At this hostel's 1/0 sauna, I met a gorgeous bearded guy who spoke Chinese (he was well-endowed and pierced). He was very outgoing, and we had some fun in the upstairs darkroom once. He even taught me how to blow, haha. But I'm a bit slow to warm up and shy, so the last time I saw him at the front desk, I was too embarrassed to ask for his contact info. Such a shame (I miss him, haha). The hotel's service and location are great, but the facilities and cleanliness could use a little improvement. Considering the low price, it's pretty decent overall (but if you don't want to be bothered, I'd recommend choosing a regular hotel).

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and polite, but unfortunately, everything else was a bad experience. On the first day, I was assigned room 706. The bed was extremely soft and felt like the springs had collapsed. When I informed the staff, I was told there were no other rooms available. On the second day, a different staff member kindly helped to change my room to 307. However, it was located right next to the staircase, and there was a strong sewage smell as soon as I opened the door. It was very unpleasant. On the fourth day, after housekeeping cleaned the room, they left the window open and didn’t close it. As a result, I was bitten by mosquitoes during the night, and even worse, I experienced what seemed like bed bug bites. My whole body became very itchy with multiple bites. Although the hotel is conveniently located near the BTS, the overall condition is old and outdated, and cleanliness is not up to standard. Overall, this was a very uncomfortable and disappointing stay. I would not recommend it.

A newly opened minimalist hotel near Samyan MRT station, within walking distance. Located in an alley behind Wat Hua Lamphong, the rooms are a good size. The bedrooms are color-coordinated white, black, and gray, with cute animal-patterned towel folds as a welcome touch – likely appealing to foreigners who enjoy collecting such art. The stairwells are a bit dated, but the back building might have an elevator (the front building doesn't). The air conditioning is a bit slow to cool and seems old, but the rooms have been renovated. Overall, it's clean and the bathroom is spotless with strong water pressure and a new showerhead. There's a hairdryer and very comfortable slippers. Free Wi-Fi is reasonably strong. The common area has a microwave and dishes for cooking. Recommended for those attending seminars, meetings, training, or just relaxing. It's close to Chulalongkorn Hospital, Silom Road, Patpong Market, and Surawong Road, offering plenty of food options late into the night. The hotel has several rooms; try booking a random one to see if you get one featuring an elephant, swan, or goose 😎

The room was really clean and great, also very tidy with ambient lighting. The hotel staff were super friendly too. I've stayed at many hotels, and for this price, it's not expensive but still very new and clean. Excellent value for money, and there's a big swimming pool!

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a very comfortable and pleasant experience overall. From the moment I arrived, the hotel gave a welcoming impression. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff were polite and professional. The atmosphere of the hotel felt calm and well organized, making it a nice place to relax after a long day of traveling or exploring the area. One of the things I appreciated most during my stay was the comfort of the room. The room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed to provide everything a guest might need. The bed was very comfortable, and the lighting in the room created a relaxing atmosphere. It was easy to unwind and rest after a busy day. The room also came with a full set of useful facilities, which made the stay even more convenient. Everything was well maintained and worked properly, which gave me a sense that the hotel pays attention to the details that matter to guests. Another positive aspect of the hotel is the overall convenience of the facilities provided. While many hotels place amenities directly inside the room, this hotel has a slightly different system. Certain amenities are available upon request, and guests can simply call the front desk to have them delivered. At first, this might seem a little unusual, but in practice it was not a problem at all. The staff responded quickly and were happy to assist. This system may even help reduce unnecessary waste, as guests only receive the items they actually need. The hotel’s location is also a major advantage. It is situated in a very convenient area that makes it easy to travel to nearby attractions, restaurants, and other places of interest. Whether you are visiting for business or leisure, the location allows you to move around the area without much difficulty. Having such a good location definitely adds to the overall value of staying here. Another feature that I found especially convenient was the parking situation. Unlike many hotels where parking space can be limited or difficult to find, this hotel provides a large parking area for guests. There were plenty of parking spaces available, which made arriving by car very easy and stress-free. For travelers who drive, this is definitely a big advantage and something that makes the stay much more comfortable. Throughout my stay, the hotel maintained a quiet and relaxing environment. The combination of comfortable rooms, helpful staff, and convenient facilities made the experience enjoyable. Even though some amenities need to be requested from the front desk, the process is quick and simple, so it does not cause any inconvenience. Overall, this hotel offers a comfortable stay with complete room facilities, a convenient location, and plenty of parking space. The staff are helpful and attentive, and the atmosphere of the hotel makes it easy to relax. I would definitely recommend this hotel to travelers who are looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay.

