The room is lack of ventilation. Vibration sounds of unknown ventilation starts from midnight til morning for two days.
The shower room has no normal hooks or chair for clothes and personal belongings.
No common area for TRAVELLERS to gather.

Guest UserI stayed one night at TOC Hostel Madrid and had a very good experience. The hostel is modern, clean, and well organized. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is excellent, very central and convenient for visiting the city. I recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a practical and affordable place to stay in Madrid.

We had a mixed experience staying here. On the positive side, the hostel was clean and in a really convenient location, which we appreciated.
However, there were a few issues that made our stay quite uncomfortable. Our room didn’t have a proper window, which made it feel very stuffy and poorly ventilated, and unfortunately it triggered our allergies, which we mentioned to the receptionist. The bed was also quite stiff, and the pillows were very thin—we had to fold and stack them just to be comfortable.
Noise was another challenge. The neighbouring room seemed to be having a party at around 3am, with very loud music and audible conversations, which made it difficult to sleep.
The staff were polite and friendly, but we didn’t feel we received much practical help when we raised our concerns. We tried to cancel the remainder of our stay due to these issues, but were advised to go through the booking platform. We did this but our request ended up pending for some time as the ”hotel was being contacted” and was eventually declined, which was frustrating.
In the end, we decided to check out earlier than planned and book alternative accommodation.
Overall, while the cleanliness and location were great, the lack of ventilation, comfort, and noise control made it hard for us to fully enjoy our stay—especially as we were there for our honeymoon.

ChuWLVery nice hostel located near the metro and walkable distance from Cibeles (City stop for Airport Bus) and Atocha (Train station for departures to south Spain).
Separate toilet, sink, and shower, is always a sign of good hostels.
Could be better if there were individual curtains for beds and nightstand or ledge to put small items

The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. The only thing that for the price you pay was waiting a little more in the room (the dust had not passed in several days and I am allergic, the bed header was unspoken, there was some walls shaved, there was only one night mel and was damaged). A positive point was that there was a diffuser for the dryer, that is almost a miracle.

This hostel offers a very good balance between price and quality. The room, bathroom, sheets, and towels are clean. The location is very central, yet it is completely quiet on the third floor. Check-in may be complicated for non-Spanish-speaking guests, as you do not receive any information prior to arrival. Shampoo and shower gel are provided. The air conditioning is new and works very well. This place opened in 2023.

Anonymous UserTo check in, you need to contact them via WhatsApp at the entrance. The staff responsible for check-ins weren't very responsive, and I had to wait 5-10 minutes, even making a call to them. However, another staff member, an uncle who manages the hostel, was incredibly warm and genuine. I forgot my locker code twice and he kindly reset it for me. The biggest downside was definitely the room, mainly due to a strong odor. Some guests' body odor was so overwhelming and the ventilation wasn't good, which severely impacted the living experience. I couldn't sleep at all that night, partly because of the pervasive snoring from many guests. The continuous snoring led me to pack my bags and leave at around 3 AM. Overall, the facilities were fine, and the downtown location is excellent, but the room smell was just too much.

Guest UserThe Room was ok. However, the bathroom was often dirty, what not really the fault of the staff is but because of people not being considered of the shared bathroom.

The place looked clean at first glance, but the shower curtain had severe mold. Two out of four toilets were out of order due to a broken stall. The beds swayed a lot even with the slightest movement, and even when still, they felt wobbly and unstable. It was quite scary, I was worried they might collapse. Considering it's not a budget hotel, I think more maintenance is needed. The location, however, was convenient. Personally, I found it very annoying when some rude guests were loudly talking on the phone late at night and their phone kept beeping with incoming messages.
