The hotel is located in the old city of Istanbul. The occupancy rate is still very high during the epidemic. It is about half an hour's walk from the most central attractions, the Blue Mosque and Sophia Cathedral. The regular room booked was found to be a top-floor loft and the room was very small. Fortunately, the InterContinental Hotel membership card worked, and the junior suite was upgraded for free the next day.

Hotel a little smaller than I had envisioned. It was a pleasant experience especially at the spa where I found a balinese working there. After a long flight a steam room, Turkish bath and an excellent massage is heavenly. Package promo at €55 is reasonable. Massage is 40 min. Add on massage will cost €30 for another 40 mins. I wish the spa offers Ayurvedic massage as well! Staffs are friendly although I found most people in turkey flaunting the rules on the masks and staying too close to the guests. It must be too hot for them and even at the mall I found them pulling down when they talked to customers!!! That’s going to be bad news in trying to control covid! Generally though, staff here still following the rules. Not so much the taxi drivers and other people outside! I only stayed 2 nights at this hotel. Took some photos at the roof top but considering its location and surrounding area (nothing much one can do other than walk around the river) it’s tough choice to stay on for more nights unless you are driving yourself. Nonetheless I had pleasant time here thanks to all stuff. A taxi ride to Istenya Park from here costs around 70TL.

We were a little unsure to start as the taxi had to travel through a warren of very small streets but once we found our bearings we could not have been happier. Our room was small but warm and the bed very comfortable. We were on the front of the hotel and had no problem with noise. Breakfast is fresh and tasty. The owner was very helpful and welcoming. You do really need to walk to get to the main sights but only for 15 or 20 mins. The hotel is very well situated for some very good restaurants just down the road.we would not hesitate to return.

Entering the history of the hotel, although the facilities are somewhat old, it shows the long-standing deposit of the hotel. Although it does not live in the palace, it seems to have crossed the Ottoman era. The hotel can dock at the yacht and if you have time, you can consider going directly to the boat.

I enjoyed staying in this hotel. Pluses: - comfortable big rooms; - perfect location - next to Istiklal famous street and Taksim square is just 10 minutes walk; a lot of restaurants, shops around; 5 minutes walk to Galata tower; - very good service; - ok breakfast (selection could be better) - but service is amazing. Attentive and fast. Special thanks to Eren - surprised with very good service. Please keep him. - 18th floor have amazing restaurant with city view; - ok small gym; - nice outdoor pool. Minuses: - amenties sometimes have some issues - like windows lockers, lights. Before rooms are given to clients - would recommend to check. In general would recommend and i would be back.

For the price it is a very decent hotel but it requires some renovation. For example management should clean/cover the black moss(something like that, I am not exactly sure what is the proper name for it) where the marble top and the bathtub meets. I accidentally touched there couple of times when I was relaxing inside the tube and It wasn't a nice feeling. Also cleanliness of the bed sheet can be improved too. Overall I would stay there again If I travel to Asian side of Ist again. p.s. Room service can be improved overall, I would order online instead of room service if I stay there again.

This position really does not know what to say, it is more partial, the corner is 旮旯, the surrounding is the motorcycle auto parts market, you want to eat, eat, drink, drink, there is Starbucks in the hotel lobby, taxis are not good at night, so good away The Marmara Crossing Sea is also a 10-minute walk. In addition to the location, I want to spit it out, the other is very satisfied, the hotel service is very good, the room is very clean, the soundproofing is also good, the subway station is the commercial center, everything is available, the whole is OK.

Nice Hotel with city view. Though it’s far away from the new airport. However everything is perfect. The room space is big enough. The bed is very soft and comfortable. The air is fresh, no smell. We slept well. The breakfast is very nice. The front desk service is very warm, English is very good. I will still choose this hotel when I visit Istanbul next time.

Great hotel in a good location at the airport. We had to catch the plane early and it's ideal for that. You are not allowed to walk to the airport yourself, there is a free shuttle bus every 30 minutes. Hotel restaurant a bit expensive.

I don't quite understand how this hotel distributes the room. I clearly gave the twin room at the beginning of the big bed room, and asked to change to a big bed room and then gave room 01 on another floor. Colleagues lived in other places. Room 01 on the floor. The feeling is intentional! And the bathroom setting in the room is extremely unreasonable! Will not live again!

