GGuest UserDespite my explicit request for a quiet room when booking, the first night was very disruptive due to a high level of noise. Although I was assigned a new room the next day after my complaint, it was located opposite the fitness and sauna area. The loud slamming door caused by the high turnover of guests also prevented the desired night's rest there.
I found the incident on my last day particularly distressing: even though I had put the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, a staff member gained access to my room with a master key around 8:00 AM. I consider this a significant violation of my privacy.
Due to these experiences, I feel compelled to reduce my rating of your service by two points.

RRPSMWe recently stayed at The Circus Hotel in Berlin, taking two rooms for a short family trip. The experience was, in many respects, excellent. The location is ideal—central, with easy access to public transport and within walking distance of a huge variety of restaurants and shops.
Service throughout was truly commendable. Staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful at every turn. The hotel bar is a genuine highlight—stylish, welcoming, and well-stocked. We especially appreciated the honesty bar and terrace upstairs, which made for a beautiful, relaxed afternoon during our stay.
Breakfast was another strong point, offering a good variety of quality options in a comfortable setting. The rooms themselves are well-sized, clean, and nicely appointed.
However, there’s a major issue that any traveller should be aware of: there is no real air conditioning. What’s provided is what I would describe as a comfort cooling system—more symbolic than functional. During our stay, temperatures hovered around 25 °C during the day and 18 °C at night, yet the rooms remained unpleasantly warm. Both rooms had fans, and the windows had to be opened to let in any real cool air. It’s quite clear that the hotel expects guests to rely on the fans, which is not acceptable given the climate realities of Berlin summers.
This significantly affected our comfort and sleep. For travel between late May and early October, I would strongly caution against booking unless you’re completely indifferent to room temperature.
It’s unfortunate, because in almost every other respect, The Circus Hotel is a real gem. I genuinely wanted to love it, and in cooler months, I very likely would. But the absence of proper climate control is a deal-breaker in warmer weather, and it’s clear the hotel is aware of the issue—hence the fans in every room.

Conclusion:

OOlga HladkikhWe stayed at NH Collection Berlin Mitte for two nights over the weekend. Overall, it’s a great value for a short trip. The location is excellent and the staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. The room had everything we needed (comfortable bed, great bathroom, TV).
The best part was the sauna included in the price — perfect after cold winter walks, and it’s open until 10 pm.
Two small downsides: we felt a slight draft from the balcony window (winter stay), and there was a faint “old” smell in the room. Not a big issue, but worth mentioning. We didn’t try breakfast, so can’t comment on food.

The space is impressively large, impeccably clean, and comes fully equipped with everything you could possibly need — from a well-stocked kitchen to comfortable, thoughtfully arranged living areas. Nothing felt missing or improvised; you could tell great care went into making it a complete and functional home.
The location is simply unbeatable. Centrally situated yet tucked away in a wonderfully quiet neighborhood, you get the best of both worlds: easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transport, without any of the noise or chaos you’d expect from a central address.
We traveled with our young children and it was an ideal setup for a family. The apartment offers plenty of room for kids to move around safely, and the calm surroundings meant peaceful evenings and restful nights — something every parent traveling with little ones will truly appreciate.
Whether you’re visiting as a couple, a group of friends, or a family with small children, this apartment ticks every single box. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious, well-located, and comfortable stay. A true 5-star experience from start to finish.

We tried ordering room service but we didn’t have a way to do it and when we called reception they basically told us to just look in the room for the menu. We only had a breakfast one. Other than that, everything else was awesome.

GGuest UserI thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel in Berlin. The hotel was very clean, modern, and well-appointed. My room was spacious and very comfortable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and I slept wonderfully.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. All my questions were answered quickly. The breakfast was delicious and offered a great selection.
The hotel's location was perfect. Many attractions and public transportation were easily accessible.
I can highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again anytime.

Hygiene: Full marks for cleanliness, small but spotless.
Environment: Although it's a bit far from the city center, its convenient transportation makes up for it. The train station is just across the street, and there's also a supermarket nearby.
Service: The service was just so-so, but luckily the front desk staff spoke good English, making communication smooth.

YyangThe location is in the northern suburbs, but it's less than a 30-minute ride by subway and S-Bahn to Brandenburg Gate and Berlin Central Station. The room is quite spacious and very quiet. Great value for money. There's a Lidl supermarket about 400 meters to the left when you exit. If you're heading to the city center, I highly recommend taking the S-Bahn on the east side (turn right when you exit); it's much quieter. If you go west towards the Lidl supermarket to take the U-Bahn, you'll find yourself in an area populated by Eastern Europeans, West Asians, and Africans, and you might even encounter a large Eastern European man urinating on the sidewalk just 2 meters away from you.

LLlunixTo check in, it's online and it's a pain... sometimes the lockers fail and you have to wait for someone to come... which can easily take about 30 minutes. There is no one at reception… only specific hours on some days…. Of course, sleeping there is very quiet and very well located because you have the metro and bus station next door that immediately takes you to the center. Very good cleaning and they always leave you some details for breakfast such as coffee capsules, tea bags, potatoes, a cold drink in the refrigerator….