The hotel room was spacious, but the amenities were quite basic. The staff were very friendly and I didn't encounter any of the issues mentioned in other negative reviews. The location is excellent, right in Silom near Patpong, so it's just a short walk if you're looking to visit bars. However, the Wi-Fi can be unreliable if there are a lot of guests. There's a fridge but no hairdryer. While the front desk does lend them out, they have a limited supply. Even if you do get one, it's not very useful as I found there were no power outlets in the bathroom, and no mirrors elsewhere. Overall, it's decent for the price, which is quite affordable.

Our stay was absolutely perfect, far exceeding expectations! The hotel's location is excellent, with easy walking access to the subway station and commercial centers. The front desk staff were warm, professional, and handled our check-in quickly. The room was spacious and bright, with stylish and modern decor. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a sound sleep until morning. The bathroom was spotless and featured a wet and dry separation design. A special highlight was the breakfast, which offered a rich variety of both Western and Chinese options, all tasting delicious. Additionally, the hotel's gym was well-equipped, providing great convenience for business travelers like us. Whether for business or leisure, this hotel is an excellent choice, and we will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is located on Silom Road, which is convenient for dining and shopping. Although the facilities are a bit old, the hygiene is impeccable, and there are many thoughtful little touches you wouldn't find in a typical budget hotel, like the artfully folded tissues and towels. This really gives a sense of care. The front desk staff were also very welcoming and polite. The biggest downside, and the reason I decided to switch hotels, was the shower. There's no handheld showerhead, just a small fixed one on the wall that sprays a very strong, uneven stream of water that alternates between hot and cold. It was quite uncomfortable.

The location is great. There’s a 7-Eleven just a 3–5 minute walk away, which made everything super convenient. The staff were really nice and accommodating. The room was simple but very clean. I especially loved the bed and pillows. I’m picky with pillows because the wrong one gives me headaches, so this was a big plus for me. I was a bit worried about the bathroom after reading some reviews, but honestly, it was fine. It was not hot at all. The space inside is a little narrow though. The gap between the toilet bowl and the wall is quite tight, which might be slightly uncomfortable if you’re tall or have long legs. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

DDaxianyunyoushijie## Prime Location & Accessibility * This is an established luxury five-star hotel situated in the heart of Bangkok's commercial district. It's right next to the Erawan Shrine, and within walking distance to Siam Paragon, Central World, and Big C. The Chit Lom BTS station is just a stone's throw away, making both taxis and the Skytrain incredibly convenient for getting around. * Ideal for business travelers, shoppers, and those who appreciate classic luxury. Younger guests seeking minimalist, modern design might find it a bit traditional. ## Facilities & Services 1. **Guest Rooms:** Recently renovated by Tony Chi, the rooms are elegant and comfortable with high-quality linens and excellent soundproofing. Some entry-level room sizes are a bit compact for a city-center hotel. Welcome fruits and well-stocked toiletries are provided. 2. **Dining:** Breakfast offers a good variety (Thai + Western). Erawan Tea Room is a Michelin-recommended Thai restaurant, and the Executive Lounge service is consistently good. Some restaurant prices are on the higher side. 3. **Leisure:** The pool isn't huge, better suited for relaxation than extended swimming. The spa has an excellent reputation with professional therapists. The gym is open 24/7 with a full range of equipment. 4. **Service:** The front desk is efficient, and Globalist benefits are well-executed. Chinese-speaking staff are available. The hotel upholds the strong attention to detail and consistency expected of a long-standing five-star property. 5. **Ambiance:** Features a high-ceilinged lobby with a blend of European and Thai decor, exuding an 'Old Money' vibe. While well-maintained, it has a sense of history rather than a modern, minimalist aesthetic.

