Net Red Hotel is in a good location. It is just out of the Plaza de Espana subway station, but the premise is that the subway exit must be right. The rooms are Scandinavian style, simple and comfortable, well-equipped and comfortable bedding. There is a kettle and slippers, and welcome snacks on the first day of stay. However, the breakfast experience is very bad. For 19 euros, the main meals and hot food must be ordered according to the menu. After serving, the portion is small and the taste is average. The key is the long waiting time and the location of the top restaurant is small. It is said that the sense of experience is very bad. It is not worth it for 19 euros. Do not go in a hurry. In addition, the hotel is very close to the Spanish Royal Palace, within walking distance, but there is a black shop on the road. The approximate location is just past the Spanish Senate, and it is about to reach the Royal Palace. The name of the store is shown in the last picture. As soon as this shop was seated, an uncle offered his hospitality, said hello in Chinese, and then served the soup. He would ask you to drink soup in Chinese without ordering anything, not to mention the price. At the checkout, each bowl of soup (MSG) Seasoning soup) is almost 2 euros, forced consumption, remember not to enter the store.

Santa Barbara in the Justicia district of Madrid is a local's paradise. It's a squarish plaza and park and terraza all rolled into one. It has cafes and a beer hall and a few restos. And a hotel. I stayed there twice during a recent trip to Europe and found a cozy and comfy place in the heart of town but in a district that still hasn't been completely conquered (or spoiled) by hordes of tourists. The hotel has its amenities including a popular bar in the courtyard. But the true nature of the place is the staff. Sergio, Gabriel, Andrea and company just want to make you feel welcome and will go out of their way to ensure you have a good stay. And Natalia must be the happiest person in Madrid. If you wake up in a grumpy mood, by the time you reach the front desk and Natalia says ”Hola!” with a big smile, your mood is sure to change. Justicia may not be your destination if you're a first timer in Madrid and may want to stay in the thick of touristier areas. For seasoned travellers to Madrid, you can't get a better deal. Or a bigger smile.

The service was particularly good. Because I had to catch a flight in the morning, I asked the front desk if breakfast could be packed. As a result, they packed us two particularly rich breakfasts. They also carefully packed the bread with ham and cheese. They also packed a large box of rich fruits and two Bottle of water.

My wife, daughter and myself stayed here for 3 nights last week and we have to say the hotel was excellent in our opinion. We arrived early at 12 and our room was ready which was great to be able to drop off bags, the room whilst a little dated and small had a balcony which gave us extra space and it was very clean and suited us for our needs and the bathroom was very nice. The breakfast is good and plentiful with good produce. Location is excellent just a 2 minute walk to the main street with busses and taxis on our door step and also various metro stops very near. We cannot fault this hotel and special mention to the staff who were brilliant throughout our stay and for a city break in a brilliant city the hotel is excellent.

I spent 6 nights at Espahotel Plaza de Espana in May 2022 and had an amazing time there. I would highly recommend the hotel. Positives: -Very friendly and helpful staff -I was upgraded to a suite on arrival. This was in a part of the hotel that had been refurbished recently. The room was superb. Everything new, great bed, large bathroom, good kitchen, furniture, everything -The hotel is about a 30 second walk from the Plaza de Espana metro station which is super convenient -There are many nice bars and restaurants closeby, including several interesting sights and the Gran Via street Negatives: -The airconditioning unit in my bedroom was a bit noisy at night so I switched it off when I was sleeping. Overall, I highly recommend the hotel

Stayed at the nh madrid for a long weekend trip and cannot recommend this hotel enough the staff at the hotel are brilliant and are happy to help with anything from taxis to places to go we stayed in room 701 with a balcony overlooking parts of madrid absolutely beautiful hotel is directly opposite the train station with bus stop and metro just outside so easy access from the airport and only a 15 to 20 minute walk from all madrid has to offer fantastic hotel we look forward to returning xxx

Today the word ”luxury” has been diluted by overuse. Everything has its ”luxury” tag nowadays - from coffee blends to detergents. Coco Chanel once said that luxury is not the opposite of poverty, it is the opposite of vulgarity. And that sums up the Belle Époque Ritz in a nutshell! Everything about The Ritz madrid is elegance. From the beautiful interior, the luxurious upholstery and beautiful carpeting woven in the Royal Tapestry Factory founded in 1720. The staff are silently gliding around dressed impeccably, with equally matched service.

