Hotel Indigo NINGBO RIVERSIDE by IHG

Every hotel in the Indigo series boasts unique and stylish designs, making it an excellent choice if you're looking for an experience different from a typical business hotel. This particular hotel is located near the Creative City, about 1 kilometer from the Old Bund, making it quite convenient for getting around.

Our overall stay was fantastic. The front desk even upgraded our room to a river view, which was absolutely beautiful! The service was attentive and thoughtful. The river view from our room was comparable to the West Bund; it's a quiet and peaceful hotel. The submarine-themed design is truly unique and innovative. The room key card is so pretty, I kept it as a souvenir! We were welcomed with drinks and a fruit platter. The mini wontons and seafood noodles at breakfast are definitely worth trying!

I stayed at an Intercontinental Hotels Group brand for two consecutive nights. The first night was at Voco Dongqian Lake, and the experience was just okay. The rooms in a scenic area should ideally have a view to match, but my window just looked out at a building, which felt very jarring. The breakfast had a lot of variety, but the quality was mediocre. The second night, I stayed at the Indigo in Wenchuang, and the design was much more impressive – walking into the lobby felt like a W Hotel, I wonder if it's the same designer. The service was fantastic; even when I returned to the hotel at 2:30 AM, the doorman still helped me open the door and press the elevator. The butler service was incredibly thoughtful; perhaps they guessed I'd sleep in 😏 and proactively offered me a late check-out. I didn't get to try breakfast, but I'll definitely experience it on my next stay. Highly recommended!

The hotel's location is excellent. The front desk staff were efficient with check-in and very polite. The room was clean with no strange odors, and the bedding was soft. All the amenities were complete, making it perfect for business trips or travel. Great value for money!

1. Woken up at 3 AM by a false fire alarm. 2. The public hallway lights were dim in the middle of the night. 3. The staff were unprofessional; after changing rooms, my elevator access wasn't updated. 4. Ordered takeout, but the delivery locker couldn't be found, and items were messy inside. Is this really an IHG hotel?

I come to Ningbo every year, and I've finally found a hotel I really like! The service was excellent, and they even upgraded us to a river-view room for free. The room itself wasn't huge, but the design was incredibly creative and practical, feeling very modern. My 6-year-old daughter absolutely loved the infinity pool; it was clean and had a great view of the river. I'll definitely be back!

The hotel staff were incredibly helpful, and its location near the Yongjiang River offers beautiful views. The breakfast was a rich spread with delicious Ningbo specialties, especially the sticky rice dishes. Everything was excellent! It's my top choice for business trips and vacations.
