This is my most value for money stay for a long time. I was given a free upgrade and the staff were really pleasant and helpful. The room was extremely spacious and heater warmed up the room well despite the single digit temperature. Had a morning breakfast buffet for 38rmb which is quite value for money for the choice of selection. Would totally recommend this to anyone.
Also book a day trip to Longji Rice Terrace from their service desk for 200rmb which was also one of the cheapest I can find.

The river bank outside the hotel has beautiful scenery. I rented a small electric scooter and experienced the relaxation of Guilin. All major tourist attractions in Guilin can be reached by riding an electric donkey, making travel very convenient. Rather than visiting popular attractions, I prefer to integrate into the local leisurely atmosphere. We stayed in a room with a small yard, and the children especially liked the swing chair inside. It's a pity that we didn't book the river view room on the top floor. Friends who prepare in advance can consider it, the experience should be better
Service: The local restaurant recommended by the boss is really good. I ate authentic beer fish and vinegar blood duck. Friends who love food should not miss it.

We were lucky to book this cost-effective B&B on our way back!
The lady boss was super nice. When we checked in, we happened to see them having a barbecue. She warmly invited us to eat with her and even sent a delicious birthday cake to our room for the child. They proactively communicated with us and changed us to a quiet room with sufficient heating. They also introduced us to a restaurant that was delicious and affordable. They were very thoughtful!
The bed in the room is very big, and the pillows seem to have been carefully selected, so I slept very comfortably at night. The hygiene is also quite good. Whether it is bed sheets, quilt covers or bath towels, you can see that they have been carefully cleaned and disinfected, so you can feel very safe staying here.
This B&B that is run with such care deserves a big thumbs up from the proprietress. I will come again next time I have the chance!

The overall experience is very good, the Lijiang River view is next to the homestay, and the cloudy scenery has a special flavor. The room was cleaned very clean, the equipment was very new, and the two nights were very comfortable. The breakfast rice noodles are delicious, and the chili juice is delicious, so you must add it. The homestay's own dog is very loved by his relatives and loves to play with his name. It is a wonderful fate! In the morning, walk the dog along the path next to the hotel, and there are fruit and vegetable breeding grounds on both sides, accompanied by fresh and moist air, the sound of birds, and the sound of the leaves being blown by the wind, which is very pleasant. I rarely stay in B&Bs, but I accidentally chose this B&B with a high score of 4.8 on the Internet. It is located in a Feng Shui treasure land at the foot of Diecai Mountain. It turned out to be the former residence of Huang Xuchu, a general of the Kuomintang and the chairman of Guangxi Province during the Republic of China. After being restored by the attentive owner, it has the temperament of a mansion in the Republic of China. [Wangchai] The entrance is right at the ticket gate of Diecai Mountain. Turn left and go through the cave to get close to the Li River. It can be called a running and leisure destination. I accidentally ran another 10 kilometers and mistakenly entered the small island in the village to experience the simple life of fishermen. Several major scenic spots in Guilin are within a radius of 3 kilometers [Proud]

This homestay is worthy of strong praise, the reasons are as follows: 1 pet-friendly, and there is a camping lawn, which can let the dog enjoy it. 2 has its own independent parking lot and there is a charging pile. 3 is also the most important, the room area is more than 60 square meters, the decoration and linen configuration do not lose any international brand five-star. I guess this homestay should be mainly internal reception. I got up in the morning and asked the front desk that they mainly received their company customers, and also picked up some guests by the way. Although the location is biased, it feels like a paradise. I went to Hainan this winter. If I pass by Guilin, I will stay at this homestay.

Very satisfied, it was a villa renovation. The landlord's family is very enthusiastic and feels like visiting a friend's home. Our family of three lives in a duplex, the picture is a loft, and it also has air conditioning. There is a balcony to dry clothes, parking spaces can be parked, the kitchen can cook food that is not heavy, there is also a riverside trail in the community, very comfortable

It's very clean and hygienic, but the hair dryer has a bit of a smell and I don't dare to blow it. The cleaning lady is very enthusiastic and will say hello to you. I hope that the hair dryer will be good next time. The shampoo and shower gel will smell better. It would be better if the breakfast was hotter. The little girl who got up late is broken. recommend! Will come again hehe

OOllie lukThe view from the lodge is great, and the hospitality was top. The owners were sweet friendly and attentive. During the stay we ate in the lodge all the time. It's cozy family food. It has a decent coffee machine in the common area. I love the laissez faire ambience.
We came here for an ultra trail running race. The hotel certainly tried to accommodate us the best they could.

