Amazing
JJolinloverThe room was quite clean, and while the facilities were a bit old, I was prepared for that. Room service was very prompt, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and kind, granting us a late checkout until 12 PM. The complimentary water they sent was a generous touch. However, the humidifier was really ineffective; it didn't increase the humidity and only blew out hot air. I hope they can replace it. I can't comment on breakfast as it wasn't included. The hotel is very close to the JR station and conveniently located next to two department stores, making dining easy. Since the hotel is quite old, it's a good option for a transit stay. When we left, a young lady at the entrance helped us call a taxi, and her attitude was excellent. If they could renovate the hardware, this hotel would be perfect.
GGuest UserI loved Nukumori No Yado Furukawa! I was an American solo traveler, but my wife is Japanese (we have 2 boys), so I am very familiar with Japanese culture. I wanted to go to a place that Japanese people would love, not a tourist-focused place. From the moment I entered, the service was excellent. I was greeted, checked in quickly, then accompanied to my room for explanations of how everything operates. My room was very comfortable. The facilities, including bath area, foot soaking areas, lobby, lounges, etc. - were all clean and comfortable. The lounge next to the lobby was a cozy place to relax, and most of the lounges included food and drink during at least some point of the day. I visited in mid-October so the leaves were changing color and the temperature outside was crisp but not too cold. Breakfast and dinner were outstanding. I hope to return again with the rest of my family. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserThis is an older, established onsen hotel. The public bath was very comfortable and not crowded, with toiletries from Pola and another brand provided. The room was spacious, and the private onsen in the room was also very relaxing. In the lounge area, you can enjoy bread, coffee, and juice, and alcoholic beverages are available in the evenings. The hotel offers a free bus service from Odori Station; we booked the 11:30 AM bus to the hotel and the 1:00 PM bus back to Sapporo, which worked out well for our timing. The hotel's food was just average.
GGuest UserIdeal location for foodies and shoppers! The location offers a safe and convenient environment with eateries, cafes, convenient stores, pharmacies and souvenir shops just a stone’s throw away. The hotel side door connects directly to Block 5 of Tanukikoji Shopping Street. It’s also near enough (within 1.5km) to walk to the Nijo fish market, Odori Park and Sapporo JR station.

SSuiranshijingshenbingdanshimeiguanxiA truly pleasant stay! The hotel is conveniently located, just a ten-minute walk from Sapporo Station, and the surrounding area is quiet. Although the room wasn't spacious, it was well-designed, with comfortable bedding and excellent soundproofing. The front desk staff spoke fluent English, were very friendly and welcoming, and proactively offered advice on city transportation. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, with a good mix of Japanese and Western dishes, and I especially recommend the freshly prepared hot food. The hotel as a whole was clean and tidy, and the facilities were well-maintained. It's a highly cost-effective choice for both business trips and city sightseeing. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Sapporo.

AAmos testThis hostel is really cool; it seems to be run specifically for Japanese people. It has a huge sauna, hot spring, and shower area. Because it's such a large public bath, dozens of people shower together, just like in the old days when soldiers were stationed. The hostel's counter is on the 4th floor, and the 3rd floor has a restaurant, a private area, and paid massage services. The rooms are very clean. The only downside is that the floor vibrates when someone walks past the bed, which can disturb sleep. It's located near Tanukikoji and Susukino, making shopping and dining super convenient.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located between New Chitose Airport and Sapporo city center. It takes about half an hour to reach Sapporo. If you're looking to shop, staying in Sapporo is more convenient. However, this hotel is a good option if you have an early flight the next day. The room had a very strong disinfectant smell; I suggest the hotel improves its ventilation.
GGuest UserFor the price I think the room was nice and fairly large for Japan the public bath and onsen was a nice touch too. There was a slight unpleasant smell however coming from the toilet. Breakfast was okay the buffet is the best out of the 3 options. Location is pretty good not too far from the train station but walkable to the main downtown (~1km plus) pictures is from the Japanese breakfast

Very Good
KKODAIIt was my first visit in 18 years, since my elementary school field trip.
The facilities are a little old, but the hospitality was evident in the rooms, restaurant, pool, and spa. I was also pleased with the welcome sweets. It's a hotel I'd like to visit again, and I was very satisfied.
GGuest UserIt’s a more traditional and older ryokan so it tends to have older furniture and rooms that may not be the cleanest.
The onsen was lovely and service was good with a convenient gift shop on the first floor. Walkable to a small street with a couple of gift shops a few food places
