AaprilsafariVery good core location, no noise. The room is high, the design is reasonable, with a separate bathroom, dry and wet separation. There is a cabinet with a door card lock in the room, which is very safe. The front desk helped us arrange a room with a girl in the absence of a girl's dormitory according to our requirements. The garden is great too, everything is fine anyway! Highly recommended.

정정원투The hostel is huge, so if you pick a room far from the elevator, it's going to be a really long walk. I recommend choosing a room closer to it. There were lots of murals in the hallway, which was cool. Everything else was fine, but the radiator wasn't working. When I asked the front desk, they said it was too late to change rooms and they didn't know how to operate it, so I ended up sleeping in my puffer jacket.

However, I experienced some issues during my stay. Firstly, there were unpleasant smells in the bathroom, which was quite off-putting. Additionally, I was disappointed to find out that no female rooms were provided. This became a concern for me as there were some uncomfortable encounters with male guests, making it potentially unsafe for solo female travelers. Fortunately, after switching to another room, the situation improved.
If you are looking for a hostel in Berlin, I believe there are better options available that would provide a safer and more comfortable stay.

Mmarti.greenI stayed at Generator Mitte in Berlin and overall the experience was okay, but the room was far too small for four people — it felt really cramped. There were also no hairdryers available to use, which was inconvenient. On Saturday night there was a party in the hotel, and it was extremely loud; we couldn’t sleep until it was over. The location is great, but the comfort and noise levels definitely need improvement.

GGuest UserYou get what you paid for. The location is somewhat ok, you have to walk for 10-15mins from Central Station. I arrived late night and check-in was smooth. I was in a 8-bedder room, and it was actually quite spacious. They have some hook to hang your jacket, some rack for you to put your backpack underneath the bed. Nothing fancy, so only choose if you're looking for a place just to sleep. Other than that, they also have a common area where you can sit. You might also need to pay extra for luggage storage and towel.

It's a large hostel, so I think it would be difficult if the toilet and bathroom were in a far room. This is also luck.

Nice vibe. Spacious common area to meet fellow travellers. Desks for working. Kitchen had some hot plates.

GGuest UserThey provided a late check-in which was super convenient. The room was quite cosy and the bed could be small for a huge person (bunk-bed in a 4 person dormitory). For me, it was perfect for a few hours of sleep.
The bathrooms and washrooms are shared and accessible separately outside the rooms. Very clean and comfortable stalls for a nice shower.
The breakfast didn't have a lot of vegetarian options and it was a small spread, but enough for a quick bite in the morning.
The staff is all helpful and friendly. Overall a good stay for a short time and on a budget.
The location was also very convenient to reach from the S bahn and tram station.

PPraveen_I stayed there myself in a 4 bed dormitory room. It was an excellent room and I liked the service. But it is better to have a socket near the bed for charging. They have two usb charging ports near every beds but it is better to have a c port or a charging socket. But overall, I liked it. Especially the staffs are always helpful. I am highly recommend it to whom who are looking for a cheap accommodation😊
