5-Star Hotels in Madrid

The service was great, very warm and prompt. The room was a bit small, barely any space left after putting down our luggage, but it was clean, and the breakfast was good with a wide variety of choices.

Excellent location, very convenient for getting around. At the front desk, I paid for an upgrade to a premium room and was assigned one on the top floor. The room's facilities were impeccably maintained, looking almost brand new. I especially appreciated that the window could be opened slightly. Just a heads-up: booking their rooms at least 48 hours in advance can save you a significant amount.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is extremely convenient, making it easy to walk to nearby attractions, restaurants, and public transport, which saved us a lot of time during our trip. The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, providing a relaxing place to rest after a long day of sightseeing. The bed was cozy, and the overall environment felt quiet and safe. The staff were also friendly and helpful, adding to the smooth experience from check-in to check-out. Overall, it is a great choice for travelers who value a convenient location, cleanliness, and a comfortable stay. We would happily stay here again.

This hotel is incredibly 'designed'! If you stay here, you'll get to 'enjoy': a glass bathroom door that you can't see through at night, making it likely you'll just fall asleep in the bathroom 😵; a luggage rack too small for a 26-inch suitcase 🤷🏻♀️; a leaky, non-sealing shower door 💧; bedside pendant lights you'll bump your head on every time you look up 🌛; the privilege of refilling your reusable bottle with local tap water 🍶; and 'smart features' that weren't mentioned anywhere in the description 😃. On top of that, if you're on the fourth floor or above, you'll experience amazing soundproofing, with the rooftop bar serenading you to sleep 🛌. And the best part? A beautiful price of 2500 RMB per night in the off-season! 💰 I haven't experienced a hotel like this in many places. What a truly 'novel' experience! 👍🏻

Went to meet a friend at their cafe and was very impressed with the black and gold colour scheme throughout the lobby and the cafe area. The cafe has a nice seating layout with very comfortable sofa’s and some decent arm chairs. The service is also second to none & the coffee was really nice. It also was rather reasonably priced considering the location. Would definitely recommend it if you’re in the area :)

The location was perfect for us. Short walking distance to all central parts you'd want to visit. The staff and lobby are also perfect. The rooms are dated, but then again it wasn't crazy expensive so it's fair enough.

The location is very good, close to Puerta del Sol and Retiro Park. However, the cleaning staff had a bad attitude and often opened the door directly into the room. I stayed for three nights and only made the bed one night. One night when I returned to the hotel, I found that the door card for power supply had been pulled out. There were hairs on the towels in the bathroom. The mini bar was not replenished in time. As a five-star hotel, there are many areas that need improvement.

I stayed at this hotel for three consecutive nights. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and there was a supermarket conveniently located right outside. A particular highlight was their underground parking garage: the entry and exit points were very wide, allowing even large vehicles to maneuver in and out smoothly, and the parking spaces themselves were very generously sized. The only minor downsides were that the hotel facilities felt a bit dated, and the shower water pressure was quite low. However, the breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of choices. Overall, everything else was great – it was clean and the service was good.

We stayed at The Madrid Edition while celebrating my friend’s 40th birthday in Spain, and it was the perfect choice for the trip. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt special and well thought out. The hotel kindly surprised us with complimentary cava and a birthday cake, which was such a lovely touch and made the celebration even more memorable. We had also requested a flower arrangement in advance, and it was done beautifully—exactly as we had hoped. The location is another huge advantage. The hotel sits right in the middle of the city, making it extremely convenient to walk to restaurants, bars, and shopping areas. It made exploring Madrid effortless. What truly stood out was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The only small downside was the room ambience lighting felt a little too dim at times. Aside from that minor detail, everything—from the lobby and facilities to the rooms—was excellent. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend The Madrid Edition to anyone visiting Madrid, especially for a special occasion.

Really like this hotel! Very central located on Gran Via. Close to all the shopping and touristy areas. Easy to walk around everywhere. The room has windows which are able to open, allowing for fresh air to come in. The room is spacious, beds are comfortable. There's a coffee machine also to make espresso. Bathrooms are well laid out and have good amenities. Would stay again!
