Hotels with Kitchenette in Berlin

"After really looking forward to staying at this place, I was a bit disappointed. It is clear they lack in maintenance staff and also some housekeeping. Though the facade of the hotel looks beautiful and staff is really friendly, the rooms just gave me 'the ick'. After checking in and being sent to a one person room (I booked a double room), so it was a messy start. They apologised and offered to bump me up a category, which was really nice! When I came in the new room, I noticed some questionable spots in the carpeting. Like the kind where you do not want to guess what it may be. As it was 2 am by that time, I went to sleep and showed pictures of the room the next day. I was offered to change the room. I did later that night after being out with my friends. When I woke up the next morning, I wanted to take a shower. The showerhead was filthy however. That led me to do another check of the room, finding similar issues as before. I called staff to have the shower issue fixed, which they did. It was actually exchanged for a new one. At checkout the next day when asked about my stay, I said I wasn't impressed. Then I got told I should have told them so I could have changed rooms... I was too exasperated to explain that switching rooms 2 times for a three night stay was already annoying enough. I was also told to come back in a year as 'maybe I will be lucky and get a refurbished room then'. Which was a weird joke to make. Other than that, great hotel, they have amenities and all you could want and the staff was really friendly!"

"We were very satisfied with everything. Although the room amenities weren't top-of-the-line, it didn't affect our stay at all. The refrigerator was replenished with drinks every day, the breakfast was plentiful, and the burgers and steaks in the restaurant were delicious. The location was also excellent; everything was nearby!"

"The room was great, directly opposite the Duomo, and there's a Sichuan noodle restaurant right next door. The location is excellent too, with a subway entrance downstairs. The hotel building is very impressive, and the front desk service was good."

"A really nice and clean hotel with well-appointed rooms, and the small kitchenette with a fridge is a perfect addition. The location right near Checkpoint Charlie is superb. There are small cafes around, as well as McDonald's and KFC where you can eat relatively cheaply. The room cleaning wasn't great because we seemed to always be in the room at the wrong time. The one time out of three days that the room was cleaned, the trash cans unfortunately weren't emptied."

"Booked this for my son's 18th birthday trip. We booked two hotels of similar quality in Berlin for the kids so they could have a change of scenery during their stay. When I made the reservation, I mentioned it was their first independent birthday trip. The first hotel gave them complimentary drink and dessert vouchers, but this one didn't offer anything. My son said the hotel was nice and lively, with decent, standard facilities. They even ran into a singer who was performing in Berlin during their stay! On the downside, the swimming pool was very small and didn't really match the hotel's overall standard."

"Breakfast was great, but I found the room a bit small for two people. You can't really walk side-by-side in the room or the bathroom without getting in each other's way. The S-Bahn is right in front, felt like 10 meters away, see photo. Pay attention to fare zones A-B! C borders directly at the stop towards BER. Otherwise, everything else was fine. Parking was affordable, the same price in front of the hotel and in the parking garage, under €15/day is cheap. Food was available 24 hours. We slept well; no airplane noise. Good city connections. Easy access to the highway and an Aral gas station just one street over."

"The amenities were basic and the room was quite small. The only pleasant surprise was the fantastic location right on the Spree River, offering lovely river views from the window. However, I was charged €5 for a €3.91 tax fee because my credit card wouldn't process it and they claimed they had no change, which I found completely unacceptable. (On a positive note, the female staff and a male staff member who appeared to be Latin or Italian provided excellent service and were very professional.)"
