"Not great value for money. For a room costing over 700, look at the fruit they provided – it was all shriveled! It was also quite amusing that they provided a coffee machine but no capsules! The breakfast was very basic too, not much selection. The EV charging stations are only on the B3 parking level, and to top it off, there are no lights down there. It's pitch black, and honestly, if you were alone, it would be pretty creepy! To be frank, I wasn't very satisfied overall."

Shedding the dust of travel, I lean back against the headboard, the soft pillow perfectly cradling my tired shoulders and neck. GGuest UserThe hotel's service and rooms are quite good. We stayed in a modern room type, and it was spacious and comfortable. The butler was very responsive. The hotel has a gym and a children's play area. The indoor pool wasn't open, but we were told we could go to Jiulong Lake Kaiyuan for water activities.
The Seventeen Houses scenic area was just so-so. It's quite small, probably due to a lack of visitors. Performances weren't always happening; we missed them twice according to the schedule and didn't see a single show. You can interact with the NPCs and play the 'silver note' game, and the NPCs were quite friendly.

BbaobaozzyBooked a queen room and got a free upgrade to a queen room facing Tianyi Square. The facilities are great, and the service is excellent. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast spread was very generous. They also offer late-night congee, and replenish toiletries daily. The location is incredibly convenient, right by Gulou metro station which connects to Lines 1 and 2, making it super easy to get to Tianyi Square, Chenghuang Temple, and the Old Bund. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserThis time, I brought my child to stay at the Crowne Plaza Xiangshan Ocean View, and the overall experience was absolutely perfect! Although the hotel has been open for some years, the public swimming pool and play areas are meticulously maintained and don't show their age at all. The sea-view room offers an amazing view, and the housekeeping is incredibly thorough. Breakfast has a huge variety of options. All the staff were warm and attentive, and I especially want to commend our butler, Dako. He personally delivered our luggage to the room, and any requests we had were met super quickly. It made our entire stay effortless. We'll definitely choose this hotel for our next vacation!

Whether it’s the facilities in the room or the scenery at the door (right next to the Qixiakeng Ancient Road), I think this visit is worth it! The food is also very delicious. My child didn’t even take a few bites of the food he ordered from a small restaurant near Xikou last year. It was not to his liking and it was also noisy. Unexpectedly, the chopsticks didn’t stop today, which means it’s very delicious and indeed in line with our taste. , How can taro be so pink and waxy! Delicious! We are already discussing how to come and stay for a few days during the summer vacation. In summer, we can play in the small stream in front of our house! Walking around the ancient village in the evening has a beautiful artistic conception! Anyway, it’s a comfortable stay and a comfortable environment. Get up and go hiking on the Qixiakeng Ancient Trail after breakfast tomorrow, which is the perfect end to this two-day and one-night short trip! Goodbye in the summer~

TTom2501The hotel is close to the Southern business district metro and the area by the river looks spectacular at night. The room was of a decent size and the bed was comfortable.
The shower floor was extremely slippery, especially for children and the toilet wasn't working on one side of the flush mechanism. With a bit of attention to detail, the room would have been great.
The breakfast wasn't the greatest. It was all cold and left for a long time. I guess you have to go very early to see the best of it.
The location is great, the staff were pleasant and the bed was comfortable. For a low price hotel, it was a good stay.

GGuest UserOur trip this time was incredibly enjoyable! The hotel is nestled in a valley that the owner has essentially privatized. The scenery is absolutely stunning, with lush green forests, babbling brooks, quaint bridges, and a variety of colorful flowers. It’s perfect for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Each room is a detached unit, offering guests their own private space and a balcony with a beautiful view.
And let me tell you, the food here is delicious! We had bamboo shoot braised pork made with freshly dug bamboo shoots in the morning. It was my first time having such tender and fresh bamboo shoots, seriously, haha! We ended up ordering it for two consecutive days. I’ll definitely miss these bamboo shoots when I go back home! The breakfast was also exceptionally good.
The service here is also excellent; the housekeepers are all very warm and attentive! We arrived by high-speed train, and it’s a bit difficult to get a taxi here. The housekeeper kindly arranged transportation for us both ways, and I'm very grateful for that 🥹. It also happened to be my boyfriend's birthday during our stay. After I mentioned it to the housekeeper, he helped arrange a cake for us, making our little birthday wish come true!
Overall, the experience was fantastic. However, since it's in the mountains, you might encounter a few small insects in the room. Just call the housekeeper, and they'll take care of it promptly. If you can accept this, it's not a big issue. Lastly, it would be even better if there was a shuttle service at Xikou High-Speed Rail Station, as getting a taxi here during holidays can be challenging if you're not driving yourself.

GGuest UserIt was my first time to book a B&B, and I was moved by the enthusiasm and simplicity of the owner, Xiao Wu and the aunts! We checked in very late, and Xiao Wu came out to pick us up. It happened to be New Year's Eve, so a bonfire was lit in front of the B&B. The owner also provided us with luminous pearls, fairy sticks and other fireworks to play with. The rice cake slices in the store are really delicious hahahahaha! We had a wonderful New Year's Eve with other guests, making fire, watching movies, and setting off fireworks!
Overall, I feel like this B&B is very good, and it might be more interesting in summer! Thank you to the owner and all the staff in the store and we look forward to seeing you again!

HHenanxianliguangTraveling with family during New Year's Day, I have to say that since InterContinental took over, the hardware after renovation is indeed very good. The rooms are spacious, equipped with smart toilets, and I even saw cribs for babies.
I want to focus on the service:
1. On the last day, we were in a hurry to leave, and my husband packed the luggage. Men, they don't recognize anything! We left behind a nearly empty bottle of essence water, a newly opened jar of face cream, and a pair of headphones. I only realized the items were missing when I got home. I contacted the butler, who said she would check for me when she was at work and also mentioned that the cleaning staff had already left. The next day, she told me they found the essence water (the nearly empty bottle), but nothing else. My essence and cream were together. If nothing had been found, I would have accepted it, but this is truly hard to comment on. (I've never encountered such a situation in a hotel. At other hotels, even if you deliberately leave something behind, they'll call to ask if you forgot it. I really can't comment here.)
2. We went for breakfast around 10 AM on the second day. We called the front desk, and they said there was no more breakfast. However, when we went down, we saw there was still food, although it was indeed winding down.
3. We wanted to have dinner at the hotel on the second day. We called and the front desk said it was available. But when we arrived, the staff told us there would be a long wait and suggested we eat out. I asked how long the wait usually is based on past experiences, and they replied that they had only been open for two weeks and didn't know. I'm speechless.
