"This hotel by West Lake has a great ambiance and is very close to the lake. The hotel environment is also very good, and the hygiene is clean. The only downside is that there are quite a few rooms, and the soundproofing isn't great. There are two front desks, one on the first floor and one on the fifth, so check-in was quite fast. After checking out at the fifth-floor front desk, you can grab some candy, which is a nice touch."

It's located near a subway entrance, with a convenience store downstairs and some local restaurants across the street, which was great for breakfast. There's a bus nearby that goes directly to West Lake, but the attractions are still a bit spread out, so you'll need to plan your itinerary in advance!"

"I liked this hotel as I'd ben wanting to stay in central Hangzhou for some time. Reception was great and the room had everything I needed. I particularly liked the bed having a selection of pillows asa hotel ones are often too thick and overfilled. The bed suited me. I was also impressed by the slippers. Often, hotel ones are too small and flimsy. I took them home as I didn't want them to go to waste. At the top of the hotel is a revolving restaurant where breakfast was served, although the view is probably better in the evening. Negatives? I was sorry there wasn't a lobby café open when I was there. Sometimes you just want a cup of coffee. Because the hotel is in a busy part of town and Hangzhou drivers use their horns a lot, it will be 11pm by the time you can sleep."

"This hotel by West Lake offers great value for money. First off, the location is fantastic – you just cross the road from the hotel entrance and you're right by West Lake (and the Hubin Yintai commercial area). Secondly, the rooms are quite spacious. (Though the steps in each room were a bit unusual for me, the motion-sensor lights helped, but it wouldn't be very wheelchair-friendly.) Thirdly, the hotel provides some nice extra services like a self-service laundry, Hanfu experience, and lacquer fan making. There's a fridge with both chilling and freezing compartments, and they even give you a thoughtful little gift when you check out (pictured in image 5). Overall, I was very satisfied."

The Haoyi Hotel(Hangzhou West Lake Southern Song Yujie store) is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Haoyi Hotel(Hangzhou West Lake Southern Song Yujie store) is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Hangzhou. The hotel is conveniently located just 1km from Hangzhou Railway Station and 28km from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport. Just a short walk from Ding'an Road Metro Station, traveling to most city destinations is a breeze. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Drum Tower, Dongpoda Theater and Wushan Square all nearby. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"★★★★★ We had a very pleasant stay at Haoyi Hotel. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. Even though we didn’t speak Chinese, they gladly helped us order food and answered our questions, making everything much easier. The breakfast buffet was very convenient and offered a good variety of Chinese and Western options to start the day before exploring Hangzhou. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location worked well for sightseeing. One feature we absolutely loved was the delivery robot. Whenever we ordered food, the robot would bring it directly to our room, which was both convenient and a fun experience—especially for my son, who was excited every time it arrived. The only aspect we weren’t a fan of was the bathroom design. The glass enclosure was almost completely see-through, which offered very little privacy. This is simply a design preference, and we would have preferred a more private bathroom layout. Overall, the excellent service, comfortable rooms, convenient breakfast, and unique robot delivery service made this a very enjoyable stay. We would happily stay here again."

"The hotel staff were incredibly kind; they even helped me carry my suitcase to my room when they saw I was struggling. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, and they even gave me a small gift of fruit upon arrival. The mattress was also exceptionally comfortable. When I checked out and left my luggage at the front desk, a young man patiently helped me with my suitcase. I definitely deserve a good review!"

