The gentleman at reception Eray does an excellent job and I really appreciate that he tries to provide me with a room upgrade when available. "I was happy with our stay at this hotel. I would like to thank Mr. Sinan and the brother who helped us with our luggage. I can't remember his name. They were always smiling. The location is excellent. There is a ferry station on a nearby street that takes you to Emono and the Asian side. The only negative thing is the noise of the nightclub at night. We only heard it one night."

"The hotel is perfectly located right by the airport entrance, 3 minutes walk door to door. The overall experience was good: modern, quick service, and very traveler-friendly. Dinner hours run late (2am I think) and breakfast starts very early (4:30am), which is a big plus for people with odd flight times. The food itself was tasty and satisfying.
On the downside, staff don’t always speak or understand English well, especially in the restaurant. This caused an issue when we flagged a food allergy: one dish came correctly adjusted, but another still had the allergen. Also, the cocktails in the bar were disappointing."

"This hotel is new and luxurious, close to the subway station, and the breakfast is good! The hotel management is questionable. The room I was given upon check-in was already occupied, a mistake unacceptable for a five-star international brand. The front desk clerk didn't even apologize, didn't proactively greet the guest, didn't provide the WIFF password, and didn't even inform the breakfast time! They have no service awareness."

AAnastasiospapadakisWe truly loved every bit of demiray hotel from the aesthetic of the reception , the rooms , the breakfast , the rooftop view everything if I were you and I was looking for a perfect hotel in istanbul I would not search anymore let me be more specific:
We were greeted by the beautiful Ezgi at the reception with a smile and friendly attitude that made us feel like we were visiting friends and family , since i also work in the same field this is what we strive for a perfect check in , she politely gave us complimentary tea and turkish coffee and handed us the keys to the room always eager to help us with any information after explaining the times of breakfast and the hotels included free access areas ( swimming pool, hammam , turkish bath , sauna ) , Hasan the bellboy then took our stuff explaining in detail what is included in the room water and the amenities were complimentary tap water is not safe to drink in istanbul but all the bellboys always brought us water anytime we needed and with a smile .
In the first night we stayed in the hotel we had a issue with the shower phone it was fixed but It broke again the next day , Mert who was at the night shift at the time gave us a complimentary upgrade and also he told us that if possible the change could happen on his shift and not the other shift , I write this down because since I work on this field i find Mert to be a very good , hardworking professional and excellent colleague since he solved a issue so quick in order to not bother the next shift , truly a excellent receptionist and he has my respect . On the third day of our stay we did a huge walk from taksim to the Hotel but we didn't eat anything we arrived back at the hotel and we wanted to order food , Emroh when I told him my request which as a front office manager myself i know it is not a part of the receptionist duties especially at night , immediately spoke with his colleague and they ordered us a pizza which was amazing we left the cash and went to the room , it shows Emroh can go above and beyond for demiray hotel customers and deserves a big applause . On the last day I requested a late check out to Emroh which was accepted and it made us very happy since we could come back take a shower and leave , the hotel has a luggage room which was very convenient .
As for the breakfast it was Huge with great cold and warm options which change everyday , Cansu and the rest of the staff always assisted us with a smile and made our day from the beginning ! I have to applaud the housekeeping team esma and selma which cleaned the room to perfection and made us a beautiful design see picture bellow and since we know housekeeping is difficult for everyone we tried our best to keep the room as clean as possible .
Our room was beautiful with a bathtub and it had an beautiful design and a very comfortable big sized bed . The rooftop has a 360 view of the bosphorus with view of the Hagia Sophia Galata and all the other mosques trully amazing ( Photos bellow ) .
One of the most important things to note which impressed us is that Ugur the manager was always on duty ready to help, he spoke perfect English and he also looked the part with a stunning suit and a beautiful red patterned tie , it is very important for the hotel to have a nice team and this is what the manager does the best , as a front office manager myself I know Ugur has made an amazing team consisting of great all rounded receptionists that all in their unique ways made our stay memorable and amazing and deserves a big applause for his work .
We truly loved everything and everyone at the Demiray Hotel and we cannot wait to be back soon .

NNatty76This hotel is defo a come back too. Hotel is in a perfect location, about 5/10 min walk to Taksim square plus hundreds of shops to walk down or a tram ride if you can’t be bothered to walk. Hotel was clean and the staff are so friendly, will do anything for you if you need anything, cleaned our room and we didn’t even ask which was a lovely thought. Always happy and smiling and you can have a laugh with them, they will help you with anything you need from travelling to different places, giving you local info, always polite. The room was fantastic, spacious, with a great little balcony that has a lovely little view of the Main road but still lovely to look out. Me and hubby will definitely come back to this hotel as we absolutely enjoyed our stay with no problems. Thank you to all the staff who were about during our stay as you made us feel very welcome. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

They even upgraded my room and made my check-in time 2 hours earlier, and they welcomed me warmly.
This was the first time I felt kindness among the Turkish people I met for 4 days.
The room was also nice. The water pressure was strong! The room was really spacious.
