Staying at the West Lake Mercure in Hangzhou was so rejuvenating 🌿. The French minimalist decor, clean and bright rooms, and walking distance to West Lake make it perfect for leisurely strolls along the shore, experiencing the beauty of Jiangnan's West Lake. The bedding was soft and comfortable, the service was attentive and thoughtful, and breakfast included local flavors. Overall, the stay was exceptional. It’s a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, a hidden gem for Hangzhou travelers, definitely worth a return visit!

The breakfast was pathetic. The hot spring bath was basically a communal bathhouse. The pool was terrible, easy to get hurt and bleed. Swimsuits bought on site were ten times the price of those outside. If you want to participate in activities, you have to follow the hotel's schedule, you can't just use a car whenever you want, which was very inconvenient. Other than golf, there was nothing else to do nearby. The cycling scenery was just mediocre, and the mountain view from the scripture copying area was also just okay. There were no places to wander around. Besides the golf course, which you couldn't even enter freely. Although the service at the Western restaurant for dinner was good, the ingredients were just average. The food at the Chinese restaurant for lunch and dinner wasn't very tasty, and the prices were high. I wouldn't want to come again.

The room cleaning was meticulous, facilities were complete, and the service was attentive and thoughtful. The location is excellent, and I was very satisfied with my stay during the trip. The service attitude was good, the room was clean and odor-free, hot water and internet were stable, and transportation was convenient. I will choose this place again next time I visit.

Our stay at the InterContinental One Thousand Island Lake was overall quite pleasant, and we'd especially like to thank our butler, Jolie. Even while on vacation, she went above and beyond to help us arrange a lamp for our child and assisted with a late check-out request. Her service was truly thoughtful and attentive. The lake view from building B is absolutely stunning; you can relax and take in the beautiful Qiandao Lake scenery from your room, making for a truly comfortable and relaxing vacation experience. A small suggestion for improvement: aside from swimming, there aren't many water activities near the hotel. We recommend the hotel consider offering activities like kayaking or water biking.

It's like living in a forest, with acorns constantly falling from the trees. The hotel is very clean, with virtually no mosquitoes. The room facilities are all excellent, especially the toilet flushing, which isn't too loud. Special praise goes to the hotel staff; their service was exceptionally good from check-in to check-out. They provided afternoon tea with fruit platters, nuts, and tea; offered ginger soup and ice packs if you had a cold; and promptly came to your room to help with any issues. The hotel only offers vegetarian food. I tried it once, and it was quite good and creative. Compared to the Black Pearl Hotel (averaging 1000 RMB per person), it's definitely not quite as good, but it's much better than other vegetarian restaurants in temples. Every ingredient was very fresh, although there were some issues, like the watermelon in the complimentary fruit platter being sweet and the blueberries being extremely sour. If you don't want vegetarian food, the surrounding farmhouses are a good option, offering fish, chicken, stir-fries, etc. I randomly picked a few and none were bad. The hotel also arranged various courses, including a healing class and Baduanjin (Eight Pieces of Brocade). Lying in a cabin surrounded by trees and feeling the breeze on a platform by the forest river was a truly therapeutic experience! I stayed for two days and there were still many courses I didn't get to try, so I'll make up for them next time! I'll consider bringing my parents next time.

The environment here is fantastic! The lobby has books, a guzheng (Chinese zither), and calligraphy brushes, plus two adorable parrots 🦜. I'm very satisfied with this hotel; the rooms are spotless, and the front desk staff are wonderful. It's also very convenient for getting around. To go to West Lake, you just need to take the subway to Xiuxi Road Station. I really love it and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hangzhou.

I booked this hotel thinking it was close to West Lake. Before checking in, I quickly scrolled through Xiaohongshu and didn't have high expectations, but after staying there, I felt it was pretty good. From the moment we checked in, I had a good feeling. The front desk saw we had a child and offered to include breakfast for them, even though we only had a double breakfast originally. Honestly, when we travel, my husband never wakes up for breakfast, so it's usually just my son and me eating anyway, but I still appreciate the front desk's thoughtfulness. The room was also great; the 2-meter bed was perfectly fine for two adults and one child, not at all cramped. The bedding and cleanliness were good too. The soundproofing wasn't as bad as some reviews claimed; I thought it was decent. When we left, we accidentally left our new headphones on the nightstand, and they promptly helped us find them. The view from the 10th-floor observation deck was also nice. Overall, it's great value for money and suitable for families who want to visit West Lake.

Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. I booked one night in a scenic view room and two nights in a lake view room. The sanitation was good, and breakfast was rich and varied. The central lake view room offered an excellent view; stepping out onto the balcony, you could feel the breeze blowing across the lake, which instantly brightened my mood. The staff were all very friendly, and the housekeeper Lily Hu was particularly nice, always responding promptly and resolving any requests I had 👍🏻. In the afternoon, there was a singer in the hotel lobby, and sitting there with a cup of coffee was truly enjoyable. The only minor issue was that the soundproofing in the lake view room wasn't as good, possibly due to the sliding door next to the bathtub, as I often heard the sound of it being opened and closed.

Front desk staff, Ms. Wang Xiao, kindly upgraded my mother's room for free. The room was spacious and bright, with a bathtub for a relaxing soak. The environment was quiet, ensuring a great night's rest. Breakfast was plentiful, and they even gave us a souvenir upon check-out. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends and family when they visit Hangzhou.

My stay was very pleasant, and I'd especially like to thank the Guest Services Ambassador, who was warm and thoughtful, responded promptly to requests, and handled issues patiently and meticulously with professional and attentive service. The hotel's location is excellent, close to West Lake, making it convenient to go anywhere. Being right by West Lake means you can avoid the crowds and visit early in the morning. Wulin Night Market is also nearby, great for budget-friendly dining. Intime Department Store is within walking distance, so high-end shopping is right at your fingertips. The location is truly convenient.
