"Although the hotel is already ten years old, the facilities are still very well maintained. The check-in and check-out processes were both quick. The only issue was that some guests had low etiquette standards, talking loudly in the hallway after midnight. However, this has nothing to do with the hotel itself."

GGuest UserI've lived in Macau for a few years, and since I prefer quiet places, I chose this hotel over the popular '网红' (influencer-favorite) ones. I highly recommend their rooms with a view! You can see several iconic buildings of the Sands Resorts, and the view is definitely one of the best in Cotai.
The room is relatively new and quite spacious, and the bathtub is huge! You can control the room with a tablet, and the flow of movement is well-designed. However, the decor style isn't particularly distinctive, though it does have a smart toilet. The welcome flat peaches were good, but the chocolate wasn't tasty, as strange as the dessert after dinner at The Kitchen downstairs. The amenities are noteworthy; the toiletries are Acqua di Parma, the drinking water is Nordaq, the slippers are thick and comfortable, and the minibar is well-stocked.
Regarding dining, breakfast is semi-buffet style, and the quality is good, though the variety is a bit limited. The à la carte main courses and soup are Chinese, along with a seafood dish and juice. The Western pastries in the buffet area could be improved; the round bread was dry, the croissants were mediocre, but the muffins were delicious, and the Chinese options were excellent. Overall, the good outweighs the bad. Downstairs, they have my favorite steakhouse in Macau (The Kitchen) and Cantonese restaurant (Jade Dragon). The bar at Alain Ducasse at Morpheus next door is also good. Many restaurants are a bit of a distance from the hotel and involve some winding paths, so they might be hard to find if you're not familiar with the area.
Both the front desk and housekeeping services were excellent; they were responsive to all requests and very thoughtful. The front desk proactively arranged a room with a view for me, and housekeeping patiently fulfilled my various demands. There were some issues with cleanliness, but the staff actively and promptly resolved them, and I even received a bottle of sparkling tea. The rain shower had a minor leak, and the problem persisted after repairs, so the hotel offered fruit as compensation.
The housekeeping staff's uniforms look quite comfortable, which is great if they are! I noticed the tops are short-sleeved with a small slit at the back, the ladies' bottoms are culottes of appropriate length, and their shoes are sneakers.

Facilities: The Morpheus boasts a unique architectural style, with a lobby and elevators that feel incredibly futuristic. The hotel also features exhibitions and a rooftop pool, making it perfect for a staycation. The smart home devices throughout the room are super convenient, and the toiletries are Acqua di Parma, with a long-lasting scent – I'd give them a solid thumbs up.
Hygiene: The room's cleanliness was impeccable, spotless and tidy. Public areas like the lobby, shopping mall, and corridors were also very clean.
Environment: There's a bus stop just a short walk from the entrance, and shuttle buses and taxis are also readily available.
Service: At check-in, I was offered a welcome tea. I was then personally escorted to my room, where the staff introduced all the room's features. The entire process was thoughtful and attentive. When checking out and collecting my luggage, staff members immediately approached to offer assistance.
P.S.: The mini-bar offers a rich variety of drinks, beer, snacks, instant noodles, fruit, and almond cookies – perfect for a late-night snack. Turndown service was proactively offered, and even when not requested, essential oils were provided.

GGuest UserFor our 2-day-1-night trip to Macau this time, we stayed at the Altira Hotel, watched The House of Dancing Water, and enjoyed a buffet to celebrate my husband's birthday. I really appreciate the hotel's thoughtful birthday decorations, cake, and fruit platter. My husband was so surprised and happy! They even extended our check-out time until 1:00 PM. The room was offered at a fantastic promotional price – super great value, spacious, comfortable, and with an unbeatable sea view. The shower area had a huge round bathtub with bath salts, perfect for soaking away the day's fatigue. We'd definitely want to stay here again next time.