The hotel is very good and definitely worthy of this rating! The front desk was welcoming. We checked in early at the last hotel. It was only at 9 in the morning. The front desk helped us check the available room and check it in early. It was very human. Breakfast should be outsourced, provided by the restaurant next door. When we were eating, there were outsiders who were not guests to eat. We secretly listened to the offer of 40 lira, and said that the breakfast was fresh and tasted good. Finally, let's talk about the most important room. To be honest, when I first saw the picture, I felt that the room should be quite old, but it wasn't. It was the traditional Turkish style. The room was clean and comfortable. . We stayed in Istanbul for 4 days, and the last one stayed here, and only this one we stayed for 2 days. To be honest, we heard from the hotel that the compatriots who had just arrived in Turkey said that the hotel did not meet expectations. I can only say that you have not tried other hotels in the vicinity of the same price... Finally, there are many Chinese guests in this hotel. Everyone may be more excited when they come out. Our experience is around 12:30 in the evening. There are people around 6.7 in the morning who talk loudly and chat at our door. What time do you arrive, which room to stay in, where to go tomorrow? Play... Like this, I hope that everyone understands each other and thinks about the feelings of others. This insignificant chilling night or morning is standing at someone’s door and saying a 4.5 minute is not appropriate... Also for breakfast When I saw a Chinese boy taking a public honey spoon and taking it back, the parents next to it didn’t know if they didn’t see it or they dribbled. They didn’t say a word, they didn’t stop it... Of course Nothing to do with the hotel, no matter which hotel you can't say you are not allowed to chat, not allowed, in short, Larahan Hotel is very good 👍👍👍

We began our trip to Turkey in Istanbul and since we had not planned it welo we blindly chose amber hotel. This was the best coincidence ever. We had seen some of the reviews from the past but I must say that they were wrong in my humble opinion. We were cautious since this was a country that was new to both my wife and I and because of the covid era had change our plans from honeymooning in Thailand to Turkey. Things happen for a reason and this was a prime example. The people in this hotel care about one thing only....making your experience great. Yakup the king of the night was the reason that we chose to end our 17 day trip around turkey back with Amber hotel..... the man is trustworthy caring and has the most energy that I have seen in a long time....he is a blast. He also went out of his way to help us get in contact with Ozge from wanderlust travel she helped us relax by helping us organiza a trip around turkey in less time than it would have taken me to login to my computer back home......she knows Turkey and fit the itinerary to our likes and dislikes.....Yakup thank you.....can’t wait to come back to Istanbul and visit so we can meet again. If your in Istanbul and looking for a great stay and one that is trustworthy this is the place....we felt like if something happened to us in Istanbul we could call Yakup and he would move mountains to help us.

I have to talk about this hotel. More than a thousand yuan per night, I set a five-night, family suite, spent more than 5,000, live a family of four. The result went in, there was only one room, one large bed inside, plus two folding sofa beds. As in Figure 6, a small family of four squeezed into a house, simply... a bathroom, about four or five square meters, anyway, interested to live, who knows who lives. Our sailing group of 8 needed to fly to Istanbul to connect thru to Dalaman for a yacht we had chartered there. We decided to pause in Istanbul to experience the city and were glad we did. This hotel is a great location as mosques, bazars, shops, restaurants are all in a 15 min walking distance. Only breakfast service was provided on their terrace but the hotel allowed guests to use it for a lounge at all other times. We found ice (booze) across the street, liquor around the corner and two blocks down, along with snacks, so had all the necessaries our yachtie community demands. Rooms were clean, tidy and efficient. I stayed in the 'Golden Horn Suite, top floor below the terrace deck and it turned out to be just a bit bigger than other rooms, nothing fancy but quaint. Staff was friendly, competent and we all enjoyed this hotel as a base for our exploring. We ferried over to the Asian side and I personally was not impressed, guess I didn't read the brochure close enough. Definitely partake in a full service hamam, there are nery nice ones near the Grand Bazar, not to be missed.

