Room is clean and tidy. Be sure to book the breakfast if available. It costs 3300Yen if pay separately at the hotel but the breakfast at the Northern Terrace is one of the best buffet breakfast I have ever tasted.

The hotel reminded me of New York City's Empire State Building with the Art Deco motif. It's an old classic look which I found to be very appealing. Location wise it's less than 10 minutes on foot from Sapporo station. There are a number of tourist, shopping, nightlife and restaurant spots all within walking distance. The view from the room was spectacular and everything was very clean. The breakfast, especially the waffle station, was delicious and offered a wide variety of western and Asian dishes.

This may be the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in during my time in Japan; the design is modern, the buffet is wonderful (although a little pricy) and the view of Odori park was great. I especially enjoyed the bath, as it was separate from the toilet, which is rare for smaller hotel rooms in this country. The staff were very kind and understanding, as I had asked for my luggage to be held until 3 pm but I didn’t retrieve it till much later with no issue. I stayed in the standard queen room and got more than I expected. Would recommend heartily!

It is a accommodation that renovated the place where it was originally 々 Pachinko store, but I didn't feel much leftover. Seven eleven is currently on the first floor, and shopping is convenient. The front desk is on the second floor, and if you press ↑ from the first floor to the elevator, the button on the second floor seems to be automatically pushed. The lounge and breakfast venue were also on the second floor and were wide 々. Automatic check-in check-out machine is also installed, and at the time of the stay, the inn was explained in the corresponding hall at the counter, but the out is a machine, and it is smooth if there is no additional adjustment. The room floor is 3 ~ 6 floor. Security is substantial, and when the card borrowed at check-in to the card reader in the elevator that has risen to the second floor, the button on the first basement floor with the large bath blinks Therefore, push it during that time. Cancel the other hotel to continue stay for total of 4 days. Due to lazy to move from each hotel to each hotel under the snow period. But regret it. Because I don’t feel welcome by the staffs at all. They not willing to go for extra mile to assist on storage luggage. Not willing to have more customers service with guests. Don’t think will return to this hotel again. It was good that the room was non-smoking, which is not common in Japan. The room was warm even if it was not heated separately and the cleaning was tidy throughout 3 nights. The front desk staff spoke English and was comfortable and comfortable with a variety of bathroom amenities. The hotel is fabulously clean, amenities are well chosen and of higher quality compared to business hotels of same price range. Location can be a little far from major stations but it was a pleasant walk from Sapporo Station without much difficulty finding the place. The service was excellent although check-In was done on a tablet mostly when the front clerk was right in front of me which was a shame as the person could have done the same. (It could be the hotel's initiative on digitalizing the guest info sheet that is a legal requirement for hotels to do, I do rather type on the tablet than writing on a sheet of paper as I have horribly illegible writing style)

The location is very good. Isolation is the tanuki path. The best way to go is Mitsukoshi. It's very close to Nijo Market. All very satisfied 👍🏻 Free coffee. deposit luggage. The room is clean, you can just change towels and clean the trash can. We cook and know that the garbage may stink. If the room is sprayed, there will be no problem. If the TV has a YouTube system, it will be 100% perfect! The only bad thing is that some guests just leave their trash at the door all night. I don’t know if the hotel allows it. If you really want to review it. If not, this is very selfish! I thought I lived in an estate! Will this easily attract small animals? Why not put it out in the morning when the cleaners are at work?

Nice modern looking hotel that is easily accessible through underground walkway from Sapporo JR Station (can take Exit 3 Miredo/Sitatte building and it's just short walk above ground from there). Room was compact for family of 4 but other than that, was totally great. New, modern looking with internet connected TV, so we could access YouTube for non-Japanese content. Hotel is also near attractions like Sapporo TV Tower, Clock Tower, Government Office, etc. We really enjoyed our stay here.

As mentioned by many, the location is ideal, smack in the city center. Near Odori park, lots of restaurants around, shops and things to see. To make justice to the hotel, despite not having its own car park, now it's possible to add into the bill the parking service in a multi storey car park just opposite the street (some reviewer mentioned in 2017 that the hotel had no car park, but facts change along the time, so the truth is that now there is a parking facility, as close as possible, just need to cross the road). Now, being a good place and having a decent room (not spacey but it seldom happens in Japan), would make it an ideal place to choose, being even fairly priced, wouldn't it? Well, there's a but (as in the title of the review): one of the worst logistically organised bathrooms that I've ever found - and I've seen many in 27 years of travelling around Asia. There a not-so-tiny step to take from the aisle and the bathroom. As you try to enter, the WC occupies almost all the space till the wall. So either you try to jump over it (starting from a lower level, remember the step?) or I set one foot in the minimal space available and then you turn like a classical dancer to try to bring the rest of your body (other leg) inside and step in front of a weeny sink. Same ordeal to get out of the bathroom. Imagine doing this when you're still moist, after a shower. Maybe I was just unlucky with the room I was assigned to. But there should not be any architech who studies - and then decides that it's good enough to use it without being a breakdancer - such an unpractical configuration of bathroom. The other - minor - thing, is this (but it does not really bothers me much): having placed the ”make my room” magnetic sign to the door in the morning, i came back at night to find an odd black bag hanged to the outer handle. those were two clean towels. Nothing had been touched inside the room, bed undone as I left it, dirty, damp towels still in the tub. Well, an odd interpretation of what make my room means... Other than those two things, a good place to be. I was there for 3 nights and I paid the same amount (for the whole stay) of one night in Tokyo (ok, it's Roppongi and I know it's as dear as hell!). But if you get there, make sure to see the bathroom configuration, before checking into a room!

Very satisfied with the hotel, the booking price was less than 400rmb per night. When we arrived at the hotel, we found that the two adults and one child couldn't sleep at all (picture 1), so we went downstairs to communicate with the hotel staff and they successfully changed to a larger room. I also paid a reasonable price difference~ The hotel is new and very clean...the staff is very friendly. It's right next to Tanukikoji, very convenient ~ If I go to Sapporo again, I will continue to choose them
