MakhamTravelI really love this place.
Location: Not far from Ikebukuro, you need to take the Tobu-Tojo line, but it is near the station, only a 3-min walk.
Cleanliness: Overall it is clean, but there is always a smell on the first floor, but it still doesn’t bother me!
Service: Really the best. I really love the staff here. I talk to Rio, who was the reception for my April stay he really has an impressive level of English, and he explains so well! I would love to chat with him again!
Also thanks, Nana, for keeping my luggage, and Anna, who is really bright and fluent in Japanese and English!
Amenity: I really love the basement here; there’s space for everyone. That's why I always choose this hostel. Even if the price is sometimes higher than other places, the staff always cleans the plate for you. The bin is too little for the amount of trash lol.
I recommend here! I leave the room to improve a bit for cleanliness, but this place is still clean! I hope next time I can give you 10/10

Erick858If you’re looking for an affordable stay that puts you steps away from buzzing restaurants and nightlife, this small hotel is a perfect pick. It’s light on frills but heavy on convenience, offering a no-fuss base for explorers who want to spend more on experiences than accommodations.
Tucked into a lively neighborhood, it’s surrounded by a number of cafes, restaurants, bars and convenience stores—all within a 1-2 minute walk, basically everything is right at your doorstep. The area feels vibrant but safe, with popular temples and public transit (a metro station just 5-10 minutes away) makes it easy to venture farther afield.
The hotel is room was small and compact but spotless, with a comfortable bed, AC ,curtains, and a sleek ensuite bathroom (hot shower + good water pressure!).The basics like a TV, free Wi-Fi, and a small desk were provided. The lack of clutter and modern minimalist design made the space feel fresh, not cramped. The bed is just good enough for two regular adults and a small kids.
While amenities are limited, they cover the essentials: 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and free amenities refills at the front desk.
The staff were friendly and efficient. They offered quick check-in/out, and delivered fresh towels to our door in the morning.

My first impression of the place made me want to leave. It's well known that all accommodations in Japan close their doors to guests after 10 PM.All flights arrive at night. I found a note with my name on the door with the access code and bed number. And that was something beyond description for me. Thank you for your hospitality, and I will visit again. If there is any mistreatment, it will be from the guests themselves, but if you are lucky, there will be a wonderful opportunity to learn about many nationalities and cultures. I thank my friend who was in charge of the work there, and my last picture in Japan was with him.

They have a nice bathhouse in the basement. Capsules do feel a bit small. Lockers are small, but you can put your stuff in your capsule or outside of it. Would book again, it's an authentic Japanese experience.

I really enjoyed this hotel. This was my first time in a capsule hotel, and it is better than the common western hostels. More privacy, better luxury. I enjoyed the bathroom and the amenities (slippers, bathrobe). My favourite thing about this hotel was its 70-80s style. There were still old telephones, old capsules and elevators from 40 years ago throughout the building. I really appreciated that, since I am especially interested in Japanese history during that period (the boom). Last but not least, I also noticed then good connection to the city center (about 1 hour by metro to the castle) and its proximity to the Tokyo Skytree (only a few stations).

It seemed that we were the only couple staying in the house a few days ago, so it was very quiet and felt very good. After a few couples came in the next two days, the house became noisy. People came and went in the morning and evening, and the corridors in the rooms were very crowded, so the experience was down, otherwise it would be a perfect score, although the washing machine and dryer cost money and were very noisy. The staff was very enthusiastic and allowed to store luggage in advance. The house was not in the main building, but in a corner ten meters away from the next door. The house is located as shown in the picture. The recommended index is full in the off-season, and it is halved in the peak season.

Extremely close to Senso-ji Temple, with convenient access to supermarkets, restaurants, and shopping malls within the Asakusa commercial district. The hostel has a great vibe, mostly occupied by Westerners. You can cook your own meals, and the quad room was quite spacious. At 600 yuan, it offers excellent value for money. Although bathrooms and showers are shared, there was rarely a queue. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Tokyo.

Facilities: The room is relatively small, and it is relatively suitable for one person to live in. The highlight is that it is small but fully equipped, with a kettle, induction cooker, and exhaust fan for oil smoke. There is no problem with cooking noodles. The bathroom is a small integrated bathroom. The tables, chairs, and lamps are all from an unknown era. There is also an inexplicable thing on the table with a lamp installed in it. I use it as a night light and it is not dazzling.
Hygiene: There is no dust on the floor and the table when entering the room. The wall is painted black. When the sunlight is obvious, you can see the dust on the upper half of the wall. There are mold marks on the toilet. When you open the door when you check in, you can also smell a little mold.
Environment: A homestay on a quiet road in the downtown area of Shinjuku, very close to Shinjuku Station (exit from the Koshu Kaido exit and navigate)
Service: Check-in is simple, sign, and give a door card. If you stay in the same room, you will put the bath towel in a bag and put it at your door. All the front desk staff I met were very friendly. I didn’t communicate much because of the language barrier, so I won’t comment on the service.

The location was just right for me, as I came to see beautiful scenery, not crowds. Shinjuku's neon lights and bustling streets aren't really my scene. Staying in the sub-city center (Fukutoshin) allowed me to experience more of real life.

The front desk and the accommodation are separate. You have to go to the front desk to check in before going to the opposite floor. The front desk staff seemed to be foreigners who spoke Japanese English but I could not understand them so I used a translator. I wonder if they saw my big suitcase. The key I was given was for a room at the end of the third floor. There was no elevator and the stairs were very narrow. I had to carry the huge suitcase up to the third floor layer by layer. And the room could not be locked from the outside with the key. It should not be considered a hotel. It is a youth hostel with good privacy, but I also saw uncles living there. The sound insulation is poor and I can hear the noises from each room. The toilets are separated for men and women, but the bathroom is on the first floor.
