Guest UserMy expectations were fully met, and the hotel lived up to the hype. The only minor drawback is that check-in isn't until 3:30 PM (though earlier check-in is possible if rooms are available), but this hotel is just incredibly popular.
The hotel boasts numerous rooms with an exceptionally high occupancy rate and a variety of room types. Stepping inside, there's a magical sense of calm. For the same price, you might only get a standard room in Shanghai, but here we enjoyed a lake view suite.
The service was also top-notch; my family felt right at home, praising the hospitality. It was money well spent.
Even during the holiday, the swimming pool and hot spring weren't overcrowded, which speaks to excellent management, as reservations are required. Since it's winter, swimming was a bit chilly. However, there's also a sizable, slightly warmer children's pool area, which is absolutely fantastic.

TinyjhThis hotel is quite unique and in a great location. It's pretty smart, allowing for face recognition check-in for the entire stay. The room comes with makeup remover wipes, toner, lotion, and cream. The lobby is spacious and bright, and it's very close to Hangzhou High-Speed Railway Station, making it easy to catch a taxi. I'll definitely stay here again if I have the chance. They also offer a self-service breakfast and late-night snack. If you're booking a room, ask for Wang Yue; she's very enthusiastic.

The hotel is small but exquisite, with a serene and elegant Japanese Zen garden. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the private hot spring baths are wonderfully relaxing and therapeutic. The amenities are refined and comprehensive. The butler service is thoughtful and attentive, making the check-in experience feel truly special. The food is fresh and delicious, and the 'nine-grid' breakfast is quite unique.

Guest UserThe best hotel of the year, hands down. The value for money and service are simply outstanding. I was here to celebrate my ***** birthday, and they helped decorate the room and even sent a small cake. The hotel itself is stunning, very traditional Chinese in style. I actually found out about this hotel after seeing it in Zhang Linghe and Xu Ruohan's 'Love You' and had always wanted to experience it. I was incredibly satisfied with everything – the mountain views, the tree views, the facilities, and the service. The pool was also very clean. I had such a wonderful time that I didn't want to leave, and when I asked the front desk if I could have a late check-out, they happily extended it by two hours. During my three days and two nights here, I completely forgot all my worries. The breakfast was also very generous. Now that I've checked out this afternoon, I'm already experiencing withdrawal symptoms! I'll definitely choose this hotel again for our next wedding anniversary!

JasonlinllllFacilities: The hardware facilities are quite good, and the overall maintenance is excellent.
Environment: It occupies the entire Xianshan Peninsula, making it very suitable for guests who prefer peace and quiet. It's closer to nature, away from the city's hustle and bustle. The scenery is beautiful, whether it's sunny or rainy.
Cleanliness: Very good. Housekeeping arrived to clean the room daily while we were at breakfast, which was efficient.
Service: A butler contacted us the day before check-in. This time, our butler was Evie, and her service was incredibly attentive and detailed throughout. She explained activities, provided daily activity reminders and weather alerts, and even helped us book in-room dining. Her responses were always very prompt. She truly deserves special praise.
This hotel is perfect for a relaxing getaway. We mostly just lounged in the room. Although we didn't participate in many activities, simply strolling around the hotel grounds and listening to the rain on the balcony was incredibly relaxing and therapeutic.
It gets a bit busier on weekends, probably because it's summer break and many families come with children. Weekdays are much quieter. The breakfast restaurant can get crowded during peak hours on Sunday mornings, requiring a bit of a wait.

Guest UserWe had a wonderful stay at Banyan Tree and were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a two-bedroom villa. The villa was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully designed, offering both comfort and a memorable experience.
The breakfast was excellent, and we particularly appreciated the effort made to accommodate our strict vegetarian dietary requirements. The buggy services were consistently prompt and efficient.
The resort’s location amidst the wetlands provides a unique and tranquil natural setting, though some guests may find it slightly secluded.
Communication through WeChat was smooth and responsive. We would also like to especially commend Samiksha, the intern, and the dining team member who spoke both English and Chinese fluently. Their attentiveness and willingness to help significantly enhanced our experience.
As areas for improvement, the swimming pool water could have been warmer, and the addition of facilities such as a sauna or jacuzzi would further elevate the guest experience.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable and well-managed stay and truly appreciated the warm hospitality of the team.

ZhaiKHygiene: The hotel's hygiene is excellent and very clean, the room was spotless.
Environment: The overall hotel environment is good, the lobby/restaurant area is very comfortable, and the spa environment is particularly great – a wonderful experience! The only slight downside was that our room, a 'Wu You' room, had a view directly facing a row of small dolphin and duck boats in the park, which wasn't very appealing.😅
Service: The service was generally excellent. The butler was very responsive and thoughtfully prepared the room's decor. The hotel's refreshments were good. It would have been an even better experience if they had proactively contacted guests earlier.
Facilities: All the facilities were well-equipped, and they provided airport drop-off service. The food was also delicious.

It's like living in a forest, with acorns constantly falling from the trees. The hotel is very clean, with virtually no mosquitoes. The room facilities are all excellent, especially the toilet flushing, which isn't too loud.
Special praise goes to the hotel staff; their service was exceptionally good from check-in to check-out. They provided afternoon tea with fruit platters, nuts, and tea; offered ginger soup and ice packs if you had a cold; and promptly came to your room to help with any issues.
The hotel only offers vegetarian food. I tried it once, and it was quite good and creative. Compared to the Black Pearl Hotel (averaging 1000 RMB per person), it's definitely not quite as good, but it's much better than other vegetarian restaurants in temples. Every ingredient was very fresh, although there were some issues, like the watermelon in the complimentary fruit platter being sweet and the blueberries being extremely sour. If you don't want vegetarian food, the surrounding farmhouses are a good option, offering fish, chicken, stir-fries, etc. I randomly picked a few and none were bad.
The hotel also arranged various courses, including a healing class and Baduanjin (Eight Pieces of Brocade). Lying in a cabin surrounded by trees and feeling the breeze on a platform by the forest river was a truly therapeutic experience! I stayed for two days and there were still many courses I didn't get to try, so I'll make up for them next time! I'll consider bringing my parents next time.

MaiMai LamThe self-service vending machine next to the elevator on the first floor is incredibly practical; I suggest moving it to a more prominent spot in the lobby to make it even more convenient for guests. The food delivery robot was efficient and quick, and the breakfast selection was extensive. It would be even better if breakfast hours could be extended until 10:30 AM. The in-room Dyson hairdryer was fantastic, and the air conditioning was very comfortable. When there was noise interference from municipal repairs downstairs at night, the duty manager, Robber, responded quickly and handled the situation very effectively. As a classic luxury hotel brand, the Grand Hyatt's end-to-end service consistently maintains a genuinely warm core. It has retained its high standards over the years, and the service depth and professionalism of such a well-established hotel are simply irreplaceable. An old Ferrari is still a Ferrari, after all!
