Guest UserWhen looking for a hotel in a city, the key factors are, first, needs, second, location, and only then, price. It's truly delightful when all three align perfectly, which is exactly what happened during my recent stay in Ningbo. From the moment I stepped through the main entrance to interacting with the front desk and floor staff, their willingness to assist with every request was heartwarming. Ms. Wang Yingcong at the front desk noticed my mobility challenges and my age, and for several days, she consistently showed concern and proactively resolved any necessary issues, which deeply touched us. Employees with such a strong service-oriented mindset and work ethic deserve high praise. Thank you very much!

Guest UserLocation & Transportation:
The hotel is nestled within the Zhengshi Shiqifang Scenic Area in Shiqifang Village, Zhenhai District, right by Jiulong Lake. It's surrounded by mountains and water, offering a superb environment. Driving there is quite convenient, with a spacious surface parking lot that includes plenty of spots and even EV charging stations.
Service:
The service here is truly commendable. I've been many times, and now they offer a butler service. Our butler, Xianxian, provided excellent and attentive service. All our questions were quickly communicated and resolved. She also friendly reminded us about hotel itineraries and activities.
Room & Facilities:
The hotel and room facilities are very new. The indoor areas are well-maintained, and the bedding is great, ensuring a comfortable sleep. The room comes with a bathtub and a small private courtyard, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway.
Breakfast:
Breakfast is quite abundant. Even with many guests, the food was always replenished promptly, and the dishes were good.
Restaurant:
There's a restaurant called 'Zheng's Kitchen.' Their yellow croaker seafood noodles are incredibly fresh, and other dishes also taste good. The value for money is decent.

Anonymous UserWhen traveling with my partner, we always consider Atour, and this Gulou branch is super close to popular attractions like Tianyi Pavilion, Yuehu Lake, Xiushui Street, Tianyi Plaza, and Chenghuang Temple. There are so many great food options clustered around Gulou and Tianyi that you can't possibly try them all, and the nearby specialty coffee shops are also excellent. The only downside is that the pillows in the room are very soft, which isn't great for someone with a cervical spine condition; I wonder if they can be replaced. Overall, a great review!

HepbyfNestled in a bamboo-ringed mountain hollow, Xikou Manxiugu B&B ingeniously tucks each forest villa into the hillside, creating a unique and secluded haven. Staying in these hollow villas, you can enjoy snow in winter, mist in spring, cicadas in summer, and autumn leaves, truly embracing the wild. You can imagine yourself as a free bird in the forest or an uninhibited 'wildling' from ancient times, far from the hustle and bustle. Wake up to the morning sun, watch the sunset in the evening, sip tea leisurely, enjoy a glass of wine at night, listen to the rain on the leaves, chat with friends, find romance with a loved one, or simply gaze at the starry sky. It’s simply delightful! I come back every other year for a few days; I arrive feeling weary and leave feeling completely refreshed.
The villas at Manxiugu are diverse in style and shape – from two-story Gothic-inspired spires to charming Baroque wooden cabins. Each room has a pleasant woody fragrance that ensures a peaceful night's sleep. On hot days, you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the clear infinity pool. And the chef's culinary skills are truly exceptional – the food is delicious, not greasy, and incredibly appetizing, all at a reasonable price, so there's no need to dine out. The service philosophy is guest-first, with every request met and every detail handled until you're completely satisfied. I especially want to thank Miss Xiaoyu, who thoughtfully carried our bags and helped us, who aren't so young anymore, settle in comfortably. My detailed rambling is simply because my stay was so comfortable and satisfying, so I highly recommend everyone give it a try!

Guest UserHighly recommend the Crowne Plaza Ningbo Xiangshan with its 'Naval Ship View' room! Located in the Haitian Building, the balcony offers unparalleled views, allowing you to gaze at the docked Nanjing Destroyer 131 without even leaving your room. The sight of the azure sea paired with the warship creates a truly unique panorama, offering stunning sunrises over the ocean in the morning and picturesque bay sunsets in the evening.
The room itself is spacious and bright, with a simple yet elegant decor. The bathroom is clean and tidy with a separate wet and dry area, and the bedding is soft and comfortable. Falling asleep to the soothing sound of the waves is incredibly therapeutic. The room is fully equipped, and the sofa and scenic balcony add great practicality.
Just outside the hotel is a private beach, perfect for leisurely strolls or beachcombing. The staff are warm and attentive, and the shuttle service is available on demand. This hotel is ideal for military enthusiasts and couples on a getaway. It offers a completely different vibe from typical sea-view rooms that face the open ocean, providing a unique ambiance. It will definitely be my top choice again on my next visit to Xiangshan!

Guest UserThe lake view is beautiful, and the room is very spacious, complete with a bathtub. There are plenty of facilities for kids, and the swimming pool is huge. In the lobby, children can watch cartoons, and in the evenings, there are ring toss and 'touhu' (pitch-pot) games. The birthday decorations were adorable!

iambearLongest stay during business trip but probably wont return next time.. the room was not well lit especially the work table.. it was too dark to work with one mediocre table light! There was no a/c in the corridor and it smelled like mold given that it'd been raining for a few days when i was there.. and there was very minimal lighting along the corridor and the lift area.. creepy! The thing that really irked me was the motion detection lighting.. the light would go off even when i was in the toilet.. not cool! The one thing i really enjoyed was the robot sending my delivery meals and necessities to my room haha..

The hotel's location on Dongqian Lake is a bit out of the way, but it's not a huge area to begin with, so it's not really that far. Some of the hotel rooms are located within Songbo Garden, offering beautiful views every time you come and go.
The room facilities are excellent, except for the coffee machine. The hygiene is also very good. The outdoor private hot spring water circulates, and there's a roof overhead so you can enjoy it even on rainy days. I saw reviews mentioning a lack of privacy, so I specifically brought a swimsuit, but ended up not needing it. There are no lights on the mountain at night, so no one walks around. People upstairs definitely can't see in; it might also depend on the room type.
The hotel's shuttle service is a bit infrequent; you often have to wait over ten minutes. On nice days, I'd just walk to the lobby, but on bad days, waiting that long was a bit frustrating. The breakfast selection is average, but the taste is very good. The front desk service could use some improvement. The lack of an indoor pool means there's not much for adults to do for leisure on rainy days.

It was my first time to book a B&B, and I was moved by the enthusiasm and simplicity of the owner, Xiao Wu and the aunts! We checked in very late, and Xiao Wu came out to pick us up. It happened to be New Year's Eve, so a bonfire was lit in front of the B&B. The owner also provided us with luminous pearls, fairy sticks and other fireworks to play with. The rice cake slices in the store are really delicious hahahahaha! We had a wonderful New Year's Eve with other guests, making fire, watching movies, and setting off fireworks!
Overall, I feel like this B&B is very good, and it might be more interesting in summer! Thank you to the owner and all the staff in the store and we look forward to seeing you again!
