tokyo Metro System in a quiet neighbourhood even if its just a block away from the heart of the Ginza shopping areas! The standard room is a tight squeeze for 2 people but if you are crafty, you can manage. I love that their amenities include bath salts and they're rose scented so its very useful and calming after a day of exploring the city! They have the best hair dryer in all of the hotels I have stayed at in Japan. Love the white glassy aesthetic; clean and bright yet still chic-homey for a hotel. The ice cream vendo is perf after a sunny day and the free ice machine/water dispenser at the lobby is a life and budget saver! Staff is very accommodating to our requests and querries, even tho some are just trainees!"

"Every time I visit Tokyo, I stay here because it's so convenient for getting around. This time, the room was much cleaner than my last visit. We first stayed for three days, then left for Izu, and came back for one more night. I noticed that during our first check-in, the slippers weren't disposable, but they were during our second stay – a bit odd 🤔 Also, the toiletries weren't Mikimoto anymore."

"The neighborhood is very quiet. It's a bit far from the city center, but it's just a short ride by metro. The staff were friendly, but the room was quite small — if you're traveling with more than one suitcase, there isn’t much space to open them comfortably."

"The room was a little small, but with eight suitcases we expected that. The one thing that did make me uncomfortable was the bathroom. The floor didn’t feel stable — it seemed to shift or sit on an angle, which made me feel like I was moving, almost like being in an airplane lavatory. I didn’t feel good standing in there. On the positive side, the location was excellent and close to everything. We were on floor 12, very nice views. The staff were fantastic, and I really appreciated the display showing laundry availability."

Housekeeping is incredibly flexible, which I really appreciated. You can choose a full cleaning service or opt for an eco-friendly option where towels are refreshed and water is replenished without a full clean — a great touch depending on your needs. Another very convenient feature is the laundry service. The hotel offers both professional laundry and self-service washing machines (located on 27th and 28th floors). I personally used the coin-operated machines, and everything worked perfectly — washing and drying were quick and efficient. The location is simply unbeatable. It’s incredibly well-connected — whether you prefer JR lines, metro, or other transport options, everything is easily accessible. Getting anywhere in Tokyo was smooth and stress-free. This was actually my first time in Japan, and before the trip I was worried I wouldn’t understand the transport system and would rely on taxis. In reality, I figured it out almost immediately — and thanks to the hotel’s perfect location, I didn’t take a taxi even once. One of the most unique aspects of this hotel is that it’s also an art hotel — almost like a museum. There are fascinating artworks and exhibitions throughout the floors and common areas. If you’re into art, you can even explore guided experiences. Even without that, just walking around and discovering the pieces was a beautiful experience in itself. If I could give this hotel 100 stars, I absolutely would. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay in Tokyo so special.
