Hotels with Pools in Tokyo

I personally feel that the Capitol Hotel Tokyu offers the best value for money among Tokyo's luxury hotels. Safety is, of course, a given, located in the very heart of the government district. Getting around is incredibly convenient, with direct access to Tameike-sanno Station. This station is rarely crowded, making commuting easy and stress-free. For shopping, you can take the Ginza Line directly to Mitsukoshimae Station, home to the Mitsukoshi Nihombashi main store, where tax refunds are quick due to fewer crowds. A taxi to Shinjuku Isetan costs around 2500 JPY. There's also a convenience store in the underground passage directly connected to the subway, though please note it's not open 24 hours. I highly recommend the Japanese breakfast, which is served by the Japanese restaurant Suiren. The quality is exceptional and very satisfying, but you need to order before 10:00 AM. Overall, whether you're in Japan for business, shopping, or suburban sightseeing, this hotel is extremely convenient, and the dining quality is excellent. You can even book a table directly at the restaurant to entertain clients or friends.

I know the Andaz brand identity involves replacing the standard check-in experience with a “check-in host” experience where you are seated and an Andaz employee comes to you to check you in. However, for this specific Andaz, the concept is flawed as the check-in area is the same as the actual residents’ lounge which is awkward and unpleasant for guests using the lounge. The lounge should be a dedicated area for more exclusivity and comfort. Also, the gym is frankly abysmal. I can appreciate that space might be limited, but why not solve this with a double pulley machine that allows anyone to improvise a complete workout? The standalone lat pulldown machine inefficient as far as your setup. The Smith Machine is fine, and that paired with a double pulley machine combined with your existing benches solves a lot of problems. I couldn’t get a full workout in and had to rely on my access at the Tokyo American Club to workout. As this is very nearby, it wasn’t an issue, but I imagine someone without this access would be extremely disappointed with the existing gym setup. Lastly, I suspect it’s due to the confounding check-in/lounge dual purpose setup, but the lack of spatial separation makes the experience far less like a luxury 5-Star experience than something you might get at Hyatt Place or Hyatt House. It must be made clear the rooms are clean, the staff is excellent and they pass the hospitality check in spades. But for a property that positions itself amongst the upper tiers of luxury hotels the issues highlighted above are not just trivial, in my opinion.

I've stayed in four types of rooms at this hotel: 1. **Standard/King Room (any room below a suite):** They're pretty much the same. The size and view are identical, so I recommend picking the cheapest option. 2. **Corner Suite:** I absolutely do not recommend this room. The 'corner' only offers a view of the tower from one side of the bedroom window, you can't see it at all from the bed. Plus, there's zero privacy. Both the living room and the bed face the apartments across the street, which are incredibly close. You can even tell if their TVs are on. You'd just be staring at the people opposite from your bed, with no tower view! What's the point of a tower-view room if you can't open the curtains? The living room has no view, so there's no reason to spend time there. You can't even see the tower from inside the bedroom; you have to practically press your face against the glass. What's the point of this suite? 3. **Tower View Suite (non-corner):** Highly recommended! Don't try to save money here; the view is incredible. You can see the tower from both the living room and while lying in bed. It's practically perfect. I personally think the view is better than what you get at The EDITION or Fairmont, and it's much closer! While the service isn't as good as Aman, Aman has no view whatsoever! The breakfast here is genuinely delicious, and the restaurant is better than Aman's too. Even the spa experience is superior to Aman's. I really love it. In short, when choosing a room, either go for a standard room or a large suite – don't try to save money. I'll definitely be back!

The hotel's location is excellent; you can see it right after exiting Odaiba Station on the Yurikamome Line. You can even wheel your luggage directly from the platform to the hotel lobby. The rooms offer fantastic views, either facing the Odaiba Rainbow Bridge or the ocean. Iconic landmarks and attractions like the Gundam statue, Statue of Liberty, and Rainbow Bridge are all within walking distance, and Fuji TV is right across the street. For dining, you have three restaurant choices. The sushi restaurant on the 30th floor offers a set menu, not a buffet, and there are no self-service soft drinks. For getting around, the Yurikamome Line is your best bet. If you head out early and return late, you'll be traveling against the peak hour traffic, and since the hotel is at the line's terminus, you'll almost always get a seat, which is a huge plus.