Hotel near Wulin Square (Downtown Area),Hangzhou
"I struck gold on my trip to Hangzhou! This Hampton by Hilton at 347 Tiyuchang Road in Gongshu District, I'd call it the ultimate value-for-money gem near West Lake. After staying two nights, I just want to move in! First off, the location is simply unbeatable. It's a 5-minute walk to West Lake. In the mornings, you can leisurely stroll over to see the mist enveloping the lotus flowers, and in the evenings, wander along Su Causeway to watch the sunset – no need to cram into buses or hail taxis. Downstairs is the Wulin business district, with trendy milk tea shops and authentic Hangzhou cuisine. You can shop till you drop, and it's super convenient to visit the West Lake Culture Plaza for exhibitions or the Wulin Night Market for snacks. The moment I stepped into the hotel, the HUB lobby captivated me. Its modern design blends with the gentle beauty of Jiangnan, featuring metal grilles and warm lighting. I couldn't resist taking over a dozen photos as soon as I put down my luggage. And I must especially praise the breakfast! I honestly didn't have high hopes for hotel breakfast, but they actually had freshly made Pian'er Chuan chicken noodle soup! The broth, simmered with fresh bamboo shoots, lean pork, and pickled vegetables, was incredibly flavorful, and the noodles were smooth and springy. After a hearty meal, you can head to the fitness center for a workout or use the self-service laundry room to wash your clothes – it's perfect for families traveling. What surprised me most was the exceptionally thoughtful service. When I returned to my room in the evening, there were 'goodnight' snacks and some fruit. Once, I left my sunscreen in the lobby after going out, and the front desk attendant specially kept it for me, treating me like a friend. In this weather, after sweating all day exploring West Lake, coming back to the hotel for a shower and relaxing is so much more comfortable than staying in those overcrowded trendy B&Bs."

With its contemporary minimalist design and practical, efficient service philosophy, the hotel offers business travelers and transit passengers a convenient and comfortable accommodation experience. It is an ideal choice for those with layovers in Hangzhou or early/late flight schedules.

"Only found out at the airport that my flight was cancelled due to bad weather. Decided to stay at the airport for a night. The service was excellent; they allowed us to check in early. When we ran out of water in the room, the front desk immediately brought us two more bottles. I'm not sure if it was because of the flight cancellation, but the room was incredibly quiet. It exceeded my expectations, definitely a positive review."

The hotel is right in front of the bus stop. If you're walking from Metro Line 1, you'll pass through a commercial street, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The lobby has excellent air conditioning, and there's a free coffee machine and tea available. The room isn't huge, but it looks exactly like the promotional pictures. The smart home features throughout the room are very convenient, and I was quite satisfied. The only minor thing is the mirror facing the bed, but you can just cover it with a towel if it bothers you. The hotel service was also excellent; it was pouring rain when we arrived, and while we were resting in the lobby, the front desk staff kept checking on us. Even the cleaning staff was very polite when we asked for our room to be tidied.

Had a wonderful three-day, two-night stay at the Fuchun Resort, a place I've long admired. The architecture, rich in Chinese aesthetics, blends seamlessly with the natural environment of Fuyang, creating a truly harmonious feel. Hiking here was wonderfully wild and scenic. The resort's thoughtful service was evident in every detail: from the welcome greeting and the consistently helpful and responsive personal butler (Benson) before arrival, to the doorman's proactive and natural assistance with luggage, and the waitress's meticulous inquiry about dietary preferences at breakfast. All these touches reflect the hotel's high standards of service and made me feel truly respected. I even left my hat in the calligraphy class and only realized it when the instructor notified me and said it would be promptly returned to the lobby. The shuttle drivers were also very punctual, almost always available on call. The housekeeping staff were diligent and friendly. The hotel also offers a wide range of activities, and the travel photography service was particularly high quality. Fuchun Resort truly lives up to its reputation as a high-end resort. I'd love to visit again!

