The hotel's location is excellent. It's right by Odori Park, and the airport shuttle drops you off directly at the entrance. There's also a subway station nearby, and you can even walk to Tanukikoji shopping arcade. The front desk provides complimentary skincare sample sets based on the length of your stay, and you can pick up a wide variety of disposable toiletries from a station by the elevators on the first floor. The room itself was great overall – small but perfectly formed, with everything you need. One thing to note is that rooms aren't cleaned daily; it seems to be once every four nights, which the front desk will inform you about. For my three-night stay, there was no daily cleaning, but every morning before 10 AM, I could hang a fabric bag with my used towels and pajamas, as well as my trash, on the doorknob outside my room. Staff would then replace them with fresh ones on the door.

I can’t recommend this hotel enough – it was one of the highlights of our Hokkaido trip! The free shuttle bus service to and from Sapporo Station (both ways) made everything so convenient. No need to worry about taxis or public transport after a long day – just hop on and relax. Super thoughtful and saved us a lot of hassle. The decoration is beautifully traditional Japanese style – think elegant tatami rooms, shoji screens, and that authentic ryokan vibe. It felt very calming and immersive right from check-in. The onsen is absolutely superb! The water quality is excellent, the facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the views (especially the outdoor bath) are stunning – so relaxing after exploring Sapporo or Jozankei area. One of the best onsen experiences I’ve had. Breakfast buffet was a real treat: fresh Hokkaido ingredients shine through, with amazing seafood (uni, salmon roe, sashimi-grade fish), local veggies, and high-quality dishes. Everything tasted super fresh and delicious – perfect way to start the day. They even offer free hot wine and sparkling wine service in the evenings – such a nice touch! We really enjoyed sipping while unwinding. Honestly, I can’t say enough good things. Great value, authentic atmosphere, top-notch onsen, and thoughtful extras. Highly recommended! 🌸♨️

We had an amazing stay at the Knot! The location was really convenient as it is located right on top of an underground mall called Pole Town. A Seicomart is right beside the level 1 entrance as well. The famous shopping street is like a 2-3mins walk from the lobby. The rooms were nice and the lobby has a really nice lavender scent. Amari, the hotel staff, was really friendly and accommodating! She gave me sample of the hotel aroma when I asked about the nice scent in the lobby. Susukino station is also accessible underneath this hotel. Overall, we had a comfortable stay at The Knot. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Sapporo. 👍

The room was quite spacious, especially for a Japanese hotel – definitely one of the largest I've stayed in. The location is excellent; it's just a short walk to Nijo Market, the large supermarket in Susukino, Tanukikoji shopping street, and major shopping malls. There are tons of restaurants around the hotel, so you can pretty much find anything you're craving. The hotel breakfast is good, and if you love sashimi, you'll absolutely adore what they offer. If I go to Sapporo again, I'll definitely choose this hotel.

This hotel is great! The location is convenient, just a short walk to major attractions, which saves a lot of time whether you're taking a taxi or running errands. Overall, I think the environment is pretty good, but I did notice one small issue: there was quite a bit of dust on the clothes hangers in the room, which needs attention. Other areas seemed mostly fine, and it wasn't too uncomfortable to stay there. What I liked most was the breakfast; there was a wide variety of items. While there weren't many Western breakfast options, what they had was delicious.

This hotel is absolutely amazing! The location is a godsend for busy travelers. You exit the JR East ticket gate, walk through a passage with Muji ads directly in front of you, then see a 7-Eleven. Cross the road and it's just 20 meters away. The facilities are also perfect. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation, and the bath and shower are combined, which is great for a family of three as everyone can get what they need without wasting time! My only complaint is that when we arrived late on the first night, despite booking for three people, there were only two pillows. My child's amenities were also completely missing. The front desk staff only spoke Japanese, so I had to go up and down multiple times to sort it out. Given that Japanese hotels charge per person, essential items shouldn't be missing. There were only three self-service washing machines, and one was out of order. So, it felt like there were hardly any available. Other points: The room was cleaned daily, there's an ice machine, and a communal space where you can bring food to eat, as long as you sort your trash. This is much more thoughtful than eating in a cramped room and a really great feature!

