Guest UserFirst, the pros: 1️⃣ The pool was better than I expected; the water quality was decent, and I didn't need sunscreen in the shade in the afternoon! 2️⃣ The service was excellent, not overly enthusiastic, just right. 3️⃣ The bathtub deserves full marks! The room provided disposable bathtub covers, so hygiene wasn't a concern! Now, the cons: 1️⃣ The sofa and tabletops had many old stains. 2️⃣ The gym was old and dilapidated; the yoga mats were crumbling badly, and the stationary bikes were difficult to ride. 3️⃣ There wasn't much to do nearby; it was only suitable for relaxing.

Snow MuttonThe hotel is in a very convenient location, especially if you’re in town for a fair or exhibition, with plenty of shopping areas nearby.
The room was clean and completely free of cigarette smell, which I really appreciated. Another thing I loved was the washing machine with an automatic drying function. It was extremely convenient, especially if you’re staying for several days, as you can wash and dry your clothes without having to go anywhere else.
The staff were excellent — very welcoming, friendly, and polite. Their English was also very good, which made communication easy, and they were always happy to help throughout my stay. I was especially impressed by their professionalism and hospitality.
The price was also very reasonable considering the location, facilities, service, and overall experience.
Overall, I had a great stay here and was very impressed with both the hotel and the staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

♥️Room
We were upgraded to a standalone villa – it was new, very quiet, and spacious, with a small courtyard! The twin beds could be moved together. The toilet, shower, and sink were in a separate area, and there was a dressing table too!
♥️Breakfast
Most of the items were Ningbo specialties! Tangyuan (glutinous rice balls), wontons, handmade noodles, pancakes, sticky rice balls, wheat rolls, youzanzi (fried dough twists), douhua (tofu pudding)... everything was really delicious! The restaurant itself was very unique, with multiple doorways leading through, and even a wall covered in greenery.
♥️Service
I felt their dedication even before checking in! We unfortunately encountered a typhoon, so they swapped out our outdoor activities from the package. There was a dedicated shuttle for check-in, and we received a fruit platter! The butler was also available 24/7. Other hotels often try to get you to spend more, but not here – they were always very thoughtful in helping us solve problems!
♥️Facilities
If you're traveling with kids like us, this hotel is perfect! It has an indoor playground, a swimming pool, and intangible cultural heritage craft activities! There were also tons of activities during the summer (details in the photos). Outside the hotel, within 1.5 km, there are many shops, so it's convenient for food, drinks, and other necessities! We also received a 3-day free parking pass upon check-in.

Guest UserA special thank you to YangZhuxiang, who took care of our room every day. She was always smiling, kind, and genuinely caring. You could really tell that she enjoyed making guests feel welcome, and her positive attitude made our stay even better.
We also want to thank Aria, who was always friendly, helpful, and truly wanted the best for us. Every interaction with her felt genuine, and she always made us feel welcome.
Finally, a huge thank you to Jay, who worked at the breakfast restaurant. My friend and I have special dietary requirements, and Jay went above and beyond to help us every single morning. He took the time to understand exactly what we could eat, answered all of our questions with patience, and always made sure we were taken care of. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine willingness to help made a huge difference to our stay.
Thank you all for making our experience so memorable. Staff like you are the reason people want to come back. We truly hope to see you again!

aiolleStaying at Kaiyuan Resort at Jiulong Lake, the biggest highlight is the beautiful mountain and lake scenery. The resort grounds are spacious and the air is fresh. The rooms are well-equipped and quite comfortable. The breakfast buffet offers a good variety of options, though the taste is just average. The hotel has plenty of activities for kids, making it great for families. There was a bit of a wait during check-in on the weekend, but the overall service attitude was good. It’s perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway from the city hustle and bustle.

Guest UserOur top pick for a Dongqian Lake getaway! A special shout-out to our butler, Nicole, who not only upgraded our room for free but also granted us a late check-out! The hotel is right next to the popular 'International Lake House' sunset spot, and very close to Hanling Old Street, making dining super convenient. Nestled between mountains and the lake, its village-style garden design offers picturesque views at every turn. The rooms are spacious and clean, each with a scenic balcony and comfortable bedding. The service is thoughtful and attentive, and the shuttle service within the resort is very handy. The breakfast spread is rich and varied. Strolling through the grounds and enjoying the hot springs are both incredibly relaxing activities, perfect for escaping the city hustle. The hotel's body lotion is also excellent. We will definitely be back!

Kaixin_mamiWe chose this hotel for a rafting and summer getaway. It's quite remote, a drive of several kilometers up a mountain road after entering the ancient village. The entire route is very natural; if it weren't for the hotel's signs, we almost would have turned back. After about ten minutes of driving, the view suddenly opened up, and a large wooden house served as the hotel lobby. Each guest room is scattered throughout the mountainside, connected by wooden boardwalks. Along the paths, we saw lizards, squirrels, and various insects, and occasionally even water snakes in the pools. In the evenings, we listened to the chirping of insects, and in the mornings, the calls of birds – truly a unique natural experience. In the stream next to the lobby, there were schools of small fish, and my son got hooked on fishing and actually caught quite a few. The only minor drawback is that the hotel facilities are a bit outdated.

Guest UserStaying at Crowne Plaza Xiangshan Resort was absolutely worth it! My overall experience was fantastic, and it offered great value for money. Although the hotel has been open for a while, it's very well-maintained and doesn't feel old at all. The rooms were meticulously clean, and the public areas were also spotless. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the staff were incredibly friendly and quick to resolve any issues. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of choices and good quality. A special shout-out to JOE from guest services for his thoughtful and attentive service. My stay this time was truly excellent!

GuimeiyemanThe hotel's interior is beautiful, perfect for photos on a sunny day. The in-room amenities are high-end, like a Dyson hairdryer and LELABO skincare products. The bed was also very comfortable. We stayed in a newly renovated room with a large terrace overlooking the inner courtyard. The travel photographer and butler both requested a positive review, so I'm giving five stars, but I still want to provide an objective assessment. I believe the core issue with the hotel's many negative reviews lies in the details. For example, there were only facial tissues available at the vanity, which was quite inconvenient. The TV couldn't cast, and the bathroom lacked an exhaust fan. When I requested two bath sachets, only one was provided (though they did send another when asked). At the restaurant, when I was packing a breakfast to go, one staff member offered me cutlery and perhaps an extra napkin. Another staff member immediately interjected, saying ”just a pair of chopsticks is fine, no need for these.” I felt really awkward being there. The service is good, but you consistently get a subtle feeling of pettiness. While it's good for staff to be economical, they should also consider the guests' experience. I hope this objective review helps future guests and encourages the hotel to improve its details for a more comfortable stay.

The family room is a two-bedroom apartment with a living room, and both bedrooms have TVs, which is very convenient. However, our room faced the road, not the Sanjiang River. I'm not sure if there are also parent-child rooms on the opposite side.
The soundproofing is excellent, and we slept well. The room decor has an old-money style. The front desk service was very responsive and friendly.
The parking lot is a bit old. The location is convenient; you can walk to Tianyi Square. The popular shops like Jimau Duitang and A Mao Restaurant are also within walking distance, and the food is quite good. It's easy to rent an electric scooter downstairs, and you can ride to the Old Bund, which is also not far if you prefer to walk.
