Hotel Liabeny

Location is great, room is so clean and enough spacious. They offered welcome drink and tapa at their cafeteria! I highly recommend this hotel who look for convenient, clean, comfortable staying!! If I had a chance to back in Madrid, I definitely choose here again;)

This is the third time I stay, and I felt the service of the hotel improved over time. The hotel is in the center of the city with many attractions, restaurants and other places of interest nearby. However, this doesn't affect the rooms that are generally quiet and comfortable. The breakfast and the service are both excellent.

This hotel is in the best location in Madrid. It’s next to all the shopping streets, metro stations and walkable to Plaza Mayor, Royal Palace, Prado Museum. There’s cheap eats or fancy bars, it’s a really perfect location. One downside is the lack of kettle and water refill facilities, we had to buy bottled water from the carrefour to drink from. We didn’t touch any of the minibar items as there was no pricelist - and we didn’t use the coffee machine either (would recommend hotel to change this to a kettle, since there is good coffee all over the streets). Walls were a bit thin, I could hear people in the corridors in the morning. Sometimes cleaning staff would miss replacing the towels or tissues. Room was clean and spacious for two people.

I don’t understand who writes the positive reviews. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Everything else is awful — the rooms are dirty, there’s mold in the shower, and the breakfast is just terrible! All the food is stale, there’s no pastries, the food looks like it came out of a dumpster, and on top of that the staff is rude!

Conveniently located near popular attractions, the staff are also very friendly. Highly recommended.