St. Regis Staff: Security is polite, front desk is polite, essentially all staff are professional and courteous.
Facilities: The bar on the 2nd floor is very popular, offering a single light drink set for around $2xx, which includes a glass of champagne, an oyster, a small bowl of spicy peanuts, and a small bowl of olives. The gym is excellent, with beautiful night views, new and diverse equipment, disinfectant wipes, a water dispenser, chilled Pocari Sweat, cold towels, and regular towels. The changing rooms have a jacuzzi and sauna, all free of charge. The pool provides swimming noodles and kickboards, has warm and cold water, and also offers towels, all free.
What truly surprised me was the butler service. My teddy bear was initially just lying on the bed. After returning to the room from dinner, I found that Butler Kevin had dressed my bear in a bathrobe and eye mask, and even covered it with its own blanket. I was so touched I almost cried. Many thanks to Butler Kevin for providing such wonderful surprises and immense emotional value!!!
The St. Regis Macao has incredibly dedicated staff, absolutely outstanding!!!!!

GGuest UserOur stay was wonderful! It happened to be my daughter's birthday, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared a cake and a card, which was a really heartwarming gesture. Although we couldn't get a free upgrade due to high occupancy that day, they kindly arranged a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower, which made our experience fantastic. I'm looking forward to unlocking the Big Ben room on our next stay. We'll definitely choose this hotel again!

GGuest UserI really love the service at this hotel; it's so comfortable and pleasant. As soon as you enter, the bell staff greets you and helps with your luggage. When I needed a late checkout, Cynthia from the front desk was very attentive and helpful. She even gave me a small gift and assisted in calling the bell staff. Xiao Chen from the bell staff arrived promptly and had a wonderful attitude.

GGuest UserThe connecting room was very spacious, and we stayed for five nights. Our original room was on the second floor, but we paid extra to upgrade to the eighth floor. The sea view from the room was excellent. The hotel's breakfast and service were also great, and there's a daily shuttle to Grand Lisboa Palace. The only regret is that starting from the third night, I developed an itchy rash all over my body. My child also had it slightly, but he recovered within two days. Even after returning to Beijing from Macau, the rash continued, especially on my legs, to the point where I couldn't sleep at night due to the itching. I went to the hospital and was diagnosed with insect bites, which can appear within 1-10 days, and it still hasn't cleared up. I suspect it might have been caused by dust mites in the hotel's bathrobes or bedding.

SShuozoujiuzoukaopumaHotels in Macau are so much better than those in Hong Kong, honestly. For a similar or even lower price, you get a much bigger room. I've stayed at the Londoner in Taipa before, but if you're looking to explore the old streets rather than just shopping malls and casinos, staying on the Macau Peninsula, in the old town, is much more convenient. This time, I chose the New Orient Landmark; it wasn't expensive, and the room was quite spacious. While it's not brand new, it's well-maintained. The room even came with a dehumidifier. It's a short walk to Wynn Macau, Lisboa, and Grand Lisboa. Strolling to the Ruins of St. Paul's and Rua de Cinco de Outubro is also easy. There are also buses nearby to Coloane and other areas. Really, the entire old town isn't that big; it feels like everything is within a three-kilometer radius. If you enjoy walking, you can get everywhere on foot. It was definitely a much better experience compared to the hotel I stayed at later in Hong Kong.

The space was large and very comfortable to sleep in. Plus, it had a window for ventilation, which is great for air quality, as many hotels in Macau don't have windows. Late check-out was also a plus. There's a restaurant downstairs and even a massage place. It was absolutely fantastic! 👍👍👍

GGuest UserFolks, let me tell you, for being in the city center, this is a pretty charming, decent, almost retro hotel. The staff are very pleasant and always smiling. There are tons of shops and restaurants around. Exchange offices are just 2 minutes away. If you see a more or less reasonable price around 500, it's better to book the hotel in advance if you need it for several days or a week, as the price changes daily from 500 to 900 closer to the weekends. Reading reviews of other hotels in the area that are cheaper, there have been cases of personal belongings and money being stolen from rooms. In any case, always be careful. It's better to overpay a hundred or two dollars for a few days than to lose half your cash and deal with the police. I'm sure it's safe here. For those who need it, there's a bathtub where you can relax. Overall, it's good, I like it here!!!🫶🧘🏻♂️💁♂️🍀
