Hotel near West Lake, Lingyin Temple Scenic Area,Hangzhou
"This hotel is a guesthouse converted from a villa complex, sharing the space with original residents. Security guards check your booking details upon entry, so Didi and food deliveries aren't an issue. There's a tea garden, so the outdoor environment feels quite pleasant. However, the rooms are average and on the small side. While there's an outdoor balcony, there are too many mosquitoes, so we hardly dared to open the door. On the last night, there were mosquitoes in the room, keeping me awake, and the mosquito repellent essential oil wasn't very effective. There were welcome fruits (common fruits, not really to my taste) and afternoon tea (two drinks + a few small cakes), which was significantly less impressive than what others received. There's also a private hot spring experience, but I wasn't interested so I didn't go. Breakfast lacked noodle soups, wontons, and similar items; the variety of food was quite limited. For a price of 700-800, I generally feel it's not good value for money. When checking out, I messaged the butler on WeChat about the issues, and they later arranged to send some local souvenirs as a consolation. I didn't take many photos of the room as there was nothing special about it; I only photographed the lotus flowers and snacks I bought myself."

GGuest UserI have to commend the hotel's butler service; it's truly seamless and incredibly thoughtful. The hotel offers a wide range of activities, catering to both relaxation and excitement, and they are all meticulously arranged with dedicated staff accompanying guests, making our stay at the hotel truly fulfilling. Wendy contacted me a day before check-in and even saw us off at the hotel entrance when we left, presenting us with a small hotel gift. This made us feel incredibly warm and cared for, adding greatly to our overall experience during our stay. My best friend and I both agree that the hotel's service and experience deserve full marks. The hotel's dining is also excellent, with carefully selected ingredients and exceptional quality control. I'm planning to bring my parents here for a visit next time; it's definitely worth repeat visits.

TTinyjhThis hotel is quite unique and in a great location. It's pretty smart, allowing for face recognition check-in for the entire stay. The room comes with makeup remover wipes, toner, lotion, and cream. The lobby is spacious and bright, and it's very close to Hangzhou High-Speed Railway Station, making it easy to catch a taxi. I'll definitely stay here again if I have the chance. They also offer a self-service breakfast and late-night snack. If you're booking a room, ask for Wang Yue; she's very enthusiastic.

GGuest UserThe hotel is small but exquisite, with a serene and elegant Japanese Zen garden. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the private hot spring baths are wonderfully relaxing and therapeutic. The amenities are refined and comprehensive. The butler service is thoughtful and attentive, making the check-in experience feel truly special. The food is fresh and delicious, and the 'nine-grid' breakfast is quite unique.

LLililililiThe hotel's design and landscaping are absolutely top-notch, truly living up to its reputation as 'Hangzhou's Little Kyoto.' The cleaning staff are meticulous, warm, and polite. There's a hydration station on every floor, and the complimentary bottled water is a nice touch. Breakfast offers a decent variety; it's not spectacular, but it's perfectly adequate for a typical staycation. The mosquito repellent provided in the room is thoughtful, and if the occupancy isn't too high, you have a good chance of getting a room upgrade. Now for the downsides. There are far too many people taking photos at the hotel entrance and in the lobby, most of whom aren't even staying guests, which makes it feel a bit chaotic. Service is practically non-existent; no one opened the car door or helped with luggage upon arrival. I added the butler's WeChat, but for any request, I was still told to call the front desk (I had already checked out and contacted the butler for an invoice, but was told to call the front desk using a room phone? Invoices can only be issued after checkout, surely that's common sense?). So, what's the point of having a butler? For a hotel where even the basic rooms cost over a thousand yuan, this butler service feels quite perplexing.

