"It was quite late when I arrived, but the front desk service was excellent. They proactively asked about my arrival time and if I had any room preferences for my room type. The breakfast the next day was also great, with a wide variety and good taste. When I checked out, they even gave me ice cream and a souvenir. I'll definitely come back to stay again!"

Cynthia from the front desk called ahead to confirm everything, and since we were traveling with a child, she arranged for a quiet floor and even gave us a complimentary kids' breakfast buffet – such thoughtful service. Upon arrival, they upgraded us to a family room. The room was spacious and clean, and the facilities were quite good. Although it's not a brand-new hotel, our overall experience was excellent. "The Holiday Inn Express is right next to the Crowne Plaza, sharing the same courtyard and parking garage. It's an economy hotel, quite simple and straightforward. The room was reasonably spacious and well-equipped, and the shower had good hot water pressure. The only thing is that the bathroom was internal, so it felt a little stuffy when first entering. The breakfast buffet was pretty standard, not particularly lavish, but it had all the basics, which is fair enough for an economy hotel. The location is quite excellent. It's convenient for sightseeing; you can walk left out of the lobby for about half an hour to reach the Old Bund and the confluence of the three rivers. To the right, it's a five-minute walk to Chenghuang Temple, and if you cross a few streets and walk for about half an hour, you'll reach Moon Lake Park and Tianyi Pavilion Museum."

"This hotel is right near the Chenghuang Temple, and it's super easy to get to via subway – a really excellent location. On the day I checked in, the front desk staff, Sister Haitang, was incredibly warm and helpful. She upgraded my room and even gave me a travel guide! ❤️🔥 I stayed for two nights, and even though it's on a busy street in a popular tourist area, it was surprisingly quiet. Plus, everything downstairs was so convenient – both a coffee shop and Liu Wenxiang were super close by! Ningbo exceeded my expectations; I'll definitely be back if I get the chance."

"I chose this hotel specifically because of the airport pick-up service. Last night, I confirmed with the driver that we needed to leave for the airport at 5:30 AM sharp. This morning, we were literally 3 minutes late because we had kids with us, and the car just left at 5:30 AM! If you can't tolerate even a one-minute delay, you should really inform guests about that beforehand. Your hotel isn't even the closest to the airport; if it weren't for the pick-up service, there are so many other options near the airport, and there would be no reason to stay here. In the end, I was stuck outside with so much luggage and several kids, waiting for ages just to hail a taxi to the airport. We arrived at the airport so late. So, I'm really not happy with this experience."

GGuest UserLocated in a village near Cicheng, it is about half an hour's drive from downtown Ningbo and about two hours from Shanghai. It is a quiet and convenient location. The housekeeper will contact in advance to confirm the dinner and bathing time. The special bathing pool is by appointment, which is basically a private bath experience. It is very comfortable. The restaurant tastes good, the stir-fried asparagus is very tender, and a bowl of glutinous rice balls was given when checking in during the Lantern Festival, which is very considerate. It is very comfortable to stroll around the bamboo forest pond in the village in the morning. The rape flowers are about to bloom recently, and it is a good place for leisure and vacation.

The service is excellent, with a WeChat concierge almost 24/7, always ready to help with anything you need. Especially Miya, who always contacts me in advance before my check-in to reserve my preferred room. The hotel breakfast is very good. The hotel facilities are top-notch among domestic five-star hotels. The gym is huge, and there's also a sauna, yoga room, squash court, and a tennis court with a dedicated coach, which is very convenient. The only downside is the slow Wi-Fi. Personally, I think this hotel ranks first among all the five-star hotels in Ningbo for its overall offerings.

JJeromePros: Great location, right next to Tianyi Square and Chenghuang Temple. Everything you need for dining, entertainment, and shopping is within easy reach. Cons: 1. Newly renovated, and it shows – in a bad way. The moment you walk in, you're hit with a blast of cheap perfume that's overpowering. 2. My room had an 'inner window.' What does that mean? It means when you open the window, you're looking right into the shopping mall. I even took a picture of my room's window from the mall side (see photo). 3. The room was stifling. The only option was to use the air conditioning, but at this time of year, it only blows hot air. The room temperature was stuck at 27 degrees Celsius and couldn't be adjusted, as it's controlled by the mall's central air conditioning system. In March, it was so hot I was in shorts! I had to ask for a fan and open the window to cool down. But opening the window meant sacrificing privacy (anyone in the mall could see in) and enduring the mall noise – a vicious cycle. I've attached a photo of the hotel room; please pay close attention to the room number when booking. 4. Finding live TV channels on the TV was a nightmare. It was buried deep within some video streaming app. It took me at least 20 minutes to find the entrance to regular TV. 5. The ceiling height is quite low. I'm 1.72m tall, and I can touch the ceiling by just raising my hand and tiptoeing a little, which felt a bit claustrophobic. 6. Compared to hotels like All Seasons, Atour, or Holiday Inn, the price is on the higher side, and there's nothing particularly impressive about it. 7. Breakfast was mediocre. Limited selection, and the wontons I ordered only had a few tiny pieces, mostly wrapper with a fingernail-sized amount of filling. As someone who spends over 200 nights a year in hotels, I strongly advise anyone considering this place to seriously weigh my experiences above.

GGuest UserThe software is top-notch, the B&B staff are very gentle and patient, the children had a lot of fun, the floor heating is very comfortable, the breakfast is not rich, but it is enough, and the price during the Spring Festival is very nice. The facilities of the B&B have indeed aged after six years. The curtains are a bit moldy, the floors are raised, and the rooms upstairs have a peculiar smell from the bathroom. It’s a bit bleak in the winter, so I hope to come back in the summer! It is recommended to have a night light. Turning on the light will affect your sleep. Turning off the light will make it inconvenient to go to the toilet in the middle of the night!
