Guest UserI chose this Mercure for my trip to Hangzhou, and its location is a big plus. It's close to the subway, making it super convenient to get to West Lake and Hubin. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable. Wanwan's service was prompt and very friendly. The breakfast selection was also good. It made traveling and staying worry-free. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Hangzhou.

Guest UserThe hotel is right in front of the bus stop. If you're walking from Metro Line 1, you'll pass through a commercial street, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The lobby has excellent air conditioning, and there's a free coffee machine and tea available.
The room isn't huge, but it looks exactly like the promotional pictures. The smart home features throughout the room are very convenient, and I was quite satisfied. The only minor thing is the mirror facing the bed, but you can just cover it with a towel if it bothers you. The hotel service was also excellent; it was pouring rain when we arrived, and while we were resting in the lobby, the front desk staff kept checking on us. Even the cleaning staff was very polite when we asked for our room to be tidied.

Had a wonderful three-day, two-night stay at the Fuchun Resort, a place I've long admired. The architecture, rich in Chinese aesthetics, blends seamlessly with the natural environment of Fuyang, creating a truly harmonious feel. Hiking here was wonderfully wild and scenic. The resort's thoughtful service was evident in every detail: from the welcome greeting and the consistently helpful and responsive personal butler (Benson) before arrival, to the doorman's proactive and natural assistance with luggage, and the waitress's meticulous inquiry about dietary preferences at breakfast. All these touches reflect the hotel's high standards of service and made me feel truly respected. I even left my hat in the calligraphy class and only realized it when the instructor notified me and said it would be promptly returned to the lobby. The shuttle drivers were also very punctual, almost always available on call. The housekeeping staff were diligent and friendly. The hotel also offers a wide range of activities, and the travel photography service was particularly high quality. Fuchun Resort truly lives up to its reputation as a high-end resort. I'd love to visit again!

Let's be honest with this review.
First, the negatives:
Overall, the room was very small. Basically, you walk in and it's just the bed, a small table by the bed, and then a small window next to the bed against the wall (which didn't really provide ventilation). The bed was right by the window, and only one side had a power outlet. It wasn't very convenient for two people to charge their devices.
The soundproofing was poor (kids screaming in the hallway in the middle of the night). On the 7th floor, the outdoor air conditioning unit rumbled and vibrated, and I could hear a buzzing sound when I lay on the pillow.
The central air conditioning blew directly onto the wall next to the bed, then bounced back onto my head, making it incredibly cold. It gave me a headache. If I turned off the AC, the small window didn't allow for ventilation, making the room stuffy.
Now, for the positives:
The decor, the shower in the bathroom, and the general cleanliness were all good. The laundry room was also clean and had two washing machines.
The cleaning staff (the ladies) were exceptionally polite. They would greet guests and were all very good!
The front desk ladies also provided good service and resolved issues promptly. They would greet us when we entered and had a good attitude and tone! They seemed to have a better service mindset than the male front desk staff.

PengsakelaasuojiaerInterContinental Qiandao Lake, exclusively occupying the Xian Shan Peninsula, is a scenic destination in itself, perfect for a slow-paced getaway.
The hotel offers a rich variety of dining options. The breakfast buffet on the first floor boasts a wide selection, and we enjoyed several excellent meals at the Chinese restaurant. The late-night diner on the fifth floor, opening at 9 PM, became a regular treat for the kids after swimming, serving various instant noodles with fresh eggs and vegetables. There's also a Japanese restaurant outside the lobby, perfect for a relaxed meal after a scenic walk or bike ride around the lake.
You can rent bicycles and 'Panda cars' to explore the island. The peninsula is ecologically pristine, with blue butterflies dancing and swallows flitting about, showcasing abundant wildlife. Both indoor and outdoor pools have regularly changed water and are well-maintained. The hotel also has its own yacht pier; simply book at the front desk or buy tickets at the lobby shop for direct access to Huangshan Peak, making travel incredibly convenient.
The most heartwarming part of our stay was the housekeeping auntie. When she saw my child's summer homework spread out, she thoughtfully placed an eye-protection desk lamp, noticing the dim light in the room. This small act of kindness was truly touching.
With one island, one hotel, far from the hustle and bustle, nestled between the lake and mountains, enjoying nature in peace – this is the ideal state of a vacation.

