Had a wonderful three-day, two-night stay at the Fuchun Resort, a place I've long admired. The architecture, rich in Chinese aesthetics, blends seamlessly with the natural environment of Fuyang, creating a truly harmonious feel. Hiking here was wonderfully wild and scenic. The resort's thoughtful service was evident in every detail: from the welcome greeting and the consistently helpful and responsive personal butler (Benson) before arrival, to the doorman's proactive and natural assistance with luggage, and the waitress's meticulous inquiry about dietary preferences at breakfast. All these touches reflect the hotel's high standards of service and made me feel truly respected. I even left my hat in the calligraphy class and only realized it when the instructor notified me and said it would be promptly returned to the lobby. The shuttle drivers were also very punctual, almost always available on call. The housekeeping staff were diligent and friendly. The hotel also offers a wide range of activities, and the travel photography service was particularly high quality. Fuchun Resort truly lives up to its reputation as a high-end resort. I'd love to visit again!

This hotel has a manor-style resort vibe and is wonderfully quiet, which I really appreciated. Its location is quite central, making it easy and quick to get to nearby attractions by taxi. There was a minor hiccup with the room upon check-in, but the staff were very responsive and resolved it quickly. Even during a public holiday, the service quality didn't drop, and there was no queue for breakfast. It's a shame it rained every day during the Dragon Boat Festival's plum rain season; I hope for sunny weather next time!

This hotel is quite suitable for business trips and travel. It's conveniently located just over 100 meters from Line 19, making getting around very easy. I'll definitely stay here again next time. Wang Yue provided great service; you can contact her for bookings. The room was well-stocked with everything from razors, lotions, serums, and makeup remover wipes. Overall, I had a very satisfying stay.

A rare tranquil resort hotel in Hangzhou, the overall stay experience exceeded expectations! The hotel is secluded with elegant garden views. The private hot spring baths offer incredible privacy, and the water is clear and clean. The room layout is well-designed, the decor is luxurious, and the toiletries are high-quality. The service is meticulous. This is definitely a top choice for a vacation and won't disappoint.

The public areas are really well-equipped and beautifully designed, with potted green plants everywhere indoors. In contrast, the guest rooms are a bit of a letdown. Given the significant number of families staying here, which the hotel should be aware of, it's surprising that the TVs don't offer on-demand content or screen mirroring. Sometimes, you need a TV to entertain children, or when adults are busy and kids are alone. The bedding, in my opinion, is the biggest drawback. The pillows flatten completely the moment you lie down, offering no support whatsoever. The bed itself isn't comfortable to sleep on either. Although the hotel followed up and mentioned they could remove the mattress or provide buckwheat pillows, I still believe there's room for improvement in the room facilities. Most hotels manage to strike a balance without needing major replacements after check-in. I understand that many people take photos, which is hard to control. The public areas are beautiful enough, but please give more attention to the guest rooms. Otherwise, there are no other issues. The service is excellent, and the staff are generally very polite. They follow up on problems, and the service exceeded my expectations. The Shui Yang Chinese restaurant offers consistently good food. While not outstanding, the flavors and cooking are well-controlled and worth trying.

InterContinental Qiandao Lake, exclusively occupying the Xian Shan Peninsula, is a scenic destination in itself, perfect for a slow-paced getaway. The hotel offers a rich variety of dining options. The breakfast buffet on the first floor boasts a wide selection, and we enjoyed several excellent meals at the Chinese restaurant. The late-night diner on the fifth floor, opening at 9 PM, became a regular treat for the kids after swimming, serving various instant noodles with fresh eggs and vegetables. There's also a Japanese restaurant outside the lobby, perfect for a relaxed meal after a scenic walk or bike ride around the lake. You can rent bicycles and 'Panda cars' to explore the island. The peninsula is ecologically pristine, with blue butterflies dancing and swallows flitting about, showcasing abundant wildlife. Both indoor and outdoor pools have regularly changed water and are well-maintained. The hotel also has its own yacht pier; simply book at the front desk or buy tickets at the lobby shop for direct access to Huangshan Peak, making travel incredibly convenient. The most heartwarming part of our stay was the housekeeping auntie. When she saw my child's summer homework spread out, she thoughtfully placed an eye-protection desk lamp, noticing the dim light in the room. This small act of kindness was truly touching. With one island, one hotel, far from the hustle and bustle, nestled between the lake and mountains, enjoying nature in peace – this is the ideal state of a vacation.

