Novotel Suites Berlin City Potsdamer Platz

This was the best value-for-money hotel on our European trip. The location is excellent, close to the subway, making it easy to get around. The room was spacious and bright, clean and hygienic, and the facilities were complete and exceeded our expectations. We stayed for two nights and had a very pleasant experience.

The hotel was superb, service was 10/10, everything was great, we were very satisfied.

The location is convenient, right next to the subway entrance, and there's a supermarket nearby. The hygiene is also good. Novotel's standards generally suit us well. If you're looking for a standard stay, I'd recommend it.

The room and bathroom are both on the smaller side, with facilities standard for a budget hotel. Breakfast options aren't extensive, but they are quite tasty. The location is excellent; you can walk to Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, and other attractions, passing Checkpoint Charlie and the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe along the way. It's also not far from the Berlin Philharmonic. Hotel parking is quite expensive at 19 Euros per day. Directly opposite the hotel is the historic site of an old train station, which adds a nice touch of history.

I was worried the sofa bed would be uncomfortable, but it actually turned out to be wider and more comfortable than the regular bed. Overall, it was clean and I was satisfied.

The room layout is clever; it's not huge but very functional. The location is excellent, right in the city center, and parking is convenient. However, the gym is too basic. It's suitable for families.

The room had a microwave, which was great for heating up quick meals, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! Plus, kids ate free for breakfast, which really helped us save on travel expenses. It was super convenient for public transport as it was very close to the tram stop, and having a supermarket nearby was a definite bonus.

It was a bit of a walk from the main station, but the hotel was very clean, spacious, and the service was excellent. Above all, the staff were incredibly kind and helped me out a lot. Especially the front desk staff, who could speak Japanese, which made my stay very reassuring. The cleaning staff were also very friendly. I definitely want to stay here again when I come back to Berlin.
