"The check in was quick and easy, as was the check out, the breakfast was good but extremely over priced. But the room itself was like a hostel and the service was atrocious; - on my first morning there someone knocked on my door for ages at 05:50 and then when I had finally gone back to sleep they rang me on the room phone at 06:00 and at 07:00, the second time I picked up and they told me they have a technical difficulty in this room (couldn’t this have been said on check in or at a different time?!) so obviously I wasn’t happy. At breakfast time I then went to the check out desk to try and sort it out, there was no one there for 20 minutes, so I had breakfast and went back to the desk, where the staff member told me it was protocol that they knock and ring when this difficulty appears, I asked for a different room (as only my room was affected) the staff member said they were fully booked, which was completely understandable, so I asked for a refund as I wasn’t able to sleep and that was the reason I had booked a hotel room, to sleep. The staff member kept repeating that it was protocol and she couldn’t do anything, no refund, no new room, no technician untill a few days later. Ok top of this there were a few others things that disappointed me: - The curtains are super thin (even the ones pretending to be black out curtains) - The a.c is missing its cover, so you can see the dirty tissue type inlay material above the window - There’s no shelves or cupboards in the bathroom so I had to put all my make up supplies, shampoo etc all on the floor - Also, in most hotels you can put the card into a slot in the room to turn the lights on, which is brilliant because then you take the card with you when you leave the room and the lights all get turned of automatically, this doesn’t happen here, unfortunately it’s all manual All on all, I would not stay here again. And I wouldn’t recommend the room 341, there might be different, better rooms, but I don’t want to keep making the same mistake. If I wanted this type of service and this type of room, I would have booked a single room in a cheap hostel just down the road."

Everything was clean, the bed comfortable, and the windows had insect screens. The location is wonderfully quiet, and you can see the lake through the trees. The staff is very friendly; the receptionist, in particular, was very helpful with the booking process. Breakfast, which leaves little to be desired, is included in the room rate. The drive to the city center takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes. We would gladly return."

One would have thought wifi was a solved problem in 2025, but seems not at this hotel. Apart from that, overall, our stay was ok. We had a 3 person suite. Room was a few degrees too hot for our liking (around 23-25°C instead of 22°C), but it was acceptable."

"No complementary water in the room. The lounge access was expensive, and did not have much in terms of choices of beverages and looked shabby. They are in the midst of renovating/relocating the lounge, based on some posters, so it may improve in the future? Did not allow earlier check in, though they allowed the luggage to be deposited until then. Breakfast spread was good, but no rotation, and same throughout the 4 mornings I stayed. Location is good, near museum island and shopping and historical landmarks."
