"The room was fantastic, with a great rain shower that was very refreshing. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were excellent. The front desk was very thoughtful and welcoming during check-in, demonstrating a high level of professionalism befitting a four-star hotel. During my stay, the housekeeping staff truly understood customer needs and showed great initiative. On my first night, I took some laundry detergent in a paper packet from the self-service laundry room back to my room. The next day, after returning from sightseeing, I found a small travel-sized bottle of Blue Moon laundry detergent next to the sink. This kind of service, where the hotel anticipates and provides for a customer's needs without being asked, and without making a big deal out of it afterwards, is truly impressive. I believe this level of service is spot on and definitely deserves a 5-star rating!"

"The hotel's location is truly excellent, very close to the subway station, and surrounded by bustling areas. While it may not offer a direct first-row view of West Lake, its 15th-floor view is actually superior to many lower-story hotels right on the lake, providing a panoramic vista of West Lake. The hotel facilities are complete and seem very new. The bedding in the room was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The toiletries and bathroom fixtures were from high-end brands, indicating good quality. Even the bottled water provided included six bottles of Nongfu Spring, along with milk and soda, plus two additional bottles specifically for tea. There was also a cute little night light Bluetooth speaker for playing music. However, I felt the cleanliness details were not well handled. Initially, upon entering the room, I was thoroughly impressed and touched by various details, even taking photos to write a good review. But when I changed into slippers, I noticed a lot of hair on the floor, especially prominent on the carpet. I initially decided to overlook it, but after showering, I found a long hair on the bath towel and another on the toilet, which instantly disgusted me. After I provided feedback, the staff responded quickly, moving me to a different room that had no issues, and offered a complimentary breakfast. Breakfast brought my good impression of the hotel back up again. The breakfast restaurant is on the 20th floor and is a revolving buffet, so the view is simply unbeatable. The variety of food was also very comprehensive, making for a great experience. Overall, if the cleanliness details were better managed, this hotel, given its location, actually offers much better value for money than hotels right by the lake. It's highly recommended."

"This hotel by West Lake offers great value for money. First off, the location is fantastic – you just cross the road from the hotel entrance and you're right by West Lake (and the Hubin Yintai commercial area). Secondly, the rooms are quite spacious. (Though the steps in each room were a bit unusual for me, the motion-sensor lights helped, but it wouldn't be very wheelchair-friendly.) Thirdly, the hotel provides some nice extra services like a self-service laundry, Hanfu experience, and lacquer fan making. There's a fridge with both chilling and freezing compartments, and they even give you a thoughtful little gift when you check out (pictured in image 5). Overall, I was very satisfied."

The Haoyi Hotel(Hangzhou West Lake Southern Song Yujie store) is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Haoyi Hotel(Hangzhou West Lake Southern Song Yujie store) is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Hangzhou. The hotel is conveniently located just 1km from Hangzhou Railway Station and 28km from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport. Just a short walk from Ding'an Road Metro Station, traveling to most city destinations is a breeze. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Drum Tower, Dongpoda Theater and Wushan Square all nearby. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"★★★★★ We had a very pleasant stay at Haoyi Hotel. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. Even though we didn’t speak Chinese, they gladly helped us order food and answered our questions, making everything much easier. The breakfast buffet was very convenient and offered a good variety of Chinese and Western options to start the day before exploring Hangzhou. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location worked well for sightseeing. One feature we absolutely loved was the delivery robot. Whenever we ordered food, the robot would bring it directly to our room, which was both convenient and a fun experience—especially for my son, who was excited every time it arrived. The only aspect we weren’t a fan of was the bathroom design. The glass enclosure was almost completely see-through, which offered very little privacy. This is simply a design preference, and we would have preferred a more private bathroom layout. Overall, the excellent service, comfortable rooms, convenient breakfast, and unique robot delivery service made this a very enjoyable stay. We would happily stay here again."

Hotel near Wulin Square (Downtown Area),Hangzhou
"I struck gold on my trip to Hangzhou! This Hampton by Hilton at 347 Tiyuchang Road in Gongshu District, I'd call it the ultimate value-for-money gem near West Lake. After staying two nights, I just want to move in! First off, the location is simply unbeatable. It's a 5-minute walk to West Lake. In the mornings, you can leisurely stroll over to see the mist enveloping the lotus flowers, and in the evenings, wander along Su Causeway to watch the sunset – no need to cram into buses or hail taxis. Downstairs is the Wulin business district, with trendy milk tea shops and authentic Hangzhou cuisine. You can shop till you drop, and it's super convenient to visit the West Lake Culture Plaza for exhibitions or the Wulin Night Market for snacks. The moment I stepped into the hotel, the HUB lobby captivated me. Its modern design blends with the gentle beauty of Jiangnan, featuring metal grilles and warm lighting. I couldn't resist taking over a dozen photos as soon as I put down my luggage. And I must especially praise the breakfast! I honestly didn't have high hopes for hotel breakfast, but they actually had freshly made Pian'er Chuan chicken noodle soup! The broth, simmered with fresh bamboo shoots, lean pork, and pickled vegetables, was incredibly flavorful, and the noodles were smooth and springy. After a hearty meal, you can head to the fitness center for a workout or use the self-service laundry room to wash your clothes – it's perfect for families traveling. What surprised me most was the exceptionally thoughtful service. When I returned to my room in the evening, there were 'goodnight' snacks and some fruit. Once, I left my sunscreen in the lobby after going out, and the front desk attendant specially kept it for me, treating me like a friend. In this weather, after sweating all day exploring West Lake, coming back to the hotel for a shower and relaxing is so much more comfortable than staying in those overcrowded trendy B&Bs."