EECNU-My three-day, two-night stay was the perfect introduction to a resort-style hotel. Both the hotel's facilities and services were impeccable! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 ✅ First, let's praise the hotel's excellent location: who knew the exclusive access to Xan Shan Peninsula was such a privilege?! (Pictures 1-16 show the hotel facilities and surroundings, unedited photos) The hotel also boasts a very large garden and surrounding attractions perfect for photoshohoots. It's just beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! Within a few minutes' walk, you can reach Xan Shan Botanical Garden (honestly, not much to see, but there are daily parent-child activities), Lover's Gorge (great for couples to take photos), the hotel's exclusive lighthouse (Picture 7, very atmospheric), and the hotel's seasonal fruit orchard (high parent-child interaction, with different fruits available for picking in different seasons). When the weather is good, you can take many beautiful scenic photos. When it's cloudy or rainy, you can experience the unique humidity of the Jiangnan region and the fresh air provided by the lush vegetation. ✅ Next, let's talk about the hotel facilities. The hotel is divided into three buildings, A, B, and C. Building B offers the best lake views, with a complete panorama of the lake's beauty. The layout is very reasonable, with convenient connections between all areas. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design. The indoor and outdoor pools are regularly disinfected with chlorine balls, and the water is clear and sparkling, perfect for children to play in. The hotel also has a swim shop with affordable items, which is very convenient for guests who haven't brought all their swimming gear. Every day, the hotel has an activity schedule listing the names and locations of various parent-child activities at different times throughout the day. There's a wide variety to choose from. There's also a super large indoor children's playground, which is cleaned very, very thoroughly. I really want to thank the cleaning staff for their hard work here. ✅ Dining (Pictures 18-19) The hotel has a Chinese restaurant, a Western restaurant, and a Japanese restaurant, offering a rich and diverse selection. Set meals can also be purchased in advance on your phone. The hotel even provides a free shuttle service to nearby farmhouse restaurants (PS: the prices are very, very, very affordable, and the vegetables are freshly grown and incredibly fresh). The most commendable aspect of the dining is the complimentary breakfast buffet. The variety is incredibly extensive, and they even adjust the dishes daily to better cater to different guests' preferences. Soups, desserts, freshly squeezed juices, freshly made guokui (griddle cakes), mini-hamburgers, and more! You can also scan a QR code to order noodles and freshly made wontons. I always end up eating too much every day, darn it! ❗️They even consider the need for liquid food for infants and provide various flavors of rice cereal. In addition, whether it's the minibar in the room and the complimentary welcome drinks (Qiandao Lake beer), the incredibly seasonal, crisp, and sweet fruits, or the thoughtful turndown service, every detail showcases the hotel's humanistic care. It's truly commendable (Picture 17). ✅ The absolute most praiseworthy aspect is the high-end, meticulous, and thoughtful service staff. Special thanks to: Ada and Joey at the front desk for check-in, Connor and Cindy from concierge, and our butler Landy. As soon as we got out of the car, concierge Cindy greeted us warmly and proactively helped with our luggage, leaving a deep impression. The young man at the front desk who handled our check-in was also very enthusiastic in confirming our booking and upgraded our room for free. Throughout our stay, Connor drove us to and from nearby restaurants, the lighthouse, and Lover's Gorge. He was practically on duty all day until 10 PM, driving steadily and with a truly excellent attitude. He was super cool! Finally, and most importantly, our very, very responsible butler, Landy. She first introduced us to the locations and functions of the different venues, and informed us of the breakfast times. From the moment we added her as a friend, she consistently upheld her initial message: ”Please contact me anytime with any questions.” Whether it was day or night, she would respond and answer immediately to any query, booking vehicles, and even introducing nearby attractions and routes (with accompanying pictures for us to decide whether to visit). During our stay, there was a miscommunication during the cleaning staff's shift change. We had requested no cleaning the day before, but someone still entered the room and tidied it thoroughly. This unannounced entry made us a bit anxious when we returned to the room in the evening. Our butler immediately called us to calm us down and quickly contacted housekeeping. Soon after, we learned it was a thoughtful turndown service. We had initially considered contacting the duty manager to investigate, but we declined. This butler Landy truly, truly deserves praise. Her immediate contact and quick resolution smoothed over the issue, and left us with an extremely satisfying three-day, two-night experience. Her warm and thoughtful greetings every evening and morning made us deeply feel the hotel's excellent staff training and abundant humanistic care! 👏🏻 See you next time, Freedom Intercontinental Palace!

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful stay at Banyan Tree and were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a two-bedroom villa. The villa was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully designed, offering both comfort and a memorable experience. The breakfast was excellent, and we particularly appreciated the effort made to accommodate our strict vegetarian dietary requirements. The buggy services were consistently prompt and efficient. The resort’s location amidst the wetlands provides a unique and tranquil natural setting, though some guests may find it slightly secluded. Communication through WeChat was smooth and responsive. We would also like to especially commend Samiksha, the intern, and the dining team member who spoke both English and Chinese fluently. Their attentiveness and willingness to help significantly enhanced our experience. As areas for improvement, the swimming pool water could have been warmer, and the addition of facilities such as a sauna or jacuzzi would further elevate the guest experience. Overall, we had a very enjoyable and well-managed stay and truly appreciated the warm hospitality of the team.

ZZhaiKHygiene: The hotel's hygiene is excellent and very clean, the room was spotless. Environment: The overall hotel environment is good, the lobby/restaurant area is very comfortable, and the spa environment is particularly great – a wonderful experience! The only slight downside was that our room, a 'Wu You' room, had a view directly facing a row of small dolphin and duck boats in the park, which wasn't very appealing.😅 Service: The service was generally excellent. The butler was very responsive and thoughtfully prepared the room's decor. The hotel's refreshments were good. It would have been an even better experience if they had proactively contacted guests earlier. Facilities: All the facilities were well-equipped, and they provided airport drop-off service. The food was also delicious.

ZZemoZemorIt's like living in a forest, with acorns constantly falling from the trees. The hotel is very clean, with virtually no mosquitoes. The room facilities are all excellent, especially the toilet flushing, which isn't too loud. Special praise goes to the hotel staff; their service was exceptionally good from check-in to check-out. They provided afternoon tea with fruit platters, nuts, and tea; offered ginger soup and ice packs if you had a cold; and promptly came to your room to help with any issues. The hotel only offers vegetarian food. I tried it once, and it was quite good and creative. Compared to the Black Pearl Hotel (averaging 1000 RMB per person), it's definitely not quite as good, but it's much better than other vegetarian restaurants in temples. Every ingredient was very fresh, although there were some issues, like the watermelon in the complimentary fruit platter being sweet and the blueberries being extremely sour. If you don't want vegetarian food, the surrounding farmhouses are a good option, offering fish, chicken, stir-fries, etc. I randomly picked a few and none were bad. The hotel also arranged various courses, including a healing class and Baduanjin (Eight Pieces of Brocade). Lying in a cabin surrounded by trees and feeling the breeze on a platform by the forest river was a truly therapeutic experience! I stayed for two days and there were still many courses I didn't get to try, so I'll make up for them next time! I'll consider bringing my parents next time.

LLinguinyGrand Hyatt is always my first choice when I visit Hangzhou. The location is excellent, right next to West Lake and Intime Department Store, offering a one-stop experience for shopping and sightseeing. Although the hotel has been built for a long time, it doesn't show its age. Both the lobby and room facilities are maintained at a very high standard. I even remember that the old toilets have been updated to smart ones, which many five-star hotels haven't even done yet. Besides its prime location, Grand Hyatt's F&B is truly noteworthy. The food, drinks, and alcoholic beverages are all excellent and definitely worth trying.
