Altira Macau

The room is spacious, clean, and tidy, with excellent wet and dry separation – perfect! We stayed on the 18th floor and had an unobstructed view of the river. The transportation nearby is very convenient, making it easy to get to all the tourist attractions.

This hotel completely exceeded my expectations. Located on the Taipa side, between Taipa and the Macau Peninsula, it offers convenient transportation with a bus stop right downstairs, making it close to all the main attractions. The hotel itself looks luxurious and is easily the most beautiful building in the area. Amazing View: Check-in is on the 38th floor, and my room also faced the Grand Lisboa with a direct sea view. Lounging on the sofa, watching Macau's fishing boats during the day and the colorful lights of the Macau Peninsula at night – it was incredibly relaxing. Hotel Service: The room attendant on the 29th floor, though male, was exceptionally thoughtful. He cleaned the room spotless daily and, noticing my glasses on the table, left a glasses cleaning cloth – a really nice touch. The daily fruit was always fresh and replenished. Overall, I'm very satisfied. The only minor drawback is that because the hotel is above a commercial area, getting around can be a little inconvenient. You need to go down to the 10th floor and then transfer to a different elevator. However, it's just a short detour. Also, the check-in process could be improved; the system was slow and there were many steps. Check-out, on the other hand, was quick. Hopefully, they can make some improvements there. I wish them continued success.

This is a five-star hotel, yet the hygiene is absolutely unacceptable. My child and I used the bathtub, and three days later, they broke out in a full-body rash. The dermatologist at the hospital immediately identified it as folliculitis, saying it was a bacterial infection picked up outside. When asked where we had been and if we'd gone swimming, it immediately clicked that it must have been from bathing in the hotel's bathtub. I'm truly speechless 😓 that it could be so dirty! I'll never go back; this hotel is on my blacklist forever.

This was my first time in Macau, and I chose Altira Macau. I was a bit apprehensive at first, but I was really drawn to their circular bathtub. From the moment I arrived, a bellboy helped with my luggage all the way to my room after check-in. The room was neat and clean. After returning from an outing on the first day, the room service staff noticed I enjoyed tea and coffee, so they proactively left extra drinking water and even a thoughtful note. We were incredibly touched and felt the warmth of the hotel. This experience makes me confidently recommend Altira Macau to any friends visiting Macau in the future. Huge thanks to the hotel for such a satisfying stay; it left a deep impression on us. Taxis are readily available right outside the hotel, there are many great restaurants nearby, and public transport to both the north and south islands is very convenient. Highly recommended! If I come to Macau again, I wouldn't hesitate to choose you all!

This was my first time staying at this hotel, and we booked a sea-view room. We arrived from the airport around 8 PM, and stepping into the room, we were greeted by a beautiful night view of Macau. The complimentary fruit was delicious, and there was a large bathtub – adding some bath salts and soaking in it instantly washed away the day's fatigue. We also ordered breakfast in the room, and it was delivered punctually the next morning. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the server was very professional, arranging all the pastries and drinks beautifully, almost like bringing the entire restaurant into our room. Enjoying breakfast with that sea view was truly therapeutic. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my future trips to Macau.
