Greeted very well with the business reception manager, 张娟 for arranging our tour and 张向军, the cafe manager for the pleasant service while having breakfast. Wulin market is just a stone away from hotel. Wuxi lake is also nearby. Very convenient.

Lovely hotel in a great location by West Lake, and near great restaurants and shopping centre, also night markets. Room was huge and well appointed. I would stay here again.

Check in to the hotel was smooth but once I arrived in the room I saw a big spider 🕷️ in the bath tub which made me feel very uncomfortable,Hygiene is the most important part for the hotels, I believe pest control has to be done regularly . Secondly I was called and told to come down in the late night to give back the glasses which I borrowed from the lobby lounge, which was horrible, Chef Derek and Effie from FO, was very proactive, they are doing a great job 👏

My family enjoyed our stay in Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Hangzhou. The rooms were clean. The staff including receptionists and cleaners were courteous and helpful. We also paid for the hotel buffet which has a wide selection on food. The hotel is also next to the Wulin night market. It is also within walking distance to the West Lake which is a popular tourist attraction. Highly recommended.

The proximity to West Lake makes it easy to take early morning or evening walks along the picturesque waterfront, which I found very calming. Additionally, the hotel is close to several popular shopping streets, including Hubin Road, where you can find both luxury brands and local shops. There are also plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby, giving guests many dining options beyond the hotel itself. 2. Warm and Efficient Check-in Process From the moment I entered the hotel, I was greeted warmly by the staff. The lobby is spacious, elegant, and well-lit, giving off a luxurious yet comfortable vibe. Check-in was smooth and quick, with the front desk staff offering a welcome drink upon arrival. I appreciated their professionalism—they spoke fluent English and were well-prepared to answer all my questions about nearby attractions and transportation options. One thing that stood out was their attentiveness; they noticed I had traveled a long way and offered to expedite my check-in, which was a thoughtful touch. 3. In addition to the breakfast buffet, the hotel offers several dining options throughout the day. I dined at their Chinese restaurant one evening, which specializes in Hangzhou cuisine. The dishes were authentic and flavorful—definitely a highlight of my trip. I recommend trying the local specialty, Dongpo Pork, which was cooked to perfection. Room service was also available 24/7, and I tried it once when I returned late from sightseeing. The food was delivered promptly, and the quality was on par with the restaurant meals.
