"This hotel is truly excellent. Its location is very convenient, just a short walk from the train station. One of the highlights is the complimentary welcome drinks available throughout the day, which adds a nice touch to the overall experience. The breakfast is also incredibly premium, with high-quality options across the board. Honestly, almost everything about this hotel is great. The only downside is that the room is quite small, making it a bit difficult to fully open a suitcase. If I have the chance to visit Sapporo again, this hotel will definitely be my first choice."

"Perfect location—super convenient! It’s only a 1–3 minute walk to Susukino and Hosui‑Susukino subway stations, Tanukikoji Shopping Street, the airport bus stop, and the bus to Sapporo Station. The hotel has a traditional style and offers a reasonable price, plus free breakfast, which is a nice bonus. The staff are polite, and although the room is quite small, it has everything you need. The outside view faces an alleyway, so there isn’t much natural light, but it wasn’t a big issue for us. You can store your baggage in the lockers, which is very convenient. Do note that there may be some noise from outside the room. Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay!"

"Clean and tidy. Convenient transportation, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. It's a quiet spot despite being centrally located. Even without taking the JR, the airport bus stop is very close for both arrival and departure, just an 8-minute walk away."

"The basics of all city hotels - location, location, location..... !!! And Hotel Stream is smacked in the heart of everything Sapporo has to offer unless you prefer a quieter and calmer spot then this hotel is NOT for you. Rooms are pretty standard in terms of size and amenities, it's, quiet, and great for city strolling. If your intention is to use this hotel as your base to do day trips to Furano & Biei, The Hill of the Buddha Moai, or the renowned Otaru (which unfortunately isn't that muchl unless you're a die hard music box & glass making fan) this is your BEST CHOICE until Hyatt House opens in Oct 2026 (a bird told me - for those Globalist out there) . Oh... a BIG tip by the way (if you've been reading till this point: request for a room with a direct view of the Sapporo's ferries wheel (not that I am a fan lol) or the view of the Nikka advertisement on my attached photo - they are worth it. It's amazing to sleep with such stunning view and wake up to one..... (check out my photos taken from my room) In case you wonder if that pic of me by the glass overlooking thr Nikka ad sign - that's the main breakfast restaurant where you will be having your daily breakfast but u have to get there early to book that seat, otherwise sit through breakfast till they close and then u get to take this photo for as long as you please...... Ok ok ok... i know I'm a little long winded. But hey... oh yeah... u need to know that you can take a limousine bus from CTS (Chitose International Airport) to Susukino which takes about 50mins on way for JPY1500 per person. Easy weasy and the from the bus stop in susukino where most will disembark - it's only a 5min walk to Hotel Stream which ISN'T that obvious as the hotel sign is NOT exactly on the building. You have to look out for a building that reads ”Coco-something” (ops forgotten the name of the building) and the hotel lobby is located on the 7th floor of that building which also house a shopping center, movie theater and numerous restaurants. If you're srill reading this - give me a like already and don't be stingy with that click will ya? Lol. Up next - I'll bee reviewing my hotel in Noboribetsu, Lake Toya, Hakodate and eventually Waldorf Astoria Osaka. Watch out for my space k. "A very comfortable stay and one I would happily return to on a future trip to Sapporo. The room was spacious by Japanese hotel standards, well maintained, and had a grand feel without being overly luxurious. After long days of sightseeing, it was a pleasant place to return to and rest. The location is excellent, within walking distance of Sapporo Station while still being quiet and convenient. What really stood out was the practicality of the hotel. The airport limousine bus stops here, making arrivals and departures very easy. There are also luggage lockers available, and Yamato luggage delivery services can be arranged from the hotel. A small tip: if you're planning to use Yamato luggage delivery, do take note of the cut-off times and delivery schedules, as they may affect your travel plans. Overall, a comfortable, convenient, and reliable base for exploring Sapporo and the surrounding areas. I would definitely stay here again by next week."

"This hotel is incredibly close to the Odori subway station exits, with various lines nearby, just a 2-3 minute walk away. If you're someone who doesn't want to drag your luggage far, this place is perfect! And the biggest plus? There's an airport bus stop right in front of the hotel with direct service to New Chitose Airport 🚌. No need to squeeze onto the subway on your way back – it's a lifesaver for those with big luggage! It's also about a 6-8 minute walk to PARCO and Tanukikoji, making shopping and dining super convenient."

"This hotel was absolutely wonderful! First off, the location is unbeatable – super close to Sapporo JR Station, which made it incredibly convenient for meeting up with day tours, heading to the airport, or taking the JR to Otaru. Walking to Odori Park wasn't far either. Secondly, the service was excellent. Although they stated cleaning would be done every three to four days, the staff actually came daily to empty the trash, make the bed, and replenish toiletries, which was incredibly convenient. Plus, there were complimentary mini packets of hand cream in the lobby, which was a lifesaver for hands that get chapped and dry in the cold weather. Finally, we were lucky enough to get a winning room key and received a gift – a truly unforgettable memory!"

"A renowned 5 ⭐️ hotel conveniently connected to the Sapporo JR station within 10 mins straight stroll. The Daimaru shopping mall 🛒🛍️ is situated right above for tax free retail shopping. The hotel looked 👀 grand & posh, & bit pricey, probably because it coincided with the Sapporo Snow & Ice Festival ⛄️❄️🧊 which is within short walk to Odori Park. With special access to the Club floor privileges, we enjoyed additional pampering F&B indulgence 🍷🧀🦐 . The hotel room is big & spacious but the overall facilities & decor are a bit nostalgic. The service is good👌 Sadly not much nightlife in this area, in comparison to Susukino area which comes to life @ night with more oishi eateries & great shopping 🛒 🛍️"

"This was our second stay at this hotel, and overall everything was very good. However, I would appreciate if the management could be a little more flexible regarding check-in timing and parking charges. We arrived at around 2:15pm, which was only about 45 minutes before the official check-in time of 3pm. We completely understood if the room was not yet ready and were perfectly happy to wait. We only asked whether we could park our car at the hotel car park first. Unfortunately, the front desk lady was quite unhelpful and insisted that if we parked before 3pm, we would need to pay the 24-hour parking rate of 1800 yen instead of the standard 1500 yen rate (3pm to 11am the next day). We even explained that we would be checking out before 9am the next morning. Since she was very firm on this, we decided to simply wait at the lobby instead. Interestingly, around 2:40pm, we noticed some Japanese guests arriving and checking in. Shortly after that, another very kind staff member approached us and informed us that our room was already ready and that we could proceed to check in and park our car. I genuinely try not to view situations through the lens of unfair treatment, but I do hope the management could sometimes exercise a little flexibility and discretion on a case-by-case basis, especially when guests are arriving only slightly earlier than the official check-in time."

"The room was very spacious for 3 people and 3 luggages. The view was stunning and the location is in between Susukino and Sapporo stations and also located just right next to the mall which has many restaurants and shopping stores. The metro is right in front of the hotel with MUJI and many local brands to shop from the underground mall. The Nijo Market is less than 10 minutes walk! At night there will be no staff so you need a keycard to get into the hotel front door which is great. The is a rooftop area where you can get very good pictures with the TV tower as well!"