The service at this hotel was excellent. Room was clean and confortable. We needed a crib for our daughter and they brought one to our room within ten minutes of check in. We didn’t have time for breakfast in the morning but it looked delicious. Would stay here again!

This hotel is really a bargain for how nice it is. I found the service to be impeccable, breakfast buffet was incredible and the location is right in front of a metro station. A bonus is the contemporary art collection which reminds you that you are in Madrid and not just any nameless, nice hotel. I love the schluter brass detailing in the bathroom and bedroom walls. These design touches add such gravitas to a stay, even when short. Bravo, I would stay here again.

The lobby, restaurant, and garden are all elegantly and meticulously decorated, but the room is a bit crowded for us as a family of three, and the room facilities are average. My favorite is the restaurant, both indoor and outdoor, the restaurant environment and food are of high quality. In addition, the location is very good, very close to the main attractions in the old city (Madrid Royal Palace, Puerta del Sol, Plaza España), ten minutes walk, but please pay attention to driving, this is a restricted area in the old city. The service is good, the waiters are very warm and friendly.

Literally a two minute walk to Gran Via street where you can find anything you could possibly need. GGuest UserAs a Marriott Titanium / Lifetime Platinum Elite Guest, our family [husband, wife and two young daughters] decided to visit Madrid, Spain to start our month-long 2023 summer vacation in Europe. We spent five (5) nights at Westin Palace Madrid using our Bonvoy points in late May / early June 2023. Please see the thirty-eight (38) photos we posted with this review of all aspects of the hotel. Within days after making our five (5) night stay using Marriott Bonvoy points approximately ten (10) months prior to our arrival date, we emailed General Manager, Pablo Flores and advised him of our future stay as well as our special requests, including our request for an Executive Suite, which would comfortably host our family of four. Within hours of our email, we received a thoughtful reply Paloma Hidalgo, Director of Rooms, whom immediately provided us with a complimentary guaranteed upgrade to an Executive Suite and further, Ms. Hidalgo readily granted all of our other special requests. The prompt response did not come as a surprise to us given how active the management of this property is in reading and promptly replying to past guests on Trip Advisor as well as the Marriott Bonvoy website, which is but a mere sign of management’s commitment to exemplary customer service. Not surprisingly, we were overjoyed with such a response and really looked forward to our future stay at The Westin Palace Madrid. This gorgeous historic hotel is magnificently located in Madrid overlooking the Neptune Fountain and less than a three minute walk to the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, less than a five minute walk to the Prado Museum and less than a ten minute walk to the Reina Sofia Museum. It is also extremely close to Retiro Park and is within an easy 15 minute walk to Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and the Gran Via as well as many bars, restaurant, trendy cafés, market and other cultural attractions. You can easily walk everywhere throughout the entire city but public transportation options abound in close proximity to the hotel as well. Our initial visit to the Westin Palace Madrid did not disappoint, especially when the hotel accommodated our extremely early check-in (before 9:00 am). The check-in process with Ms. Hidalgo, Estefanía Martinez, Front Office Assistant Manager and Juan at the reception desk was a breeze. Further, Ms. Martinez was kind enough to personally escort us to our suite and show us all of the features and amenities of same. This was very thoughtful on the part of Ms. Martinez and very much appreciated. Throughout our entire five (5) night stay, Ms. Hidalgo and Ms. Martinez were especially helpful and friendly. We simply loved our Palace Executive Suite with slightly over 1,000 square feet in total space with a sublime view of the Neptune Fountain; it was truly remarkable. DDr. T The TravelerTo start my review I will point out the positive things which were unfortunately not that many.
The hotel is well located to most everything in Madrid via Metro or walking distance to all restaurants and shopping wishing the center of town. Great foodie destinations and shopping are close by, and that’s where the positive comments will stop.
Upon checking in the first signs of poor service were obviously there. They mentioned that because I booked via the “App” Trip.com or other then we would not be considered like others who booked via their own site or preferred partners.
The room was on the first floor and next to the housekeeper room which was non-stop and especially first thing early morning was my alarm clock at 7am everyday whilst on my vacation, so clearly not a a good thing.
Second and another very important issue was the A/C which didn’t work correctly and was making noise, the room was warm and humid the whole time, I mentioned to the reception within 10min of checking in, 4 nights and nothing was done to improve or correct this issue.
Any request or comment was never taken in a professional, responsible or respectful way. As I was on a well deserved vacation I didn’t want to get angry and cause more stress to myself, but I was clear that I would not let this pass without commenting on it.
The breakfast was good, clean but very limited in regards to selection. When requesting your eggs as they mentioned at each table the request was always ignored and just whatever was available even cold eggs as times were sent out. I had to request each day that my eggs were to be prepared soft/runny and they usually brought out cold m, dry and overcooked. So they would give me a look when I asked to please prepare as requested and then after some time they would come back with the order as mentioned.
Over all it was an effort that I don’t need or want at each stage of the interaction with staff and the facility.
I will stick to my usual Usual choice which is Bonvoy group of hotels next time.

