♥️Room
We were upgraded to a standalone villa – it was new, very quiet, and spacious, with a small courtyard! The twin beds could be moved together. The toilet, shower, and sink were in a separate area, and there was a dressing table too!
♥️Breakfast
Most of the items were Ningbo specialties! Tangyuan (glutinous rice balls), wontons, handmade noodles, pancakes, sticky rice balls, wheat rolls, youzanzi (fried dough twists), douhua (tofu pudding)... everything was really delicious! The restaurant itself was very unique, with multiple doorways leading through, and even a wall covered in greenery.
♥️Service
I felt their dedication even before checking in! We unfortunately encountered a typhoon, so they swapped out our outdoor activities from the package. There was a dedicated shuttle for check-in, and we received a fruit platter! The butler was also available 24/7. Other hotels often try to get you to spend more, but not here – they were always very thoughtful in helping us solve problems!
♥️Facilities
If you're traveling with kids like us, this hotel is perfect! It has an indoor playground, a swimming pool, and intangible cultural heritage craft activities! There were also tons of activities during the summer (details in the photos). Outside the hotel, within 1.5 km, there are many shops, so it's convenient for food, drinks, and other necessities! We also received a 3-day free parking pass upon check-in.

Guest UserIt’s a B&B that people like at first glance (at least that’s what I think). Whether it’s the facilities in the room or the scenery at the door (right next to the Qixiakeng Ancient Road), I think this visit is worth it! The food is also very delicious. My child didn’t even take a few bites of the food he ordered from a small restaurant near Xikou last year. It was not to his liking and it was also noisy. Unexpectedly, the chopsticks didn’t stop today, which means it’s very delicious and indeed in line with our taste. , How can taro be so pink and waxy! Delicious! We are already discussing how to come and stay for a few days during the summer vacation. In summer, we can play in the small stream in front of our house! Walking around the ancient village in the evening has a beautiful artistic conception! Anyway, it’s a comfortable stay and a comfortable environment. Get up and go hiking on the Qixiakeng Ancient Trail after breakfast tomorrow, which is the perfect end to this two-day and one-night short trip! Goodbye in the summer~

Guest UserThe room was clean and tidy, and quite smart. The soundproofing was excellent, so the room was very quiet. The location is superb, and the price was reasonable, offering great value for money. The common areas were also decent. It was such a thoughtful touch to come back after being out and enjoy a refreshing iced plum and lemon tea in the lobby, especially during the scorching summer heat. They also offer freshly ground coffee. The location is indeed excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere. I only had one night in Ningbo, so I went to the Old Bund in the evening and visited Tianyi Pavilion Library during the day, which was a relatively comfortable and not-too-tiring experience. My impression of Atour remains consistently good.

Guest UserThe panoramic terrace suite we booked this time was definitely the best room in the entire hotel. Apparently, there are only two such suites in total, one on the sixth floor and one on the seventh. We got the one on the seventh floor, which is the outermost top-floor position shown in the first picture. The great thing about this location is that it's far from the central area, making it very quiet (the pool area can get quite noisy with activities). The view towards the reservoir is completely open, filled with lush greenery, and the scenery is fantastic. The terrace on the seventh floor is smaller than the one on the sixth, but in exchange, the indoor space is an entire extra room larger. During this Dragon Boat Festival, it was hot and rainy, so having this extra air-conditioned room turned out to be even more practical than the terrace.
I was quite satisfied with the room's facilities and layout. However, there was one issue: on both nights, large flying insects (beetles) somehow got into the room. It seems like there might be a gap somewhere that isn't properly sealed (I don't think we let them in when opening the door, as bugs this size would be very noticeable). I suggest the hotel checks this.
The hotel offers a wealth of activities suitable for families. This time, we mainly enjoyed the lake boat ride, the swimming pool, and go-karts. My child loved it and had a great time, insisting I give a five-star review!
Regarding dining, the breakfast quality doesn't quite match that of a typical five-star hotel, though the variety is decent. The hotel's Chinese restaurant offers average, run-of-the-mill lunch and dinner options, and the prices aren't too expensive. Driving half an hour to Zhenhai offers more choices.
The hotel's butler service was quite attentive, and all the staff we encountered were very friendly. The small gift received upon check-out was also a nice touch. Overall, our experience this time was very good.