Had a great stay here! The bathroom and hallways are incredibly clean and well-maintained. The room itself is comfortable and comes with a small table and chair, which is very convenient. Downstairs in the lobby, they provide an amenity bar where you can pick up extra toiletries to take up to your room. There is also a Lawson convenience store right next to the hotel, making it super handy for quick snacks and drinks. As for parking, the hotel's own parking lot has very limited spaces, but don't worry—there are plenty of public parking lots available right around the area. Highly recommended for a convenient and clean stay in Susukino!

The hotel was in a good location near subway Toho line exit 21 or opposite street exit 24 with elevator access. Check in process really simple using the machine with passport scanner and room card issued for each person. Staff greeted us nicely and explained the room cleaning schedule (once every 3 day is must and optional (eco cleaning) for other days.). You can get all amenity from the front desk including pajamas. Hotel was standard chain hotel with normal size Japanese Room fit enough with 2 people with limited space for luggage repack. Luggage can be stored under bed so no worries about luggage space. There is a lack of a small table for the bed side but we just slightly pull out the mini fridge as a small table. Bed was hard but we prefer that way. Free breakfast provided everyday during the stay on lobby from 0630 to 0930. Menu slightly change daily but consistently with rice, bread, yogurt and tea rice. Breakfast drink have hot tea, yogurt drink (Hokkaido milk yogurt drink. Highly recommend) and fruit drink. Coffee machine served from 0600 to 0000 daily. Vending machine for drink available at lobby but we prefer go to nearby seicomart to buy stuff. Microwave also available on lobby. Overall I will rate as 7/10 , better than average and best cost per stay if you use city subway alot

It is about a five to seven minute walk from Susukino Subway Station, giving easy access to other parts of Sapporo, including Odori Park and Sapporo Station. The surrounding area is filled with restaurants, ramen shops, convenience stores, cafes, and nightlife spots, so finding something to eat at any hour is never a problem. Despite being in a lively neighborhood, the hotel itself feels calm and secure once inside. The room was compact, as expected for a Japanese city hotel, but it was thoughtfully designed to maximize space. I stayed in a standard room, which had a comfortable bed, a small desk, a flat-screen television, a refrigerator, an electric kettle, and air conditioning. There was enough space to open a medium-sized suitcase, although travelers with very large luggage might find it slightly tight. The bathroom was clean and functional, with a combined bathtub and shower unit, along with basic toiletries provided. Water pressure was good, and hot water was consistent, which was especially appreciated during the colder Hokkaido weather. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was satisfactory. Housekeeping maintained the room well, and the common areas such as the lobby and hallways were tidy. The staff members were polite and professional, and while not all were fluent in English, communication was smooth and efficient. Check-in and check-out processes were straightforward and quick. One highlight of the stay was the breakfast buffet, which featured a mix of Japanese and Western options. There were rice dishes, miso soup, grilled fish, salads, bread, eggs, and several local Hokkaido ingredients. It was a convenient way to start the day, especially before heading out for sightseeing. The hotel also offers practical amenities such as free Wi-Fi, coin-operated laundry machines, vending machines, and luggage storage services. These facilities make it especially suitable for mid-length stays or travelers moving between cities. Overall, Hotel Mystays Sapporo Susukino delivers solid value for money. While it is not a luxury property, it provides comfort, cleanliness, and a prime location at a reasonable price. I would recommend it to solo travelers, couples, or friends looking for an affordable and well-located hotel in Sapporo.

The hotel's location and amenities are absolutely perfect. Just a short walk downstairs and you're right in the bustling area, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The hotel's internal hygiene management is also very good, with both public areas and rooms being very clean. However, like most Japanese business hotels, the room space is relatively compact. If you're traveling with multiple large 29-inch suitcases, opening them in the room might be a bit of a squeeze. Additionally, the Wi-Fi signal in some corners can be a bit slow during peak hours. Nevertheless, if you're just looking for a clean, well-located, and affordable place to sleep and bathe, this is still a highly recommendable and perfectly suitable choice. The breakfast and tableware are exquisite.