With its contemporary minimalist design and practical, efficient service philosophy, the hotel offers business travelers and transit passengers a convenient and comfortable accommodation experience. It is an ideal choice for those with layovers in Hangzhou or early/late flight schedules.

"This Hyatt hotel is located inside the airport, which is a fantastic location right next to the immigration and departure floors. It meant we didn't have to get to the airport too early to wait. The bedding was comfortable. Breakfast only started at 6:00 AM, so we just grabbed a breakfast box which had a bottle of milk and four pieces of bread/cake. In the evening, there was a live singer at the restaurant, which created a very relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. Thumbs up! 👍🏻"

I stayed at this Mercure hotel on Fengqi Road during my trip, and the location was absolutely fantastic. It's just a short walk from the subway station, making it super convenient whether you're visiting West Lake or exploring the shopping districts. The room was very clean, and the soundproofing was decent, so I had a pretty good night's sleep. Wanwan (presumably a staff member) was efficient and easy to communicate with whenever I had questions. The breakfast was standard, nothing extraordinary, but enough to fill you up and get a good start to the day. Overall, it offers good value for money, and it's a great place to stay when visiting Hangzhou.

The hotel is right in front of the bus stop. If you're walking from Metro Line 1, you'll pass through a commercial street, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The lobby has excellent air conditioning, and there's a free coffee machine and tea available. The room isn't huge, but it looks exactly like the promotional pictures. The smart home features throughout the room are very convenient, and I was quite satisfied. The only minor thing is the mirror facing the bed, but you can just cover it with a towel if it bothers you. The hotel service was also excellent; it was pouring rain when we arrived, and while we were resting in the lobby, the front desk staff kept checking on us. Even the cleaning staff was very polite when we asked for our room to be tidied.

Had a wonderful three-day, two-night stay at the Fuchun Resort, a place I've long admired. The architecture, rich in Chinese aesthetics, blends seamlessly with the natural environment of Fuyang, creating a truly harmonious feel. Hiking here was wonderfully wild and scenic. The resort's thoughtful service was evident in every detail: from the welcome greeting and the consistently helpful and responsive personal butler (Benson) before arrival, to the doorman's proactive and natural assistance with luggage, and the waitress's meticulous inquiry about dietary preferences at breakfast. All these touches reflect the hotel's high standards of service and made me feel truly respected. I even left my hat in the calligraphy class and only realized it when the instructor notified me and said it would be promptly returned to the lobby. The shuttle drivers were also very punctual, almost always available on call. The housekeeping staff were diligent and friendly. The hotel also offers a wide range of activities, and the travel photography service was particularly high quality. Fuchun Resort truly lives up to its reputation as a high-end resort. I'd love to visit again!

InterContinental Qiandao Lake, exclusively occupying the Xian Shan Peninsula, is a scenic destination in itself, perfect for a slow-paced getaway. The hotel offers a rich variety of dining options. The breakfast buffet on the first floor boasts a wide selection, and we enjoyed several excellent meals at the Chinese restaurant. The late-night diner on the fifth floor, opening at 9 PM, became a regular treat for the kids after swimming, serving various instant noodles with fresh eggs and vegetables. There's also a Japanese restaurant outside the lobby, perfect for a relaxed meal after a scenic walk or bike ride around the lake. You can rent bicycles and 'Panda cars' to explore the island. The peninsula is ecologically pristine, with blue butterflies dancing and swallows flitting about, showcasing abundant wildlife. Both indoor and outdoor pools have regularly changed water and are well-maintained. The hotel also has its own yacht pier; simply book at the front desk or buy tickets at the lobby shop for direct access to Huangshan Peak, making travel incredibly convenient. The most heartwarming part of our stay was the housekeeping auntie. When she saw my child's summer homework spread out, she thoughtfully placed an eye-protection desk lamp, noticing the dim light in the room. This small act of kindness was truly touching. With one island, one hotel, far from the hustle and bustle, nestled between the lake and mountains, enjoying nature in peace – this is the ideal state of a vacation.

It's like living in a forest, with acorns constantly falling from the trees. The hotel is very clean, with virtually no mosquitoes. The room facilities are all excellent, especially the toilet flushing, which isn't too loud. Special praise goes to the hotel staff; their service was exceptionally good from check-in to check-out. They provided afternoon tea with fruit platters, nuts, and tea; offered ginger soup and ice packs if you had a cold; and promptly came to your room to help with any issues. The hotel only offers vegetarian food. I tried it once, and it was quite good and creative. Compared to the Black Pearl Hotel (averaging 1000 RMB per person), it's definitely not quite as good, but it's much better than other vegetarian restaurants in temples. Every ingredient was very fresh, although there were some issues, like the watermelon in the complimentary fruit platter being sweet and the blueberries being extremely sour. If you don't want vegetarian food, the surrounding farmhouses are a good option, offering fish, chicken, stir-fries, etc. I randomly picked a few and none were bad. The hotel also arranged various courses, including a healing class and Baduanjin (Eight Pieces of Brocade). Lying in a cabin surrounded by trees and feeling the breeze on a platform by the forest river was a truly therapeutic experience! I stayed for two days and there were still many courses I didn't get to try, so I'll make up for them next time! I'll consider bringing my parents next time.

The location is unbeatable; it's convenient for getting everywhere by subway or bus, with most stops just a 5-minute walk away. The service was excellent, warm and attentive. I couldn't book a family room for my second night, but they kindly helped arrange it so I didn't have to switch rooms. A big thank you to the lovely front desk staff! The room, both in terms of decor and facilities, is a bit old-fashioned, but it offers great value for money. The fact that it also accommodates foreign guests speaks volumes about its quality.