Not far from the subway station. Great location to visit Yinzhou park and ningbo museum. There are lots of small stores around. The area was not crowded at all. Breakfast was ok, you can ask the cook for noodles. I just found weird that the blinds were located in the bedroom side of the glass rather than on the bathroom side...

HepbyfNestled in a bamboo-ringed mountain hollow, Xikou Manxiugu B&B ingeniously tucks each forest villa into the hillside, creating a unique and secluded haven. Staying in these hollow villas, you can enjoy snow in winter, mist in spring, cicadas in summer, and autumn leaves, truly embracing the wild. You can imagine yourself as a free bird in the forest or an uninhibited 'wildling' from ancient times, far from the hustle and bustle. Wake up to the morning sun, watch the sunset in the evening, sip tea leisurely, enjoy a glass of wine at night, listen to the rain on the leaves, chat with friends, find romance with a loved one, or simply gaze at the starry sky. It’s simply delightful! I come back every other year for a few days; I arrive feeling weary and leave feeling completely refreshed.
The villas at Manxiugu are diverse in style and shape – from two-story Gothic-inspired spires to charming Baroque wooden cabins. Each room has a pleasant woody fragrance that ensures a peaceful night's sleep. On hot days, you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the clear infinity pool. And the chef's culinary skills are truly exceptional – the food is delicious, not greasy, and incredibly appetizing, all at a reasonable price, so there's no need to dine out. The service philosophy is guest-first, with every request met and every detail handled until you're completely satisfied. I especially want to thank Miss Xiaoyu, who thoughtfully carried our bags and helped us, who aren't so young anymore, settle in comfortably. My detailed rambling is simply because my stay was so comfortable and satisfying, so I highly recommend everyone give it a try!

HuyangThis Xiangshan vacation was a perfect stay! The hotel has been open for some years, but the common areas, pool, and room facilities are all incredibly well-maintained, showing no signs of age. The rooms are spotless, not a speck of dust even in the corners. The breakfast buffet was absolutely amazing, with fresh seafood noodles and local snacks. All the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. A special shout-out to our butler, Xiao Shi, who was always available for any requests, proactively helped deliver supplies, and explained the beach tour routes. Our entire stay was delightful, and we'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

This hotel completely exceeded my expectations, a definite five-star rating! From the moment I walked in, Anna's warm and attentive service made me feel incredibly welcome; she even offered to help with my luggage. Layla and Regina at check-in were efficient and quick, and they thoughtfully upgraded my room. The room was spacious and bright, with a modern yet cozy decor. The bedding was soft and comfortable, allowing me to sleep soundly until I woke up naturally. The view from the window was excellent, offering a panoramic city night view. The breakfast spread was extensive, a mix of Chinese and Western options, and the ingredients were fresh. The freshly cooked wontons, in particular, were delicious. The hotel's location is superb, with convenient transportation and plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. My trip was very fulfilling and enjoyable. Next time I'm in this city, I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends!

The room types of the homestay are all kinds. This time I lived in a separate yard with a large duplex space.
The homestay itself is very playable, with swimming pools, upside-down houses, swings, etc.; the stream in the ancient village next to it is very clear, and it is a little way from drifting.
The housekeeper is very enthusiastic and overall good.

The hotel's location on Dongqian Lake is a bit out of the way, but it's not a huge area to begin with, so it's not really that far. Some of the hotel rooms are located within Songbo Garden, offering beautiful views every time you come and go.
The room facilities are excellent, except for the coffee machine. The hygiene is also very good. The outdoor private hot spring water circulates, and there's a roof overhead so you can enjoy it even on rainy days. I saw reviews mentioning a lack of privacy, so I specifically brought a swimsuit, but ended up not needing it. There are no lights on the mountain at night, so no one walks around. People upstairs definitely can't see in; it might also depend on the room type.
The hotel's shuttle service is a bit infrequent; you often have to wait over ten minutes. On nice days, I'd just walk to the lobby, but on bad days, waiting that long was a bit frustrating. The breakfast selection is average, but the taste is very good. The front desk service could use some improvement. The lack of an indoor pool means there's not much for adults to do for leisure on rainy days.