DD. VerweijZen Garden was our most remote hotel during our China tour. The location is undeniably beautiful, offering stunning views of the hills and mountains.
However, despite receiving an upgrade after the first night, we found the price-quality ratio unsatisfactory. We paid the same amount for our stay in a five-star hotel the following day in Nanjing, which provided a significantly better room and breakfast.
Since its opening in 2017, the hotel appears to have undergone little to no maintenance. There is noticeable wear and tear on the building, and the toilet emitted a strong sewage odor, which was quite unpleasant.
Communication was a challenge as Cindy was the only staff member who spoke English properly. When she wasn't available, it was difficult to communicate in person. Fortunately, the WeChat communication was an excellent alternative and made things easier.
On a positive note, the afternoon tea and dinner were quite good, offering healthy and fresh options.
Breakfast was very limited and none Western options except an egg and white toast with butter.
The complimentary zen shoot was a nice touch, although it was apparent that it was the photographer's first time conducting such a shoot.
We were particularly disappointed with the spa. The treatments were much different than expected, lacking the luxury and expertise typically associated with such high prices. Additionally, the cost for two people was almost the same as the room rate, which we found unreasonable.
Overall, while Zen Garden's location and some amenities were enjoyable, the lack of maintenance, high prices, and communication difficulties detracted from our experience. With all the new buildings in the same area, there are better options.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at 聚龙小镇, and it was everything I hoped for and more! From the moment I arrived, the beautiful surroundings and luxurious ambiance set the tone for an unforgettable experience.
The resort is located in a stunning area, surrounded by mountains. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and it truly felt like a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. My room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and offered a fantastic view of the mountains. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I loved the hot tub.
One of the highlights of my stay was the wide range of activities and amenities available. There is free photography offered and everyday high tea and supper, there was always something to do.
Dining at 聚龙小镇was also exceptional. The on-site restaurants offered a variety of delicious options. The staff was incredibly attentive, making sure dinner was a memorable experience. I particularly enjoyed the fish and chicken.
What truly made this stay special, however, was the exceptional service. Every staff member went out of their way to ensure that my needs were met and that I felt pampered throughout my visit. From the concierge who helped me plan excursions to the housekeeping team who kept my room spotless, the level of service was top-notch.
Overall, my stay at 聚龙小镇exceeded all expectations, and I can’t wait to return. Whether you’re looking for relaxation, adventure, or simply a luxurious getaway, this resort offers it all. Highly recommend!

SShangVery friendly family ran hotel. The greatest advantage is its location, which is only a few mins walk from one of the viewing platforms. The room are well maintained and clean. We booked the sunrise view room and the balcony looked like a painting. Logistically, you need to take the village tourist shuttle to get here from the Ping’an Village parking lot because it’s located within the protected area. You must let the ticket vendor know the name of your hotel so they drop you off at the right one (there are multiple hotels inside the protected area)
This hotel is also about a 30 min walk from another viewing platform, which I would recommend doing if you have the time, as the walk was mostly flat and the scenery along the way was very nice as well.
Breakfast is quite typical of the area and the dinner was also quite nice. Overall would stay here again!

The rice wine is iced and tastes great. Before leaving, the boss also sent Luo Hanguo souvenirs. The fried noodles and soup noodles for breakfast are also very recommended. The room is also very clean, the location of the terraces is also very good, you can see the terraces when you open the curtains, and the sunrise view in the room is very beautiful. Have the opportunity to come to Longji Terraces again, and will come to the store again.

The spacious rooms are comfortable, ensuring a restful night after a day of exploring. Whether it is the faintness of the sea of clouds surrounding the mountain in the morning or the evening glowing and tender, or the stars at night, it brings a sense of peace and tranquility: two ears do not hear the world, and the edge is in this village; In the morning, you can go up and down the stone road, while enjoying the beautiful scenery around you, you can also go to the mountain tea room to have a cup of good tea; in the afternoon, continue to climb, sit in the pavilion at the top, overlook the whole village, and then shout out the inner poetry and distance to the mountains; At night, make a wish to the stars (the heart fire to the stars, the wish is true). Here, you can completely empty, live a few days of pastoral life, lamenting that the paradise is real.

The staff went out of their way to help us organize trips to various locations, making our stay even more enjoyable. The free transfer service offered by the hotel was a great convenience and made our arrival and departure stress-free. The staff members were friendly, knowledgeable, and always available to assist with any questions or concerns. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at this hotel and would highly recommend it to others.

MMooMooooWhat can I say.... AMAZING!! We stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed both nights!! From when we first check in, the lady who checked us in, helped us with our suitcase and they are big one too! (note there is no elevator). To the lady that work at night and cook our yummy breakfast in the morning, thank you! We are both vegetarian, so she was always checking to make sure we can eat it. She was super friendly, talk to us and tell us what is nice to explore/play, and make sure we have enough food to eat! On the last day when we have to check out early as we have to catch the Li River Cruise, she make sure we have food to eat and that we can bring on the boat to eat as well. She was very thoughtful!
The location is over the bridge about a 10 mins walk to ZhengYang Pedestrian Street. I prefer here as it more quieter rather than on the main street. Furthermore, it not that far, with only a 10 mins walk along the river and you will reach most places.
I also loved the decor in the hotel as well, it has everything you need. They provided free snack, and we did try some too!! Good to try local snacks which we did end up buying when we saw it lol. You could also go up to the roof top, which will provide a 360 view, especially the view looking out to the Li River on a nice fine day is so worth it!
Lastly, my mum left some of her belonging in the hotel and forgot to pack when we check out. They courier this to our next hotel in Yangshou, which is very thoughtful of them. Overall, I would definitely recommend anyone wanting to stay here.
