*5/5 stars* I'm thoroughly impressed with our recent stay at this hotel! The cleanliness was top-notch - I mean, no dust on the windows? That's dedication! The staff's attention to detail was also impressive, with fresh towels delivered to our room every single day. We appreciated the ample supply of bath towels and face towels, too! The hotel's amenities were great, including the free coffee and tea in the pantry, which was a lovely touch. Ice is also free. We also appreciated being able to use the pantry to enjoy our takeout. The elevator was speedy, and the Sapporo TV tower view from our room was a highlight for the kids! The location was perfect, with Odori Station just steps away and an amazing miso ramen shop right beside the hotel. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the heated toilet seat was a nice touch. The air conditioner was quiet, which was a bonus. However, there were a few areas for improvement. The room wasn't cleaned daily, and the lighting could be brighter. The laundry soap in the washing machine didn't leave a pleasant scent on our clothes - it actually made them smell a bit off. We appreciated being able to check the washing machine timer on the TV, though. Despite these minor issues, we'd still recommend this hotel to others. The positives far outweigh the negatives, and we'd definitely consider staying here again. The bottled water was a nice touch, but we would've appreciated a few more bottles. *Pros:* - Impeccable cleanliness - Friendly and attentive staff - Great location - Free ice, coffee and tea - Heated toilet seat - Quiet air conditioner - Sapporo TV tower view *Cons:* - Room not cleaned daily - Lighting could be brighter - Laundry soap left clothes smelling unpleasant Overall, a great stay in Sapporo!

We stayed in a nice big family room for 4 which actually can accommodate 6 guests. Recommend for bigger families. The view from our room is amazing during a clear snowy morning… but the Sapporo experience is even better during a snowy winter night! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to be close to Susukino, Odori Park and Tanukikoji Shopping Street. Everything is close by but not too crowded and noisy. 👍👍👍

great and convenient location. Close to department stores such as Parco and close to 狸小路where shops and restaurants are. We have a room for 5. Rare to find family rooms that can house so many in one room. Clean. Onsen is nice. There are also ice-cream sticks at onsen changing area. Overall, a very nice place to stay

This is the best hotel in sapporo and really close to subway. Room is super clean and receptionist speak english super nice. They’re really professional. I came here during winter season and view was amazing. I will book this hotel again when I come to sapporo! Another good experience, i could said that the room is smell good compared to others hotel in sapporo, im quite sensitive with smell 😅 but they room is nice and clean and quite big.

It’s very easy to access from the shopping street. The morning buffet breakfast was excellent — there were so many items that I couldn’t even try everything! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere made my stay relaxing. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area.

The staff are friendly, professional, and always ready to help, which makes guests feel genuinely welcomed from the moment they arrive. We booked a corner suite and were delighted to be assigned a high-level room with a fantastic view, which made the stay even more memorable. Location is another strong point. The hotel is conveniently situated near Sapporo Station, making it easy to get around the city. Major shopping destinations such as Stellar Place, Daimaru, and other large malls are all within easy reach, perfect for dining and shopping. One thing to note for travelers who are driving: although parking is available at the hotel, there is a daily parking fee for hotel guests. This is worth factoring into your plans if you intend to rent a car. Overall, Sapporo Hotel by Granbell is an excellent choice for travelers seeking a modern, well-located hotel with friendly service and high-quality rooms.
