LATROUPE Prado

The room was new and nice, very clean, quiet for sleeping, and great facilities for 23 euros right next to the station. You can't beat the value for money. Check-in was a bit slow, though.

The hostel's main entrance looks completely different from what's on Google Maps, which led me to walk through the restaurant. Everyone in the restaurant was staring at me, and it felt really awkward. In the room, my roommate closed the window while we were sleeping, so the air was stuffy and it got hot and muggy. Given the warm weather, I'd suggest the hostel require guests to keep windows open for ventilation, otherwise, the room gets smelly. It's also quite far from attractions, about a 30-minute walk.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk from Atocha Station. The surrounding facilities are also great, with a Decathlon right across the street. The hotel itself has a bar on the first floor, which was lively at night with people eating, drinking, and chatting. The dormitory room was very clean. Since I only stayed one night, I found it to be quite good. I wonder what it would be like for a longer stay.

Clean and very close to the train station. From the airport, just take bus 203 to the last stop and it's just a few hundred meters walk. There are plenty of places to eat, drink, and shop nearby, and it's close to several attractions. It's a great budget-friendly option for solo travelers.

The place was clean, the staff helpful and attentive, and the location was great. I think the breakfast is a bit too simple and lacks variety. For example, they could at least offer lactose-free milk for coffee or cereal.

An absolutely amazing stay! The only slight downside was that check-in was a bit slow and chaotic. I almost got cut in line by someone who arrived later (because there were just so many people). My flight arrived late, but the 24-hour front desk was super convenient. You can take the 203 bus directly from the airport to a stop just 100 meters downstairs. The area is very lively and safe; I arrived around 11 PM. I had originally booked a mixed dorm, but when I saw a lot of male 'Ah San' (my apologies for the stereotype, but I really didn't want to share a room with them) at the front desk, I asked if I could switch to an all-female room. They ended up upgrading me to an all-female quad room! 🥰🥰 This was fantastic! The experience was truly excellent. Even though I might not come back to Madrid in the future, I definitely recommend this hotel. If you're a female solo traveler like me, don't hesitate – book this hotel immediately. The experience is seriously good beyond words!
