JiaoxilaoshiThis is by far the best onsen hotel I've ever stayed in! It's located around Jozankei town, with a shuttle bus service from Sapporo, making it very private and quiet. The room is spacious enough, and the private onsen is excellent – my skin felt so smooth after a soak. The bedding was comfortable, and the pillows were quite high-tech. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a healing view of the snowy landscape, and if you're lucky, you might even spot a raccoon! The service was top-notch, patient and enthusiastic. I have to rave about the food at this hotel; the Italian dinner was incredible, every dish was superb, using seasonal local ingredients and beautifully presented. After dinner, you can even take some rice balls, desserts, and drinks back to your room. The hotel has a smoking room and vending machines, so you don't have to worry about going hungry. I'd love to come back again in the summer if I get the chance.

Anonymous UserMy last stay here was in winter and it was great, but this time the air conditioning in the room was terrible. Even on the lowest setting, the room was still hot and stuffy. I had to use a fan all night to cool down and couldn't get a good rest for three consecutive days. Other amenities and services were decent, but the AC issue significantly lowered my comfort level. I definitely wouldn't recommend staying here in the summer.

XunzhaolongzhudejiqimaoThis was my third stay, and it seems the room has been renovated, which is great. The price is reasonable, offering excellent value for money. The breakfast, as always, was outstanding. The lobby even has a duty-free morning market selling huge scallops! The staff are all very friendly and speak fluent English. It's super close to JR Sapporo and Hokkaido University, and an easy walk to Tanukikoji. Highly recommend!

The room was large and clean, and the hot spring facilities were excellent with a huge space. Dinner offered a wide variety of dishes, including unlimited domestic Japanese wagyu beef grilled fresh on the spot. For the same amount of steak, I would pay 10,000 yen for just 6 small pieces at Hokkai-En Yakiniku in Niseko town. The pizzas were also made to order. They even poured champagne from a brand new bottle into clean glasses for us. And the price was very reasonable; I even wondered if there was a mistake in the bill, haha! 😄

The most comfortable bed I’ve ever had in a hotel.
We had some of the best sleep during our stay. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, with plenty of pillows and soft, high-quality linens. The room itself was spacious, quiet, and very well soundproofed, with lots of space to store luggage and personal items, plus many useful amenities.
The entire hotel has a modern, clean design and is kept in excellent condition. The staff were very kind, professional, and spoke English, which made everything easy. They even provided umbrellas free of charge when it rained, which was a thoughtful touch.
The hotel bar also deserves a mention. The service was excellent, the drinks were very good, and the parfaits were delicious. Since parfaits are very popular locally in Sapporo, I definitely recommend trying one here.
The location is convenient too: just a short walk from Susukino and the Sapporo city center, close to the station by a few metro stops, and easy to reach by taxi.
Overall, this Marriott was a real gem. Because of such a pleasant experience here, I’ll definitely consider staying at other Marriott Courtyard hotels in the future.

Anonymous UserThe room was clean and comfortable, although the water pressure in the bathroom was a bit low. However, it did have a small hot spring bath. The public hot springs had both indoor and outdoor options, and it wasn't too crowded when I went. There's a free lounge with various drinks, alcoholic beverages, and snacks you can enjoy freely. The included breakfast and dinner were also decent.

We’ve stayed here for 7 nights. Which was a bit longer stay for Sapporo. However as the weather was so bad with heavy snow, so we did enjoy our stays in hotel during the snowy weather. The breakfast is so great and we expect it every morning, as it includes a variety of foods so you always can find something to enjoy. All staffs are very friendly and welcoming, especially two male & senior chefs at ramen and omelette. We also bought spa in our room rate, so every night we did enjoy a pleasant spa( though it’s not hot spring). In front of hotel, there is a small mall - BIVI , which with some good restaurants ,nice cafe (Gentle Bagel) and coop. Even at the heavy snowing days, you have no worries to spend time in. B1 with very practical laundry service , costs are fairly . If you have budget, you can choose only room (without breakfast and spa) plans, which is with very CP, strongly recommended.

The room facing Nakajima Park would be incredibly cozy and relaxing, especially if the weather is good or it's snowing. It's about a six to seven-minute walk from the subway station, and exit 3 has an elevator. You can tell the room's decor is a bit dated, but it's very clean and has a luggage rack. The lounge on the first floor overlooks a garden. Overall, it's a great choice for a relaxing getaway.

For my trip to Sapporo, I chose to stay at the Prince Hotel. It's an older, established Japanese hotel with standard rooms that are typical of traditional Japanese hotel specifications. The location is convenient, situated at the end of Odori Park, and just a 400-meter walk from the subway station. The hotel also offers a shuttle bus service to Sapporo Station. From the hotel, it departs on the half-hour, but you need to book in advance at the front desk in the morning. From Sapporo Station, it departs on the hour, with the last bus at 7 PM. You can find it right next to the bus stop outside Sapporo Station, and the hotel's logo is on the bus. If you have a lot of luggage, you can also take the airport limousine bus directly from Sapporo Airport to the hotel entrance for 1500 JPY (cash per person), which is very convenient. However, for the return trip, there are only two buses to the airport daily, at 9:38 AM and 10:38 AM. We missed them on our way back, so we booked the hotel shuttle to Sapporo Station and took the JR train to the airport, which was also very easy! The hotel has a paid onsen (hot spring) on the second floor; guests can pay at the front desk to use it. We arrived back at the hotel too late each night to try it, but I'd definitely like to experience it next time!😆

Guest UserI had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Grand Mercure Sapporo. One of the highlights was definitely the lounge, which offered a wide variety of snacks and drinks throughout the day. It was well-stocked, nicely presented, and provided a great space to relax, whether for a quick refreshment or to spend some quiet time.
The overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm and soothing, making it an excellent place for rest and recovery. The environment felt peaceful, and everything was designed to help guests unwind. After a busy period of work, this stay served as the perfect break to recharge both physically and mentally.
I also appreciated how the hotel balanced comfort with convenience, creating a space where I could truly disconnect from work stress while still feeling well taken care of. This trip left me with very good memories, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway or even a short work break. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.