Two nights, three days – I'd always heard that when it comes to hotels in Qiandao Lake, there's the InterContinental and then there's everything else. This trip really drove that point home. The drive from Wuxi to Qiandao Lake takes four hours. Since the InterContinental occupies its own island, having a car makes getting around much easier. The scenery along the Hangzhou Ring Expressway leading to Qiandao Lake is absolutely stunning, especially once you enter Qiandao Lake itself, with its myriad of winding islands and towering mountains. As soon as you exit the highway, you're practically in the mountains. The InterContinental's flags lining the mountain road gave a real 'welcome home' feeling. Driving with the windows down along the lake, you're enveloped in fresh, oxygen-rich air. Before even entering the hotel, I spotted the lighthouse and the Arc de Triomphe. The hotel lobby entrance is a beautiful photo op, a perfect blend of lake and sky. I stayed in a lake view room, and the view was absolutely breathtaking, overlooking Qiandao Lake. Add a Qiandao Lake beer, and my mood was instantly uplifted. The floor-to-ceiling windows had a sofa for enjoying the view. The room was spacious and very well-maintained. They even provided a crib for my child, which was reassuring. The toiletries were excellent, and the bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak. I'd read many reviews about the dinner, and after trying it myself, I thought it was quite good. While the variety might not be extensive, it was definitely sufficient, and the taste was decent. For breakfast, I'd seen reviews mentioning long queues, but it's really just for registering your room number. Seating was quick, and the food was good. I recommend sitting by the window in the priority seating area, where you can see the infinity pool seamlessly blend with the Qiandao Lake scenery. Swan Lake offers animal feeding, but this area could definitely be improved. There were too few animals, and I suggest increasing the interactivity. The kids' club has different zones, but I think it could be even better. The space is quite large, and with better planning and layout, a more integrated approach could offer more movement options for kids, and improved climbing and ground-level activities. I highly recommend both the infinity pool and the indoor pool. My kids didn't want to leave! The pools have shallow and deep areas, catering to children of all ages. You can also rent or buy swimming gear at the hotel, which is very convenient. The scenery is stunning, and the water quality is excellent. Being a large hotel, it's perfect for an evening stroll, whether to the viewing platform, the lighthouse, or just along the lake – it's very relaxing. Renting an electric tour car for 120/hour is a great way to explore the mountains comfortably in the summer. The hotel offers many activities, such as children's themed events and morning guided hikes. It would be even better if they added more water activities or equipment. It's wonderful to slow down and relax on this tranquil island amidst a busy life. Finally, a special thank you to 'Butler Landy'. Landy's service was impeccable – attentive, thoughtful, and reliably efficient. She responded quickly and resolved any issues. I felt her genuine sincerity throughout, and the service experience was top-notch. If you stay here, you must find her!

I brought my family for a relaxing, slow-paced summer trip. We booked two suites and stayed for 6 days, and the experience was truly great. The location is absolutely fantastic! Turn right out of the hotel and you're at the Intime commercial district in just 20 meters. West Lake is only a 5-minute walk away, or you can even cut through Intime, which is perfect on rainy days. During the day, after visiting scenic spots, we could head to the commercial street in the evening for food and drinks – it perfectly suited our rhythm. Although the rooms are a bit dated, the cleanliness and service were excellent. The housekeepers on our floor were so warm and friendly every day, even helping me fold clothes. The 10th-floor observation deck was amazing; we could overlook West Lake without even leaving the hotel. Breakfast was very good, and the dishes changed daily throughout our 6-day stay. The only minor flaw was the somewhat inconvenient placement of cutlery; it should be available in both the front and back sections. Also, there should be bowls where the milk and cereal are. Overall, the experience was great, and I would definitely choose to stay here again.

It's like living in a forest, with acorns constantly falling from the trees. The hotel is very clean, with virtually no mosquitoes. The room facilities are all excellent, especially the toilet flushing, which isn't too loud. Special praise goes to the hotel staff; their service was exceptionally good from check-in to check-out. They provided afternoon tea with fruit platters, nuts, and tea; offered ginger soup and ice packs if you had a cold; and promptly came to your room to help with any issues. The hotel only offers vegetarian food. I tried it once, and it was quite good and creative. Compared to the Black Pearl Hotel (averaging 1000 RMB per person), it's definitely not quite as good, but it's much better than other vegetarian restaurants in temples. Every ingredient was very fresh, although there were some issues, like the watermelon in the complimentary fruit platter being sweet and the blueberries being extremely sour. If you don't want vegetarian food, the surrounding farmhouses are a good option, offering fish, chicken, stir-fries, etc. I randomly picked a few and none were bad. The hotel also arranged various courses, including a healing class and Baduanjin (Eight Pieces of Brocade). Lying in a cabin surrounded by trees and feeling the breeze on a platform by the forest river was a truly therapeutic experience! I stayed for two days and there were still many courses I didn't get to try, so I'll make up for them next time! I'll consider bringing my parents next time.