Exceptionally clean, really friendly and attentive staff, good atmosphere in the downstairs bar area and on the roof bar, good breakfast and very comfy, well equipped room. Wasn’t too sure initially about the area but we soon felt very comfortable and found some great bars and restaurants locally off the tourist trail. Great location for walking to the centre, La Latina, El Rastro, the park (El Retiro), the art galleries and metro/train connections. Loved Madrid.

GGuest UserRoom was nice but I expected much more interesting decor from the ads. Area was very subdued, I think the restaurant was closed, maybe because of off season. Bed was comfortable and room was adequate. Liked the room darkening shades. Front desk help very nice and helpful with transportation questions. Overall harder to get to than I needed.

GGuest UserFirst the place was not easy to find as it was just a littled door in an alley. Once you find it, it was ok. The appartment was not exactly as in the pictures, but it was still great. There was an elevator (thank God!) and the building was pretty quiet. The appartment is located right in the center, 10-minute walk from Plaza España and 200 metres from Gran Via and Chueca Metro Stations, and lots and lots of restaurants and stores. Be aware, you get the code to the appartment only when you do your online check in AND pay a deposit (for damage and stuff) online. If you are not connected and don't have access to email it may be an issue. In my case, i only checked my email once or twice a week (missed the one for deposit obviously) - but it worked out fine in the end.

旅旅の径The site of the Puerta del Sol, originally a gate facing the east on the 15th century Madrid wall, was named after the upper floor decorated with the pattern of the rising sun; in the continuous expansion of the city, the gate was demolished in 1570. The square, which was built, retained the name of "Puerta del Sol" and gradually became the center of the city. From the aerial aerial view, the 10 streets and alleys are radiant, like the rising sun and shining. In the center of the square, oval fountains on both sides of the east and west, surrounded by the statue of Carlos III sitting in the C position. The ground of the street in front of the main entrance of the Security Bureau building is embedded with the road zero kilometers logo. El Retiro Park

The Palacio de Velazquez is not the only Reina Sofía gallery nearby. Venture further south and you’ll come upon the Palacio de Cristal, a huge greenhouse built in 1887 to house flora brought over from the Philippines — then a Spanish colony. Sadly, at the time, Filipino natives were also brought over and forced to live in their “natural habitat” by the side of the ornamental pond outside. The dark history of this human zoo was rightly exposed and condemned in a 2021 exhibition by Filipino artist, Kidlat Tahimik, held in the space.

Galileo, the father of modern physics, gave the answer and used two methods to achieve balance: one is to cleverly make the horse tail to the ground, the horse tail and the rear hoof form a 3-point balance; the second is to make the horse's rear adopt a solid state, the front is hollow state, so that the center of gravity is moved back to three pivots. Thus, the sculpture of the vacated by the horses' double hoofs was born horizontally, and it is still proud of the Qunxiong and Weizhen Quartet.
