THE GATE HOTEL SAPPORO by HULIC

I planned to stay at The Gate Hotel for two nights, then go to Hakodate for one night, and then return to The Gate Hotel. Since I was only taking a small amount of luggage to Hakodate, the hotel was able to store our large bags overnight until we returned. Also, we bought a melon, and the hotel even cut it up for us and provided cutlery. The staff's service is truly commendable.

This is my second stay here, and the service is excellent, and the room is incredibly clean. It's about a 7-8 minute walk from Sapporo JR Station, and even closer to the subway's Namboku Line – just a one-minute walk from exit B1. You can also walk to Susukino from B1 in about 15 minutes, which is perfect for a leisurely stroll back to the hotel after a great meal there. I'll definitely be staying at this hotel again on my next visit to Sapporo.

Had a great experience, the stay was comfortable, and the hotel is relatively new. It's super convenient for shopping around, with JR Sapporo Station right downstairs. The hotel breakfast was also delicious, definitely recommend it.

The location is convenient, the accommodation is comfortable, and the breakfast quality is excellent. The light refreshments offered in the executive lounge were also satisfying. I look forward to staying here again.

The room was incredibly comfortable, clean, and spacious, allowing us to open two suitcases simultaneously. The hotel's location is super convenient, with direct access to both the subway and JR lines. It's perfect for shopping, with department stores and convenience stores nearby. The hotel staff were very friendly. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise; I chose the French Toast with bacon, and the sweet and savory combination was just right. I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again next time.

I'm a big fan of The Gate Hotel series, and this was my fourth stay at one, this time in Sapporo. I always appreciate how clean the hotels are and the pleasant aroma that greets you as soon as you walk in. I'm also consistently impressed by the staff's fluent English and their courteous service. I usually include breakfast with my stay, but unfortunately, I didn't have time for it this visit. I'll definitely try to have breakfast next time. The public bath on the 11th floor was a very comfortable experience. I was also impressed by the amenities in the bathhouse's vanity area, which included a ReFa hair iron and a powerful hairdryer. I definitely plan to stay here again.

The room was clean and nice, and the public bath was also good. Most things were satisfactory. It's a clean hotel, probably because it opened at the end of 2025. The premium lounge was a bit disappointing.
