The hotel's Wi-Fi was easy to use and fast. The room also had a convenient closet. The breakfast was very good, with a wide variety of sweet and savory options. It was a shame that the air conditioning in the room, even when set to 25/30 degrees, still blew cold air."

Unfortunately the room we were placed in had a serious mold issue in the shower. When I asked about it, they switched us to another room, but the showers still had significant marks of black mold in the grout of the tiles. The attached photo is the state of the shower upon check in. This is not up to what I have heard is the standard for Pullman brand and therefore I cannot recommend this hotel."

"It's 2026, and the hotel still requires you to call the front desk to order two free bottles of water daily and wait for a waiter to bring them up. Even asking for slippers or water from the service cart in the hallway is useless; you have to call to order. After cleaning the room, you should just put the water back in, but no, you still have to call. Such a simple thing is made into a huge fuss. German efficiency truly reflects its pervasive sluggishness. Even a small matter is turned into a royal decree, everyone is too busy, it's completely pointless. Is it because prices are too high that they're so frugal? But the hotel's location is good, so I guess guest satisfaction doesn't really matter."

"Sufficient for 1-2 nights, and the location is perfect for quickly reaching key attractions (Rosenthaler Platz, Central Station, Museum Island). Unfortunately, the beds were just pushed together, and we regularly had a gap between us. Also, the air conditioning didn't really work – the room wouldn't cool down. The headboard (faux leather) was worn and porous, and in the bathroom, the hook was mounted on the wall instead of the tile mirror, which led to noticeable water stains and discoloration."

"I expected a capsule hotel like in JP but it’s a hostel. The price wasn’t expensive so was okay but I wouldn’t really stay again and get a proper hotel. Bathroom - each has shower + toilet. Both mixed both M/F which I wasn’t very impressed with. But overall even though it was a shared, it was the best part of this stay. Pods - quite small. Mine specifically had the table inside broken and smelled a bit funny. Towels were free which is great at least. Location - not very far from things but hard to find (upstairs inside a warehouse looking building). Can still walk 30min into town + less than 10 min walk to metro but I would have preferred to stay somewhere else honestly if I had known. The guy at the counter was rude as well. It could be worse and was only 2 nights but wouldn’t recommend or stay again."

"Brilliant hotel all in all. I gave this a 5 star because this is exactly what we wanted for our city break in hotel. Rooms were clean, tidy and spacious. Staff were very helpful with whatever we needed and the free coffee machine was a brilliant touch. The area in which the hotel was located was so lovely with plenty of bars and restaurants. There was also a train station 5 minute walk from the hotel which you could get to any of the many attractions from which was so handy. I would recommend this hotel."

"A special thanks to Ms Seydel who was one of the hotel receptionist. She assisted me with my enquiries and went all out to provide me with options and possible solution to an issue I was having pertaining to a delivery. Location wise, it's easy to get on the U-subway, just about fifteen minutes walk. I like knowing that there's a mall within reach somehow so I could quickly grab a salad or quick snack on my way back in the evening. Hotel does not provide any amenities (such as bedroom slippers) or toiletries (such as toothbrush or showercap) so do prepare your own. Other than that, I will definitely choose to return to H4 Hotel Alexanderplatz on my next visit in Berlin. Thank you!"

"I was very satisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel. Everything was well-maintained and tidy. I would especially like to commend the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. They even arranged a sewing kit for me, and a very kind employee also helped me thread the needle so I could repair my bag – I am very grateful for that. The only downside was unfortunately the noise. Because of the heat, I had to leave the window open, and the noisy guests in the courtyard and playing children made a restful sleep nearly impossible."

"From the clean and spacious rooms to the hotel staff, this is an awesome place to stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially able to help first time visitors. The restaurant food is wonderful- breakfast buffet includes European and American-style food. Flatbread pizza was a great appetizer or meal and the bar though small was full serve always. The location was easy to access the bus or train or walk or bike. This is a top 2% hotel with everything they have and do. I won’t stay anywhere else in Berlin!"