Guest UserThe environment here is fantastic! The lobby has books, a guzheng (Chinese zither), and calligraphy brushes, plus two adorable parrots 🦜.
I'm very satisfied with this hotel; the rooms are spotless, and the front desk staff are wonderful.
It's also very convenient for getting around. To go to West Lake, you just need to take the subway to Xiuxi Road Station.
I really love it and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hangzhou.

It's like living in a forest, with acorns constantly falling from the trees. The hotel is very clean, with virtually no mosquitoes. The room facilities are all excellent, especially the toilet flushing, which isn't too loud.
Special praise goes to the hotel staff; their service was exceptionally good from check-in to check-out. They provided afternoon tea with fruit platters, nuts, and tea; offered ginger soup and ice packs if you had a cold; and promptly came to your room to help with any issues.
The hotel only offers vegetarian food. I tried it once, and it was quite good and creative. Compared to the Black Pearl Hotel (averaging 1000 RMB per person), it's definitely not quite as good, but it's much better than other vegetarian restaurants in temples. Every ingredient was very fresh, although there were some issues, like the watermelon in the complimentary fruit platter being sweet and the blueberries being extremely sour. If you don't want vegetarian food, the surrounding farmhouses are a good option, offering fish, chicken, stir-fries, etc. I randomly picked a few and none were bad.
The hotel also arranged various courses, including a healing class and Baduanjin (Eight Pieces of Brocade). Lying in a cabin surrounded by trees and feeling the breeze on a platform by the forest river was a truly therapeutic experience! I stayed for two days and there were still many courses I didn't get to try, so I'll make up for them next time! I'll consider bringing my parents next time.

I brought my parents to Hangzhou, and staying in a hotel as a family of three can be a bit awkward. Hotels around West Lake are either astronomically priced or old and rundown. I bought a room voucher after seeing a recommendation on Xiyou. For a Saturday night, a 50-square-meter two-bedroom suite by West Lake, including three breakfasts, offered incredible value for money. What's more, I was able to book it just two days before our trip.
Of course, there were clear downsides. The room's decor and furniture were indeed a bit old. Being in a bustling commercial area, we could faintly hear car horns and mall music from the street even at 9 PM. However, the upside was that it was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. Once asleep, I wasn't woken up and slept soundly until morning. Having two bathrooms, and with the doors closed, it was essentially like having two separate rooms, which is perfect for adult children traveling with their parents.
The hotel breakfast was also delicious. Besides Bianchuan and small wontons, the live cooking station offered scallion oil noodles. The soy milk was rich, and you could add your own toppings and vinegar to make savory soy milk, which is hard to find a good one outside. The 10th-floor terrace offered a nice view, and we even caught the sunset. It's not far from the subway station, with plenty of food and entertainment options nearby. To get to West Lake, you need to use an underground passage. Overall, I highly recommend it.

Guest UserFront desk staff, Ms. Wang Xiao, kindly upgraded my mother's room for free. The room was spacious and bright, with a bathtub for a relaxing soak. The environment was quiet, ensuring a great night's rest. Breakfast was plentiful, and they even gave us a souvenir upon check-out. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends and family when they visit Hangzhou.

Guest UserMy short trip to Hangzhou included a stay at the Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Hangzhou, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. Here's my honest feedback.
The hotel location is great, not far from Wulin Night Market, and convenient for self-driving with easy parking, making getting in and out hassle-free. The overall environment is pleasant. The room was spotlessly clean and spacious, with a mattress that was just the right firmness, ensuring a very restful sleep. The bathroom had a good wet/dry separation, and the toiletries felt good to use. The window offered an expansive view of West Lake (from a lake view room).
The staff were polite, check-in and check-out were efficient, and issues were addressed promptly after being reported. The service was practical and not overly formal, with no flashy marketing gimmicks, just a genuine holiday experience. It’s perfect for both relaxing and exploring the surroundings, offering good overall value for money. This hotel is definitely worth considering for a trip to Hangzhou.
