"This is my second time staying at this hotel. It's located on the international side of the airport, which makes it incredibly convenient for catching a flight the next day, especially if you're staying your last night there. The hotel is also very comfortable and upscale. The outdoor facilities at the hotel's hot spring are excellent, and the rooms are spacious and fully equipped with smart home technology. The lighting is also great. Highly recommend!"

"I almost gave it a perfect score - gave location only a 4 because there is no subway station nearby. But there is a bus stop for both local buses and the airport limousine. The hotel has a vintage feel but it was clean and the service was really superb. We were given a comfortable room for the three of us. Breakfast options were the same everyday except for the soup. It would have been nice if there was a variety for the fruits and desserts."

"This was a truly wonderful hotel. Upon entering the lobby, I was immediately struck by the beautiful artwork, which gave it an international feel. Both the trainees and the experienced staff at the front desk were incredibly polite and had excellent service attitudes. The rooms, and indeed the entire hotel, were clean and quiet. Even the sound of doors opening and closing was hushed. You could feel the thoughtfulness in every detail. The breakfast menu was extensive, and every dish was elaborately prepared and delicious. I dined there several times, trying both Japanese and Western options, but I couldn't try everything! I considered posting photos, but I decided against it, wanting to leave some surprises for future guests! The spa was spacious and relaxing. While there are other hotels in Sapporo with large spas, I personally found Hotel Monterey Edelhof to be more relaxing and enjoyable. When I told my family about it after returning home, they were so envious! I definitely plan to stay here again with my family next time."

"No complimentary bottled water in the room. The deluxe standard room size was decent, and breakfast was okay. With the low yen exchange rate, prices are rising, and breakfast costs have quietly gone up. Plus, they've introduced a new accommodation tax this year. By the way, both times I've stayed, I've been given a room at the very end of the hall."

"The location is great, right next to Tanukikoji, and it's just a few minutes' walk to Don Quijote. Facilities: There's a hot spring, but I didn't get a chance to use it. There's also a self-service laundry, but it only accepts coins, no electronic payments. Cleanliness: It was very clean and tidy; I had a comfortable stay. Service: We arrived at the hotel at 2 PM and were told we could store our luggage first, but check-in wasn't until after 3 PM. We dropped off our bags and went out to explore. We came back after dinner to pick up our room key."

"We had a very pleasant stay here. The hotel is conveniently located next to the main train station, making it easy to travel in and out of the city. The property is clean, modern, and welcoming. The room is compact, as expected, but it was well designed and fit one large and one medium-sized suitcase. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There’s also a public bath, which was a nice way to unwind after a day of exploring, although it can get quite busy during peak hours. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and we slept well throughout our stay. The only drawback is that the hotel isn’t within walking distance of most of the city’s main attractions, so you’ll likely need to take public transport."

"We booked two rooms—one for my husband and me, and another for our daughter. Although the rooms were compact, they were clean, comfortable, and cozy. My daughter especially enjoyed wearing the hotel-provided pajamas (see photo). We also appreciated the convenient water refill station located on the same floor, close to our rooms. The hotel’s location was excellent, with the train station within easy walking distance. Getting to and from the airport was also very convenient, as the airport bus stop was located just downstairs from the hotel."

"The hotel's location is excellent. It's right by Odori Park, and the airport shuttle drops you off directly at the entrance. There's also a subway station nearby, and you can even walk to Tanukikoji shopping arcade. The front desk provides complimentary skincare sample sets based on the length of your stay, and you can pick up a wide variety of disposable toiletries from a station by the elevators on the first floor. The room itself was great overall – small but perfectly formed, with everything you need. One thing to note is that rooms aren't cleaned daily; it seems to be once every four nights, which the front desk will inform you about. For my three-night stay, there was no daily cleaning, but every morning before 10 AM, I could hang a fabric bag with my used towels and pajamas, as well as my trash, on the doorknob outside my room. Staff would then replace them with fresh ones on the door."

"A renowned 5 ⭐️ hotel conveniently connected to the Sapporo JR station within 10 mins straight stroll. The Daimaru shopping mall 🛒🛍️ is situated right above for tax free retail shopping. The hotel looked 👀 grand & posh, & bit pricey, probably because it coincided with the Sapporo Snow & Ice Festival ⛄️❄️🧊 which is within short walk to Odori Park. With special access to the Club floor privileges, we enjoyed additional pampering F&B indulgence 🍷🧀🦐 . The hotel room is big & spacious but the overall facilities & decor are a bit nostalgic. The service is good👌 Sadly not much nightlife in this area, in comparison to Susukino area which comes to life @ night with more oishi eateries & great shopping 🛒 🛍️"

"They say a skinny camel is still bigger than a horse! The Park Hotel is supposedly being torn down and rebuilt next year because it's quite old and worn out. However, this doesn't detract from its grandeur or excellent location. The hotel is superbly situated within Nakajima Park, surrounded by lush greenery, and boasts a magnificent and grand main entrance. The lobby is incredibly spacious and luxurious. There are many staff members, all smiling and politely greeting guests, always ready to offer a helping hand when needed. We stayed on the fifth floor. The elevators are very fast, and we rarely had to wait. It's about a ten-minute walk to Tanukikoji, Susukino, and Odori Park, which is very convenient. The room size was normal. The facilities were indeed a bit dated, but the cleanliness was excellent, and the service was prompt and orderly. It didn't affect our stay experience at all. It's a shame that we're witnessing the closing of what must have once been a magnificent grand hotel. But we hope that a brand new, luxurious hotel will rise in its place in the future! I intentionally didn't book breakfast when making the reservation. The outdoor parking lot outside the main entrance is quite spacious and easy to park in. However, the fee isn't cheap; we paid 2500 for the first night and 2000 for the second. You get a parking ticket upon entry and need to have it stamped at the front desk when leaving. Then, you show it to the parking attendant. We settled the total of 4500 with the attendant after two days. It's convenient, but a bit pricey."