GGuest UserThe hostel is very modern and generally clean. The staff are very accommodating. The bed I was assigned to had a broken towel rack and ants around the bed and the staff immediately agreed to switch beds for me. While there were fewer ants at the new bed, there was a baby cockroach running around the locker portion of the bed. It was late and my last night when I saw the cockroach so I didn't bother asking for a change but I do think better pest control could be something the hostel should look into.

GGuest UserI was quite anxious when I arrived, as many reviews mentioned the hotel being old and dated. However, after staying for three days, I have to commend this hotel! 1. The lobby is opulent, and 'rich and varied' doesn't even begin to describe the spread at breakfast. 2. The service is exceptional; they are basically ready to help with anything you need. There's always someone to open the door when you enter the lobby, and the front desk and room service are fantastic! When I checked out, they helped me book a taxi to the airport, which was cheaper than both Grab and Trip.com, costing only 500 Thai Baht (to Don Mueang Airport). 3. The gym is huge, easily over 400 square meters, with all sorts of equipment and dedicated staff. I didn't get to use the pool, but there were lots of kids enjoying it. 4. The hotel's location is convenient, right next to an MRT station. Although it's about 6-7km from the main tourist attractions, for this price, service, and facilities, there's absolutely nothing to complain about. Book with confidence! In the evenings, there's a night market nearby, mostly frequented by locals, offering great value for money. If you turn right outside, there's a 'Chinatown' street with all kinds of delicious food.

KKantabuliyazhangchangzongI was quite hesitant about this hotel after reading the reviews, but after staying there, I can say its location is excellent, right by the river. The biggest selling point is definitely the riverside access, especially the free shuttle boat. This shuttle can take you to S-pier, which connects to all the major blue and orange line attractions. Taking the metro isn't the most convenient option, but you can also get to S-pier and transfer there. From my window, I could see the Ferris wheel, and there's a night market right downstairs. However, the shuttle service ends at 9 PM, which is a big drawback, as it's about a 5-minute walk from there. Also, if you're close to the river at night, you might hear the rumble of boats in the middle of the night. While the hotel facilities are a bit old, they're not dirty. I loved the bed – it was incredibly soft and comfortable; I honestly didn't want to get up! The beds are huge. Even though they're single beds, two pushed together are bigger than beds in China, easily sleeping three people. I skipped the hotel breakfast as I'd already spent a lot of money these past few days. In the afternoon, there's hot coffee in the lobby, which is a nice touch (though it's the only one). They also have iced water, chrysanthemum tea, and roselle tea, plus some biscuits. In the mornings, there are croissants and hot coffee that you can take with you. It's like a simple meal, and it's not bad at all. One of the front desk staff speaks Chinese, so communication wasn't an issue. The hotel requires a deposit, as it's a major international brand. The bottled water in the room is complimentary and NSF certified, so feel free to drink up. The razor provided was quite good, and the water pressure in the shower was strong. From 9:30 PM to 10:00 PM, there's a singer performing in the lobby, which you can discreetly listen to. There's also legitimate massage available outside. If you get hungry at night, there's a 7-Eleven and some street food stalls about 50 to 100 meters away. I wouldn't say the food is amazing or terrible, but you can try the oyster omelet. As for the swimming pool, it's actually quite nice, being on the first floor and very spacious. If your main goal is to explore along the river, this hotel is perfect. However, if you're looking to frequent places like Nana, this location might not be ideal.

GGuest UserI spent 17 nights at this hotel and couldn’t be happier with my choice for a remote work and vacation stay. The room has a spacious desk where I could work comfortably, and the internet speed was consistently fast. The bed was also very comfortable. I had no trouble falling asleep at all. I’d say it’s on par with the bed at Parkroyal Collection Pickering in Singapore. The room was clean and a decent size, and the shower had strong water pressure. Locationwise, it’s about a 20-minute walk to Sala Daeng BTS or Lumphini MRT. While it may not be very close to public transport for some, one of the best things about the location is that it’s surrounded by many great restaurants to suit different budgets. In fact, the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had is just a five-minute walk from the hotel.Special thanks to Mr. Kelly from the reception team for providing exceptional service and helping me with any issues during my stay.

