Premier Hotel Nakajima Park Sapporo
"An older hotel located right next to Sapporo Nakajima Park. It's quite close to the city center, about a 10-minute walk to Susukino, making it very convenient for dining and entertainment. A plus is that the rooms are quite spacious, and the breakfast is decent. It's also just a 5-minute walk to the subway station, so transportation is good."
Portom International Hokkaido
A luxury airport-adjacent hotel featuring refined interiors, art-inspired design, and a calm, premium stay experience.
Courtyard by Marriott Sapporo
A modern international hotel offering stylish rooms and a convenient base near central Sapporo attractions.
Keio Plaza Hotel Sapporo
"The room was quite clean and tidy, though not very spacious. The location was convenient, within a ten-minute walk from Sapporo Station and Daimaru. There are also plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area. The breakfasts on both the first and twenty-second floors were noteworthy and worth trying separately. If you're heading to the airport in the morning, you can catch the airport bus right next to the hotel. Overall, it was a good stay."
Hotel Sapporo Sun Plaza
"The room is quite big for the same type, and the view outside is also good. It is surrounded by a small shopping district, which is very convenient for eating and close to the subway station. The cleaning is very careful."
Jozankei View Hotel
"The buffet spread was good and nice onsen spa. However, the onsen is does not allow customers with Tattoos."
Jozankei Manseikaku Hotel Milione
"the location is quite convenient and it is great to take the hotel shuttle bus from the Sapporo station."
Hotel Monterey Edelhof Sapporo
"Good hotel in this budget. Location is very convenient. You have to pay extra for the parking. Staff can be more courteous in general though we don’t have any specific issue."
Jr Inn Sapporo Kita 2 Jo
"We stayed for three consecutive nights, and everything was fine until checkout. The lady at the front desk was very patient during check-in! However, at checkout, the front desk called twice before 10 AM. My partner was in the bathroom, and I was packing. As foreigners, we don't understand Japanese at all, so we didn't pick up the phone. Even if we had, we wouldn't have understood anything, which would have been awkward, right? We saw the checkout policy that states an extra 1000 JPY per hour for late checkouts after 10 AM. We just assumed we'd pay the late fee, so we weren't in a hurry and didn't answer the calls. To our surprise, when we went down to check out, the male receptionist had a terrible attitude! He immediately put on a sour face and used a translator to question why we didn't answer the two calls. As a guest, don't I have the right to answer or not? Do you need to interrogate me like that, as if he thought we'd argue and not pay, or like we owed him money? My boyfriend then told him we would pay the late fee, and his attitude immediately did a 180-degree turn. It was truly speechless. I was originally going to leave a good review, but because of this male receptionist, I don't even want to give two stars."
Cross Hotel Sapporo
"Nice modern, clean, comfortable room. Just a little far from main shopping area but near clock tower."
Hotel Keihan Sapporo
"The location is excellent. From Sapporo Station, take the West Exit and walk west past one intersection, and you'll see a FamilyMart. The hotel is located in the alley behind the convenience store. Alternatively, you can use the underground passage and exit from behind Daimaru Department Store. Both Hokkaido University and the Sapporo City Hall are within walking distance, and Hokkaido University is truly beautiful. Dining options around the hotel are convenient. There's a McDonald's at the intersection, as well as yakiniku and ramen restaurants. Daimaru Department Store closes at 8 PM. In Hokkaido, many restaurants close early, except for izakayas and convenience stores, so be mindful of dinner times. Even at New Chitose Airport, most places stop taking customers by 8:30 PM. The communal bath on the second floor is free to use; you just need to pick up a ticket from the front desk daily. The breakfast can be a bit repetitive as it's the same every day, but it features Hokkaido specialties like curry and miso ramen. For lunch, you can try the famous Hokkaido soup curry at the corner, it's absolutely delicious. For convenience stores, FamilyMart is the closest, just a few dozen meters away. There are also other FamilyMarts and 7-Elevens behind the hotel, some of which offer tax-free shopping. The room is a bit small. The shower head and hairdryer are both Refa brand. On the first floor, you can help yourself to coffee powder and tea bags, and umbrellas and chargers are available for borrowing. The laundry room and microwave on the second floor are very convenient. The origami dinosaurs at the Hokkaido University Museum are really cute. And there's ice cream everywhere. The curry in the photo is from the restaurant next to the hotel; I recommend giving it a try."
Smile Hotel Premium Sapporo Susukino
"One of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in Japan. Just be very very careful in pinning the map. We were brought miles away from Sapporo in the middle night and nowhere to seek help. We reached the hotel at dawn already, tired and weak, scared. It was a terrible experience but the hotel is good. We got no help from the staff. The view from the hotel is perfect. Everything is nearby the hotel."
THE GATE HOTEL SAPPORO by HULIC
A stylish upscale hotel with refined interiors, strong design focus, and a central location near major city spots.
the b sapporo
"The location of this hotel is excellent, being so close to the Susukino Metro station. You can walk to Nikka Whisky in just 5 minutes and Ganso Sapporo Ramen Yokocho in 10 minutes. The hotel is brand new, modern, and very clean. They even provide homemade cookies for guests, which are delicious!"
Best Western Plus Hotel Fino Chitose
"Pretty basic hotel with limited car parking lots. Room was clean and comfortable. Services so so."
