We booked 4 nights in this hotel. The service and the staff were really nice. Fresh orange juice service everyday ;)
The room was spacious and clean. A nice big shower and some free water was very nice.
The only minus was no air-conditioning. The room felt very warm on the 6th floor even though it was not that warm outside in May. The window could be opened but because the room was on the front the traffic was very loud in the night.
Had a lovely stay and would recommend to stay here. Maybe not in the warm months in Summer.

As good as advertised. A funky place. Clean, good sized rooms. Big windows. Great buffet breakfast. Close to East West Gallery and Warschauer Strasse train station, and LIDL, for picking up some extra items. The bar was nice, with live entertainment one night. On another night the bar was closed for a private event, but they had noticed up so that you could plan elsewhere. And if you needed anything from the bar that night, the front staff assisted.
Would definitely come again.

We recently stayed at The Circus Hotel in Berlin, taking two rooms for a short family trip. The experience was, in many respects, excellent. The location is ideal—central, with easy access to public transport and within walking distance of a huge variety of restaurants and shops.
Service throughout was truly commendable. Staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful at every turn. The hotel bar is a genuine highlight—stylish, welcoming, and well-stocked. We especially appreciated the honesty bar and terrace upstairs, which made for a beautiful, relaxed afternoon during our stay.
Breakfast was another strong point, offering a good variety of quality options in a comfortable setting. The rooms themselves are well-sized, clean, and nicely appointed.
However, there’s a major issue that any traveller should be aware of: there is no real air conditioning. What’s provided is what I would describe as a comfort cooling system—more symbolic than functional. During our stay, temperatures hovered around 25 °C during the day and 18 °C at night, yet the rooms remained unpleasantly warm. Both rooms had fans, and the windows had to be opened to let in any real cool air. It’s quite clear that the hotel expects guests to rely on the fans, which is not acceptable given the climate realities of Berlin summers.
This significantly affected our comfort and sleep. For travel between late May and early October, I would strongly caution against booking unless you’re completely indifferent to room temperature.
It’s unfortunate, because in almost every other respect, The Circus Hotel is a real gem. I genuinely wanted to love it, and in cooler months, I very likely would. But the absence of proper climate control is a deal-breaker in warmer weather, and it’s clear the hotel is aware of the issue—hence the fans in every room.
Pros:
• Excellent location
• Superb service
• Great breakfast
• Fantastic bar and terrace
• Generous room size
Cons:
• No air conditioning—only a weak cooling system and fans
• Rooms become uncomfortably warm even in moderate summer temperatures
Conclusion:
A brilliant hotel during cooler seasons. But for summer stays, particularly with children or light sleepers, the lack of proper climate control unfortunately outweighs the many positives.

etRlo1. Less than 15mins walk to S-Bahn trains, including airport routes, to and from airport is around an hour. The most economical way to travel. Yes, there’s a lift access for luggage, pram, wheelchair and etc use.
2. Location was ok in general, loving the residential surroundings, pretty peaceful and quiet.
3. Room overall, satisfactory cleanliness. Smart tv, outdated radio(cd,cassette)which I don’t mind having jazz music played whole day. Bed was confortable, pillow was just so-so.
4. A lot of strategic power sockets but not user friendly, all were local rounded in plug, usual international traveler plug would not fit in. Reception would loan without fuss.
5. Good security, lift access through room key, CCTV was placed, after hours main lobby door have to be access by room key,
6. Reception staff in general serious looking, some are friendly with a smile and greetings. Housekeeping gentleman was friendly.
7. Shower pressure and temperature was great, have to point inner slightly, if not water would be sprayed out from the shower cubicle.
8. Lastly, Aircon was not working and reception claimed perhaps it’s spoilt and could loan a fan without charges. Did not request for one, had my window left ajar at all times when in the room as weather was still lovely ranging about 10-20 degrees Celsius. I bet summer time would not be that ideal for sure.

Anonymous UserPerfectly located — within easy walking distance to most major sights in Mitte like the Brandenburg Gate, Berlin Philharmonic, and Checkpoint Charlie. For places a bit further out, there’s a train station right in front of the hotel, which makes getting around effortless. There’s even a dm grocery store just a minute’s walk away, which was super convenient.
The room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, with a full set of amenities provided from the start — something surprisingly rare in Europe. Overall, a very comfortable and well-thought-out stay. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at this apartment. The space is impressively large, impeccably clean, and comes fully equipped with everything you could possibly need — from a well-stocked kitchen to comfortable, thoughtfully arranged living areas. Nothing felt missing or improvised; you could tell great care went into making it a complete and functional home.
The location is simply unbeatable. Centrally situated yet tucked away in a wonderfully quiet neighborhood, you get the best of both worlds: easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transport, without any of the noise or chaos you’d expect from a central address.
We traveled with our young children and it was an ideal setup for a family. The apartment offers plenty of room for kids to move around safely, and the calm surroundings meant peaceful evenings and restful nights — something every parent traveling with little ones will truly appreciate.
Whether you’re visiting as a couple, a group of friends, or a family with small children, this apartment ticks every single box. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious, well-located, and comfortable stay. A true 5-star experience from start to finish.

The room was super clean. The hotel is centrally located. Walking distance from a shopping mall and the train station. We tried ordering room service but we didn’t have a way to do it and when we called reception they basically told us to just look in the room for the menu. We only had a breakfast one. Other than that, everything else was awesome.

The place is right in the middle of Alexanderplatz, so you can’t get more central than that. The hotel itself has seen better days and the parking feels like solving a puzzle in expert mode. On the bright side, the staff are super friendly and the rooms do the job. Only downside, the bathroom air conditioning sounded like it was trying to start a rock band.

yangThe location is in the northern suburbs, but it's less than a 30-minute ride by subway and S-Bahn to Brandenburg Gate and Berlin Central Station. The room is quite spacious and very quiet. Great value for money. There's a Lidl supermarket about 400 meters to the left when you exit. If you're heading to the city center, I highly recommend taking the S-Bahn on the east side (turn right when you exit); it's much quieter. If you go west towards the Lidl supermarket to take the U-Bahn, you'll find yourself in an area populated by Eastern Europeans, West Asians, and Africans, and you might even encounter a large Eastern European man urinating on the sidewalk just 2 meters away from you.

LlunixTo check in, it's online and it's a pain... sometimes the lockers fail and you have to wait for someone to come... which can easily take about 30 minutes. There is no one at reception… only specific hours on some days…. Of course, sleeping there is very quiet and very well located because you have the metro and bus station next door that immediately takes you to the center. Very good cleaning and they always leave you some details for breakfast such as coffee capsules, tea bags, potatoes, a cold drink in the refrigerator….