Our stay at Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou was so memorable and absolutely magnificent that highlights remain sharp, vivid, and immensely uplifting. As tea lovers, it would have been lovely enough to be back in deciduous forests with bursting red maples and bright yellow Ginko trees accentuating autumn colors surrounding the beautifully manicured Longjing (Dragon Well) tea plantations that rest quietly within the hills of the peaceful landscape so very close to the resort—next to and just across the street, in fact! However, our trip’s joys skyrocketed with our stay at the Landison. The staff was totally fantastic! Exceptional service in every way. Working with a phone translator Tracy, Brandy, Wen Yi (I hope his name is spelled correctly!), and Chris provided patient, attentive, and thorough care, concern, and heartwarming attention as they fully considered and answered our many daily questions on where to go, what to do, how to get there and back. (We were thrilled to use the excellent public transportation in and around Hangzhou. The hotel is just meters from the bus stop of two main lines. These buses provided easy connections to other main lines linking us to much of the rest of the city) Staff also guided us where to buy excellent tea, which turned out to be right there at the hotel, as well as from other lovely teashops nearby! Landison’s breakfast menu, included in our booking, remained the same throughout our stay and never disappointed. Every day we enjoyed a large selection of beautiful, delicious food that included fresh fruit, vegetables, egg dishes of differing styles, rice, dim sum, pastries, and our go-to each day: a piping hot bowl of noodles, prepared to order by the chef standing behind the varied selection of noodles and fixings! There was so much fresh, delicious, interesting, vegetarian cuisine we can’t account for the entire extensive buffet. The dining staff was totally incredible with their refined, careful, complete attention. Dining Room Manager Xu became our dear, memorable friend, offering us sweet, caring personal attention and comfort throughout our visit. We couldn’t help feeling disappointed when we didn’t see her the day before we were to leave. When we returned to the hotel for the evening and saw her through a dining room window, we popped into the area to say hello and a magical connection manifested that only world travel can provide, when the distance between two vastly different cultures disappears under the glow of human kindness, warmth, and connection. She provided such outstanding delight for us that our hearts hurt when we had to say goodbye to her. When she translated on her mobile phone, “looking forward to seeing you again,” we smiled broadly and added a very hopeful nod in agreement. Extra lovely perks included nightly delivery of a delicate, nourishing white mushroom soup to keep us warm and help us sleep, a specialty of the establishment. It was tasty and nurturing every day! The housekeeping staff was amiable and friendly, mutually acknowledging and appreciating the human relationship!  In addition, the parking area staff offered cheerful, welcoming, and happy engagement with us throughout our stay. Our extraordinary stay at the Landison is the kind of experience that highlights the vast benefits of world travel where the barriers of worldly concerns and tensions can fade away or even disappear into the significant and transformative mix and engagement with a time and place different from where we come from or know habitually. Where one realizes that, although time and place may differ considerably and provide many positive catalysts for meaningful change, the human heart and mind are inextricably linked together by way of mutual desires for happiness, well-being, safety, expression, and connection, however that may unfold in its immeasurable arrangements. Thank you very much, Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou, for helping to create an amazing lifetime memory.

Facilities: Excellent. Cleanliness: Spotless every day. Environment: Beautiful surroundings, very close to West Lake scenic area, just a few minutes' walk away. Service: Extremely warm and welcoming. The front desk staff even upgraded our rooms and arranged them together so it was easier to look after the children. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit.
