"Let's start with the downsides. Probably due to the older decor, there was a bit of an odor in the hallway, and the guest room door was extremely heavy to push open. The garden view is basically just a neighborhood pocket park; if you want a nice view, you'd probably have to go for a river view room. On the positive side, the dining was good—the welcome fruit was fresh and included local specialty fried dough twists (Youzanzi). I almost always visit the Chinese restaurant at every Shangri-La I stay at, and there are always dishes that leave me very satisfied, though the prices are a bit on the higher side. Additionally, the hotel is close to a shopping mall and not far from the subway, making getting around quite convenient overall."

"Upon check-in, we were upgraded to the Crowne Plaza next door. The location is excellent, very close to Tianyi Square and not far from the train station – a Didi ride is less than 10 yuan. It's super convenient for visiting attractions like Tianyige, Yuehu Lake, and Chenghuang Temple. The hotel breakfast was plentiful. The family room had one large bed and one small bed, perfectly accommodating our family of four. We'll definitely choose this hotel again for our next trip!"

"Absolutely fantastic review! First off, I checked in around 12:30 PM, and the room was already clean and ready for occupancy. Secondly, the room was very spacious, and the cleanliness was excellent. Most importantly, it was incredibly soundproof. Aside from some renovation noise outside the door in the morning, it was completely quiet at night and during other times of the day. On the basement level of Building A, there's a pool and a gym. The gym was pretty empty, but the pool had a lot of parents with children playing. Let's talk about the location. It's a 20-minute walk to Gulou and less than a 10-minute taxi ride to Ningbo Station. The hotel also offers free shuttle service to the train station and airport, but it's on the hour (e.g., 2 PM, 3 PM), so you need to inform the hotel a day in advance if you want to use it. You can also order a lot of delicious takeout nearby, and many popular restaurants featured on Xiaohongshu are covered by the hotel's vicinity. The price was also very reasonable when I booked, less than 400 RMB a night. I would definitely consider staying here again if I visit Ningbo in the future."
