Additional review Pros: Location 1. Convenient transportation: After arriving at New Chitose Airport, take the JR train. Exit Sapporo South Exit on the first floor to the plaza, then turn right across the street to reach the hotel. You can also take the underground shopping street APIA, but you'll need to go up about ten steps as we couldn't find an accessible elevator. If you have luggage, it's more convenient to walk above ground. If you're taking the bus, there's a stop nearby, about 200 meters away. When we arrived, the adjacent block was under construction, and the ground was uneven, making it very inconvenient to push luggage. Under normal circumstances, it would be fine. However, the airport bus stop is right below the hotel, which is very convenient. Be sure to check the schedule; we saw many people queuing over two days, so it's likely you won't make it on the spot and might need to wait for the next bus. 2. Convenient for shopping and dining: Daimaru is opposite the hotel, Stella is next to Daimaru, and Tokyu is diagonally opposite Stella. You can see them all from the South Exit Plaza. The entrance to the underground shopping street APIA is right outside the hotel (via stairs), but we recommend taking the elevator down to B1 for direct access to APIA, which is extremely convenient on rainy days. The underground street directly connects to all nearby shopping malls and the JR station. The underground street itself has food and shopping. For dining, just follow the local office workers in line for authentic local flavors (be warned, some local ramen shops are incredibly salty, choose carefully). There are also plenty of restaurants nearby, but not many drugstores. The scattered two or three stores are small, suitable for restocking but not for major shopping. 3. Abundant and surprising breakfast: We entered and exited Sapporo, and compared to other options, this hotel's buffet breakfast had a wide variety and good quality. The seafood options for the DIY seafood bowl were also plentiful and replenished promptly. Friends who like a rich breakfast should not be disappointed. Besides the obvious advantages above, here are a few points to consider when choosing this hotel: 1. The front desk is on the 7th floor, with two direct elevators that require a key card. You might have to wait during peak hours, and their speed is average. 2. During check-in, the front desk insisted that everyone register via machine, but the system was cumbersome and prone to bugs. When we registered, there were a total of three machines and four groups of guests, including locals. Everyone eventually needed human assistance. The front desk staff started with smiles, but by the end, I felt it was good that they maintained their politeness. I wonder what the management is thinking; there are quite a few front desk staff, why add to everyone's burden? 3. The room size is normally small. The hallway and lobby are relatively new, while the rooms are slightly dated but acceptably clean. 4. The price is slightly higher than the surrounding area (this price difference is acceptable if you prioritize convenient transportation and shopping).

The location is great, right next to Tanukikoji, and it's just a few minutes' walk to Don Quijote. Facilities: There's a hot spring, but I didn't get a chance to use it. There's also a self-service laundry, but it only accepts coins, no electronic payments. Cleanliness: It was very clean and tidy; I had a comfortable stay. Service: We arrived at the hotel at 2 PM and were told we could store our luggage first, but check-in wasn't until after 3 PM. We dropped off our bags and went out to explore. We came back after dinner to pick up our room key.

房間超大，有室內浸浴，景觀一流，設施齊備，若住Executive Suit,可以免費享用lounge 內小食和飲品，酒也是無限飲用。自助餐食物美味，款式多。娛樂設施有驚喜，有乒乓球打，有夾公仔機，可以打機，是迷利版的Gigo。商店購物種類多，有好小朋友玩具賣。露天風呂看到雪山景，體驗到一邊浸温泉，一邊大風雪吹在面上。就算不是露天，室內的風呂也有好美的雪山景觀看。有穿梭巴士送到札幌，非常好。雖然房價不便宜，但物有所值。

Extremely close to JR Sapporo Station, and walkable to Tanukikoji, with an underground passage which is super convenient if it rains. The hotel design is very minimalist and elegant, and the staff are excellent; English communication was seamless. They also provide daily skincare samples and disposable chopsticks. The hygiene is good too, it's just that they assigned me a room at the end of the hall.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and nice, and they were even kind enough to offer me a late check-out at 1:00 PM, which I really appreciated. The room was spacious, the public bath was a great feature, and the self-service luggage storage was very convenient. the hotel is a bit of a walk from the metro, it is near a bus stop for the airport limousine. The breakfast variety was a bit more limited compared to other hotels I have visited. Overall, the hospitality made for a wonderful experience.

I had a very pleasant stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel Sapporo. The hotel is conveniently located near Sapporo Station, making it very easy to get around, especially with luggage. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay, which made the experience even better. Check-in and check-out were smooth. Overall, it was a good stay and I would consider coming back again on my next trip to Sapporo.

Fantastic hotel! Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, and there was a slight variation in the breakfast options over the two days. The room was incredibly spacious, with plenty of space to open multiple suitcases. The view was great, you could even see the Ferris wheel. Plus, it's just a few minutes' walk from the subway station.

We stayed for 2 nights, and had a pleasant stay. The hotel is 3 mins walk to Susukino and 5 mins walk to 狸小路 with many convenient stores and restaurants around. The front desk staff helped us to check in with the check in machine and the process was fast. We like the beds and room size, and the free flow of Haskap juice throughout afternoon and evening. The drawbacks are the front desk staff have limited English and didn’t understand our request to have a cleanup in our room as we were sleeping late and missed morning cleanup. The nearest airport shuttle bus stop across from hotel abest Sapporo is 4 blocks away and we have to take a taxi around 950yen with luggages to get there in the slushy snow. There are many Thai tourists in both evenings when we went back to hotel so the hotel is quite popular and crowded. Nevertheless the hotel was able to give us a high floor room away from elevators per our request and we had a quiet room which we appreciate a lot. Will definitely consider staying again given the hotel room is a good price!

Everything exceeded my expectations, it was fantastic. The food selection was incredibly rich and delicious. The views were first-class. The room was large, and although it showed its age, you could still appreciate its former glory. There were three hot springs, and I absolutely loved the outdoor one; submerging my body in the warm spring water while my head felt cool and clear was so refreshing. Highly recommended. Bed is rock hard. After 4 nights, I have serious back ache, plus I'm lacking in sleep, due to how hard and uncomfortable the bed was. The pool facility wasn't fully open (it only does so in August). The last week in July at least opens the some of the outside area for use, but it doesn't fully open until August. They'd also made the 25m outside pool a wipeout/ninja obstacle course so, if you want to actually swim [do some lengths etc] then the only place you can do this was initially only open in August and even then it is now taken over by an obstacle. The indoor sections are open all year round. You have to pay extra to access the slides - not too crazy at 500 or 600yen depending on the day for unlimited access (you're given a wristband). Breakfast was ok. Wide variety of foods - some of which I wouldn't normally associate with breakfast, but still nice to have choices. Signage claims it gets busy after 8am. This is definitely not true - it's busy when it first opens at 7am and then slowly gets quieter over the 7~10 opening times (last entry at 9:30). Can't speak about weekends tho. Shuttle bus is busiest at the 5pm time slot. Overall, a ”resort” that claims to be 4 stars it most certainly isn't. 2 stars yes. 2.5 maybe. But the whole place just feels quite dated and far from the luxury expected from a ”4 star hotel”. Apart from the bed as I've already mentioned, the room was a good enough size but all the decor and controls were old. The Aircon control was worn and glitchy (button presses would turn it off etc) but at least it worked and made the room the temp we wanted. The lighting panel has had so many changes there are stickers on it to blank out buttons which no longer function - fair enough, but maybe spend a bit of money on a decent upgrade??? This hotel isn't cheap!