Although the hotel is a bit old, the hardware is generally well-maintained. However, the cleanliness needs improvement, especially on the balcony where the railings were dusty – even though it's an outdoor area, it still needs better upkeep! Inside, the diamond-patterned room divider, which was trendy back in the day, is indeed hard to clean, but I'm sure the housekeeping department will be able to handle it once they notice it ✊. The breakfast selection is limited; it's filling, but doesn't quite match the hotel's star rating. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional service. From the concierge to the front desk, the restaurant staff, and even the occasional encounter with housekeeping, everyone was warm, polite, and attentive. Olive, who I contacted via WeChat, was incredibly responsive and efficient in handling any requests, even those I just casually mentioned. For someone who values service above all else, this more than made up for the shortcomings I noted earlier. 😂

It's like living in a forest, with acorns constantly falling from the trees. The hotel is very clean, with virtually no mosquitoes. The room facilities are all excellent, especially the toilet flushing, which isn't too loud. Special praise goes to the hotel staff; their service was exceptionally good from check-in to check-out. They provided afternoon tea with fruit platters, nuts, and tea; offered ginger soup and ice packs if you had a cold; and promptly came to your room to help with any issues. The hotel only offers vegetarian food. I tried it once, and it was quite good and creative. Compared to the Black Pearl Hotel (averaging 1000 RMB per person), it's definitely not quite as good, but it's much better than other vegetarian restaurants in temples. Every ingredient was very fresh, although there were some issues, like the watermelon in the complimentary fruit platter being sweet and the blueberries being extremely sour. If you don't want vegetarian food, the surrounding farmhouses are a good option, offering fish, chicken, stir-fries, etc. I randomly picked a few and none were bad. The hotel also arranged various courses, including a healing class and Baduanjin (Eight Pieces of Brocade). Lying in a cabin surrounded by trees and feeling the breeze on a platform by the forest river was a truly therapeutic experience! I stayed for two days and there were still many courses I didn't get to try, so I'll make up for them next time! I'll consider bringing my parents next time.

The architecture is breathtaking, blending traditional Chinese culture with modern luxury in a way that feels elegant, authentic and incredibly calming. The attention to detail throughout the property is exceptional. The suites are beautifully designed with natural, eco-friendly materials that create an instantly grounding atmosphere. Upon entering, you’re welcomed by a Marshall speaker with a curated selection of nature sounds—waves, birds, rustling leaves and crackling fire—setting the tone for complete relaxation. The bathroom is equally impressive, with beautiful curtains opening to a soaking spa prepared daily with fresh rose petals and natural bath salts. Thoughtful touches such as soft linen loungewear and complimentary disposable swimwear made the experience feel effortlessly luxurious. Service is truly five-star. Each suite is assigned a personal butler who is attentive, responsive and genuinely committed to making your stay effortless. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and the hospitality was warm, personal and sincere. I was initially hesitant about the vegetarian restaurant, but it was one of the highlights of my stay. The dishes were nutritious, beautifully presented and worthy of fine dining, while still being surprisingly filling. For those who prefer meat, there are also excellent restaurants nearby. The wellness program is outstanding, with daily yoga, Tai Chi, sound baths, traditional Chinese medicine consultations and other healing experiences. Classes run for around an hour and are led by knowledgeable instructors who genuinely care about your wellbeing, creating a deeply relaxing and restorative experience. With only around 8–10 suites, the hotel remains wonderfully quiet and intimate, allowing guests to completely disconnect from the outside world. After just three nights, I left feeling genuinely relaxed, grounded and restored. A rare hidden gem that combines exceptional architecture, thoughtful design, impeccable service and meaningful wellness experiences. If you’re looking for a peaceful five-star retreat focused on luxury, wellness and tranquillity, I couldn’t recommend Xixi Xin Hotel more highly. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It was great! We had a stunning view of West Lake right from our hotel room. The front desk staff, especially one gentleman, was incredibly warm, thoughtful, patient, and detail-oriented. A big thank you to that kind and helpful young man for securing our room. It allowed us, with our elderly parents and children, to fully enjoy the beautiful scenery of Hangzhou's West Lake and experience the city's warmth and hospitality. The lake view room was lovely, and being right by West Lake was perfect for seniors and kids. 👧