The service can be said to be the ceiling of the industry, meticulous and thoughtful without leaving any trace. I stayed in the hotel for a long time. I often drank tea and drank in the room and looked at the scenery, but I never saw the cleaning staff. However, they cleaned up twice a day. Very detailed. There are several staff in the restaurant who can speak Chinese, and communication is very convenient. Special praise to Sun Xiaoqi for helping to recover the jewelry. The club staff are also very gentle. As for the view from the room, you can see Mount Fuji and Tokyo at night, it’s unbeatable! Although the decoration is old, it has its own characteristics. Like the library very much. However, there is often a strong smell of gasoline at the entrance on the second floor. There are many staff waiting there all the time. I feel sorry for them and it also reduces the sense of the hotel. I hope this issue will be improved during the renovation this year.

There are many hotels in Tokyo's Asakusa area, and this one is right by the subway station, within walking distance to Senso-ji Temple. I chose this hotel because it's generally a higher-end option, but I didn't opt for the best floor or view since I didn't want to spend extra money. On the bright side, I could see Senso-ji Temple and the distant Skytree. The photos with the Skytree were taken while dining at the hotel's upstairs restaurant; the others were taken from my room. It was my first time experiencing how truly small Japanese hotel rooms can be. The service was quite attentive. When leaving, I asked an English-speaking staff member to help explain the address to the taxi driver. My takeaway is that I could have booked a better room for the same price, but I procrastinated, and by then, all the prices had gone up, so I didn't want to spend even more.

This was my very first visit to Tokyo, and staying at Dai-ichi Hotel Tokyo was an absolute privilege. From the front lobby to room service and the Club Lounge, I was deeply moved by the incredible hospitality and kindness of every single staff member. Coming to Tokyo without knowing much about the city, I couldn't have picked a better location. It provided seamless access to all the places I wanted to visit, including Ginza, Tokyo Station, the Imperial Palace, Azabudai Hills, and Shibuya. On top of that, the vibrant izakayas surrounding the hotel were so inviting that I wished I could visit them all. Without a doubt, I will choose this hotel again for my next trip to Tokyo. The best value-for-money hotel suite in Tokyo. Excellent location, top-notch hotel service, and impeccable cleanliness and comfort. The value for money is outstanding. It's far more convenient and useful than typical five-star hotels! I've decided this will be my first choice for future trips to Tokyo. The hotel is located in the financial district, a 10-minute walk to the train station, and then you have access to all sorts of shopping, dining, museums, and art galleries!

I stayed at Hotel 21 east . From the 2nd August to the 6th August with my two boys 14 and 16 years old . I must say this Hotel has double standards and can be very expensive which can not understand . I,ll explain ,My children 14 and 16 years are classed as adults in this hotel so breakfast and lunch full payment . The pool which is in the pictures from the brochure is extra to use. £35 extra per person this cost £105.00 pounds 10 am till 5.00 pm and then you would have to pay again. if you wanted to go for an evening swim . Which I think is a RIP OFF ! . The Gym which is also an extra payment,At the same hotel has a different rule about age.Your not aloud to use the gym if under 18 years old because the hotel gym classes you as a child if your under 18 . I can,t even escort my boys in the gym .To allow them to have a work out. .I spoke to reception just a straight NO back . This was extremely frustrating I asked to speak to another manager and was told one was available . A small coffee cost £8 Pound in the lobby. Cleaning didn't make the room on the last night . There,s a demolition site opposite the hotel drilling through out the day this should have been in the information before booking . There was night road works which started at 9 pm and went on till 6 am in the morning drilling through the night . I work for an airline and travel for work .Have never had this poor customer service before . I won,t be returning to this hotel and of your going to book this hotel read the small print very carefully . Yours Mike Taylor .

The facilities are well-maintained, and both Chinese and English services are seamless. There's a complimentary gym and multiple restaurants on-site. The drawbacks include the hotel's age and the fact that the pool requires an additional fee. It's also a bit further from the central city shopping districts. Overall, this hotel is ideal for guests who prioritize exploring Odaiba, appreciate scenic views and spacious accommodations. High-floor ocean view rooms are highly recommended.
