JJiaoxilaoshiThis is by far the best onsen hotel I've ever stayed in! It's located around Jozankei town, with a shuttle bus service from Sapporo, making it very private and quiet. The room is spacious enough, and the private onsen is excellent – my skin felt so smooth after a soak. The bedding was comfortable, and the pillows were quite high-tech. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a healing view of the snowy landscape, and if you're lucky, you might even spot a raccoon! The service was top-notch, patient and enthusiastic. I have to rave about the food at this hotel; the Italian dinner was incredible, every dish was superb, using seasonal local ingredients and beautifully presented. After dinner, you can even take some rice balls, desserts, and drinks back to your room. The hotel has a smoking room and vending machines, so you don't have to worry about going hungry. I'd love to come back again in the summer if I get the chance.

GGuest UserLoveee the breakfast spread !! It was awesome especially the melon and strawberry ice cream 😋 Love the fresh kale juice too! Even though we are Muslims we still had lots of options to eat !! Except for some dishes that had pork like the ramen and curry :( Overall the hotel was very good location wise and generally very clean. Will definitely stay again !!

GGuest UserThe hotel is short distance away from the major sightseeing spots at jozankei, but still walkable distance. That allows a tranquil and relaxing environment which you can truly enjoy the stay and immerse yourself into the nature. The resort is beautiful and room is super spacious. The buffet is wonderful. All the food are very fresh which make you feel very healthy. The onsen are nice. However, I found the temperature of outdoor bath too high. I feel recharged after the stay, both physically and mentally.

MMM00123This hotel, nestled in Nakajima Park, is truly perfect for families with kids. The area is so peaceful and safe. Right outside, there's a Lawson convenience store and an amazing BBQ restaurant (charcoal-grilled meat) – absolutely delicious! My child loved Nakajima Park so much, they didn't want to leave. It's ideal for a stroll with the little ones. If we weren't heading to Jozankei, I'd definitely want to stay here for a few more nights. The breakfast was also excellent, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered a beautiful view of the snowy park. After breakfast, a walk in the park was lovely, and there's even a popular cafe nearby. This is exactly what Hokkaido should feel like!

GGuest UserThis onsen hotel is definitely worth the price. The environment and hygiene are excellent, and the room layout is fantastic. The yukata was the most comfortable I wore during my Hokkaido trip. The service was absolutely superb, especially the proprietress at the Kaiseki restaurant, Shoan. She was incredibly elegant and generous, giving us an authentic and meticulous Japanese service experience. The private onsen with a fee had average views. The outdoor public onsen was closed on the day of my stay due to cold weather. The indoor onsen, for a hotel of this price point, was quite ordinary. Therefore, I wasn't entirely satisfied with the onsen experience. All in all, while it might not be exceptionally surprising, this is a hotel that's well worth its price.

獨行俠N560PURight outside the hotel there is a bus stop and access to the property is convenient (but I drive from Sapporo anyway). The room overall condition met expectation although I am quite disappointed that they only assign me to the second floor, and literally people from outside can see me if I don’t lower the blinds. There are 4 solo onsen rooms available for private use and it is recommended that the usage time stays at 40 mins. For the onsen, the public one is good although it is relatively small, and can be crowded sometimes. Overall, you come to Jozankei because you want to escape from the hustle and bustle and I enjoy my time there. But consider how much I pay for the room and board with virtually no view, there are plenty options out there that could get the most bang from the bucks. Verdict: Nice ambience but not worth for money

AAnonymous UserI stayed at this hotel for all three nights in Sapporo. The first night was just a layover, and I was in a long room next to the elevator, which was quite small. I couldn't fully open my luggage, which was a bit inconvenient. The hotel is conveniently located near Sapporo JR Station, a short walk of less than 10 minutes through Tokyu Department Store after exiting the JR station. There's a convenience store right downstairs where you can pay with Suica, WeChat Pay, or Alipay. There are two restaurants for breakfast: a Japanese one on B1 and a Western one on the 2nd floor. While the variety isn't huge, the quality is good. The fruits, roasted broccoli, and roasted carrots🥕 were our favorites. The rooms aren't large, but our king room for the last two nights was on the 19th floor with a great view. The bathroom was quite spacious. We had to move the small coffee table slightly to open our two 30-inch suitcases.

未来与远方The hotel's location near Shin-Osaka Station is incredibly convenient for buses, Shinkansen, and subways. It was a thoughtful touch that they offered free umbrellas downstairs on a rainy day, no registration needed. Plus, there are plenty of dining options right downstairs.

XXiaoboIf you're a Chinese tourist, don't set your expectations too high – it's just a basic hostel. Expect the lower floors to be equivalent to a 170-250 RMB standard in China, and even a 'premium' room shouldn't cost more than 400 RMB. The hallways are so narrow only one person can pass at a time, and there's no wardrobe in the room; clothes have to be hung on the hallway wall. You can't even lay your suitcase flat on the floor! I've never stayed in such a terrible room, and the pricing is incredibly unstable. I booked it for just over 1000 RMB, but after checking in, I found the price had dropped by more than 300 RMB. If you don't check the prices carefully, you'll get ripped off... Luckily, Trip.com customer service was great and refunded the difference! This hotel has no redeeming qualities. Although it's close to the subway station, there are definitely more cost-effective hotels nearby, all within walking distance.

WWushuaThe snow right outside the hotel was so thick and beautiful, it was incredibly soothing. The kids could literally play in it from the moment they woke up and never get bored. The hotel itself was good, clean, and the staff were polite and friendly. It's about a kilometer's walk from Tanukikoji, and we usually walked back and forth. Because the snow was so deep, the kids would play along the way, so it took us a bit longer, but we had a great time. For going to Otaru, you'd need to rent a car for the day. There are a few ski resorts not far from here, and you can take the JR directly. One time, we dragged our luggage and gear to go skiing, only to be told that the snow from the night before was too heavy, and they hadn't had time to clear the roads, so there was no transportation. We had to drag all our stuff back. So, skiing isn't something you can plan perfectly; you also need a bit of luck, or just stay directly at the ski resort. I'm planning to stay at a ski resort for a whole month next winter, skiing one day and hot springing the next!