EExpat EDventuresWe had a very pleasant stay at Somerset Sukhumvit 71 Bangkok. Check-in was easy and smooth with welcome infused water, and the on-site café was excellent, with delicious breakfast pastries. The beds were firm and clean, the room was comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning and making our beds daily. We also appreciated that both of our rooms were booked next to each other, which made travelling as a family much easier. Our fourteen-year-old’s bed was already made up upon arrival, which was a thoughtful touch. John, the concierge, was outstanding. He managed to book a same-day bike tour for our family of six and also kindly arranged our airport transfer. His service truly stood out and made our stay even better. Our only disappointment was New Year’s Eve. We had planned to ring in the new year at the rooftop venue, but it was fully booked. I had messaged the hotel in advance through the Trip app but didn’t receive a response. Instead, we followed a restaurant recommendation from the front desk, only to arrive 56 minutes before closing and be told the kitchen was already closed. Two other nearby restaurants were also closed, so we ended up grabbing snacks from the 7-Eleven across the street. The hotel kindly unlocked our balcony so we could at least watch the fireworks from our room. The rooftop restaurant is beautiful, and the pool area is also very nice, although the water was quite cold, so we didn’t swim. The location is a bit far out, but overall, we enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it and booked a third night. A great hotel with excellent service, especially from the concierge, and we would happily stay again.

AAnasdanWe stayed at this hotel for two nights. Cons The rooms are very outdated. Furniture, walls, corners, and the bathroom show visible wear and damage. The rooms clearly need renovation. The photos on the listing do not reflect the current condition of the rooms. They look much newer than they actually are. A stove was listed as an amenity, but in reality it was not usable — it was covered with a fixed wooden panel and could not be opened. There is no tea or coffee in the room, despite a coffee machine being shown in the photos. Tea is available at the reception during daytime only. The air conditioner is very noisy. It is controlled via a wall panel (no remote control) with limited settings, and even on the lowest mode the noise is noticeable. There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom, so steam stays in the room after showering unless the door is opened. The TV offers only Thai channels. There is no Smart TV and no option to connect a phone. The kitchen area has a sink, cabinets, and basic dishes, but it is not functional due to the lack of a stove. Despite cleaning, the room looks visually worn because of the overall condition of the walls and ceiling. Pros The bed is comfortable, with two pillows per person. Clean bed linen. The bathroom was clean, with good water pressure. The room includes a new hairdryer, a refrigerator, dishes, and cutlery. There is a balcony facing the courtyard, where smoking is allowed. The staff were polite and helpful. The receptionist spoke good English and explained everything clearly, and the housekeeping staff were also very friendly. The hotel provides a golf cart shuttle to nearby shopping malls. The location is convenient, close to M-Sphere, Emporium, and the M District, which was the main reason we chose this hotel. Overall Suitable for a short stay of one night. The main drawback is the outdated rooms and mismatch with the photos. The location and staff are the hotel’s strongest points.

AAnonymous UserA good location for travellers looking for a quieter neighbourhood compared to the usual sukhumvit experience, but I wouldn’t stay here again. 1. Gets really inaccesible to convenience stores (they do sell limited options of snacks - at a surcharge of course) 2. Engaged their laundry services, almost couldn’t get it back and wanted to bill me an additional fee to get it back in time for me to checkout and catch my flight. Turns out one of my pants was damaged along the way but made no comments about it till I found out. Didn’t pursue this matter as I have to catch a flight, no time to look for resolutions. 3. Was back at the hotel one of the days slightly earlier at 4:30pm, to my dismay the room wasn’t cleaned, the crew only came by at 5:30pm and offered to clean the room but it wasn’t convenient for me (I was half asleep too). Subsequently took a mental note that I can’t be back at the hotel till at least 7pm if I need my room to be cleaned Your experience may vary, but certainly not one of the experience I was thinking I would received.

DDezhengjianxiuI stayed here ten years ago when I first visited Bangkok, and it's still great! The room is huge, and it's incredibly quiet at night. There's a bus stop right downstairs, and it's not too far from the Sala Daeng BTS station. The breakfast menu changed daily, which was a nice touch, and overall it was a very comfortable stay. My only minor complaint is that they didn't change the bedsheets during my 7-day stay. The hotel is right next to the Mahanakhon Pixel Tower, and the 20th floor offers a fantastic spot for photos.
