"Right across from Shinagawa Station, this hotel is super convenient for getting anywhere as Shinagawa is one of Tokyo's major transportation hubs. There's a 7-Eleven on the 2nd floor of the hotel annex, though it gets so busy during peak hours that the staff look completely worn out. It's generally very convenient if you avoid the 7-9 PM rush. I was a bit disappointed that the ice machine on my floor was out of order during my stay. The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious, with both Western and Japanese options, including cold udon, curry rice, gyudon, and freshly made onigiri."

"I was on the twelfth floor, with the window facing Ginza. There wasn't much to see, just other buildings. Everything else about the hotel has already been covered by other reviews, so I won't repeat it. I did like the little stool in the bathroom; it was very stable for sitting down to do makeup and blow-dry my hair. At night, I could hear the trains. It was the JR line, rattling past every few minutes, and the bed would actually shake. Later, I realized these were the 3 rounds of earthquakes we experienced over 2 days. The JR line only stopped from 1 AM to 4 AM, and those few hours were quiet. The rest of the time, it was constant noise. If you're sensitive to noise, you'll definitely need earplugs. The room wasn't soundproof. I could clearly hear someone next door yelling at their child – they were foreigners, and I couldn't understand what they were saying. The pillows were too soft. My head sank right to the bottom as soon as I lay down, and I had to fluff them up every time I turned over. On the bright side, room service could be ordered a day in advance. I tried the Japanese style breakfast. The buffet on the seventeenth floor always had a long line, so I skipped that crowd and had them deliver it to my room instead, which was much more convenient."

"Staying in a tatami room was a new experience! My only minor quibble was the TV being on the side of the bed, which felt a bit unusual. Otherwise, everything was super comfortable. This is the closest hotel to the exhibition center, and I've been staying here for years. The staff are always incredibly helpful, quick to answer questions and resolve any issues. And the breakfast? Consistently amazing!"

"This was my fourth stay here, and I'm consistently impressed! Everything, from check-in to storing my luggage (while I spent three days in Osaka) and then checking back in, was incredibly smooth. I just wish I knew how to become a member because this is the only place I want to stay whenever I'm in Tokyo from now on! The large public bath on the second floor is incredibly relaxing after a long day – I went both in the evenings and mornings, haha! It’s all about comfort! Location-wise, it's perfect! There's a Lawson convenience store right across the street and a 7-Eleven just a short walk to the right, making it super easy to grab drinks and snacks like onigiri and sandwiches. Walk 200 meters to the right and across the street, and you'll hit the Mitsukoshi department store. Keep going, and you'll find Muji and Loft, then even further (near the Narita Airport bus stop) is a huge Sanrio store! So much to explore! Another 500-meter walk to the right will bring you to Tsukiji Tamasushi, which is famous for its delicious and fresh sushi. A bit further, and you're at the Tsukiji Market itself – oh my goodness, just eat your heart out! Montbell is also conveniently close by, perfect for some serious shopping! It’s so much fun! I stayed in a deluxe twin room, which had a tatami-like feel. It was spacious and very comfortable! I'm already planning to book my room for December! To get here from Narita Airport, buy a bus ticket for 1500 JPY per person. Take the bus from platform 6 and get off at Ginza Station. The hotel is about a ten-minute walk from there – just head towards the Mitsukoshi building, and you'll find it easily! Super convenient!"

Since it's a 'premium' property, the overall feel is a step up from the usual Mitsui Garden hotels. The breakfast spread is fantastic, and while the room is a tad small, it's perfectly acceptable."

"My second stay at this hotel and actually I wouldn’t look for alternatives. First of all, I’d like to thank all the reception for their hospitality and willingness to help with all my needs. They really showed the interest in solving my problem. I had the same type of room and it makes me feel so comfortable, like you came to your second home. I really love this feeling. Everything is around the corner. MITSUKOSHI and G6 just across the street. And girls, there’s a ReFa shower head in a shower! Also, I would mention the flower design at the entrance, which amazed me every time when I go out or come back! I love real flowers and the installation is always so beautiful, thank you, girls, who creates that beauty every time! Definitely gonna stay again. "The hotel has a ladies-only floor, which is very quiet and thoughtfully equipped with many toiletries, including face masks and skincare products. There's also a FamilyMart convenience store on the first floor, which is super convenient. The hotel entrance is also where the airport limousine bus stops. However, buses heading to Haneda Airport need to stop at the Shinjuku Bus Terminal for ticket checks after picking up passengers from all hotel stops. It takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes from the hotel to Haneda T3, but the actual journey from Shinjuku Bus Terminal to the airport is only 40 minutes; the first hour is just spent picking up other passengers. It's a 10-minute walk from the hotel to Shinjuku Station at a normal pace for a woman. Every time I visit Tokyo, I choose a hotel near Shinjuku Station. Although this hotel's facilities show some age, they are well-maintained. Considering its excellent location, it offers great value for money. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit."

"Reception staff are great and helpful. Room is clean. There is a 7-11 attached to the hotel and a Family Mart just few steps away. Location wise not the best especially if you like to shop. On the first day, cleaning staff knocked on my door and I told them I am still inside room but they kept knocking until I said no need cleaning that day, that was scary. Maybe cleaning service ends at a certain time? I didn't put up any sign and it was around 12 something."