The hotel is located on the Bosphorus, and the location and scenery are nothing to say. The hotel restaurant is a restaurant on the side of the strait. When you have breakfast, you can blow the sea breeze and watch a boat on the Bosphorus pass by. It is definitely a great experience. The night view at night is also very beautiful, and the Bosphorus Bridge shines brightly on a clear night. The hotel restaurant can take a cruise on the strait and book it at the hotel. As an old luxury hotel, the biggest highlight of the four seasons is the service. Welcome from the main entrance, valet parking, restaurant service, room service, all aspects can reflect the excellent service level of the Four Seasons Hotel. The interior facilities of the hotel rooms are relatively old. After all, there are some years of opening.

The hotel location is very good, right next to the Sophia Cathedral and Topkapi Old Palace. The Blue Mosque, Yerebatan Underground Palace, Archeological Museum are also nearby. The most worry-free way to get from the new airport to the hotel is to take the airport bus to the Blue Mosque. The stop is on the west side of Sultan Ahmet Square and near the underground water palace. The fare is 18 lira. It was easy to find the hotel. The room you checked in is not in the same building as the main building. I do n’t know what the rooms in the main building look like. After checking in, an electric car will be sent to the rooms a few hundred meters away, just outside the back wall of the Sophia Cathedral and Topkapi. Adjacent to the old palace, the rooms are very new and clean. I felt this room was small after check-in, not exactly like the exquisite suite introduced on the booking page, only the bedroom and bathroom, lack of the outer room of the suite, go to the front desk to communicate at night, the front desk explained that the rooms are different in size but the same area, but After insisting on giving them reason, a supervisor later coordinated the next day to change to the same room as the scheduled introduction. So be careful when booking this hotel. The wording of the introduction of different rooms is not clear, or you will suffer.

Walking distance to Marmaray train station, tram and ferry pier. Hotel room is well designed, with a rooftop restaurant can have a good sunset view. Breakfast is taking place at lower lobby floor and has a good variety of high quality food. Turkish bath and massage services are good and prices are reasonable. Among all, the worst thing of this hotel is counter staff. I stayed for 3 nights there and was assigned for 1/F room for 1st night despite I made a remark of requesting a room on higher floor when booking and arrived at hotel counter at 12:00 for leaving luggage and being asked for passports to check-in. The hotel staff told me that no room was available until 14:00. I requested for a WiFi password, she gave a 3/F room number as a temporary password. I reacted that I had requested for a higher floor room, and she replied that she would provide a higher floor room, not the 3/F to me. When I come back at 14:00, the same blonde hair lady requested me to present passports again for photocopy and told me that the hotel is fully booked except 1/F room. I argued with her, and she said there was miscommunication and she had never promised to provide a higher floor room. Ultimately, she said she would move me to a room on 6/F for 2nd and 3rd night stay. I spent the 1st night in a room on 1/F, facing the street on hotel main entrance. It was noisy at night and I was being awakened.

The location is perfect, the metro is 7 minutes on foot, the tram is 1 minute, to the main attractions in a straight line 20 minutes on foot, 5 minutes by tram. Room cleaning - every day. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, on the terrace of the seagulls. Great hammam, massage. Took without food, so I can not say anything about breakfast. But a couple of times had dinner at the hotel, everything is delicious. The prices in the hotel are, in my opinion, overpriced. At the entrance to the hotel, security is on duty. Sometimes cheap can be expensive! I called them from the airport asking for a shuttle transfer and they told me it costs €25 each person. Then when I arrived to the place I saw they offer that transfer for €10. The entrance to the building looked quite damaged and dirty, with mattresses and scrap in the hallways, similar to a house inhabited by yonkies. The entrance to the room instead of a wall, had a plastic tarp similar to a construction site. The room was nothing more than a wooden cubicle surrounding a bed, the towels on the bed had strands of hair and brown spots. It was also not possible to completely close the door of the room. We didn’t feel good nor safe there, and we decided to leave and go to another hotel even when we had to lose the money we paid.

Highly recommended, location: Istanbul - the core location of the old town tour. Opposite the window is the groundwater palace exit; another room window facing the Sofia Cathedral, 50 meters walk from the back door of the hotel is the exit and entrance of Topkapi Palace; the entrance to the hotel is 60 meters away from the entrance to the Sofia Church, the entrance to the church Close to the Blue Mosque and the Church Square; it is a century-old house in the old European district. It seems that the pedestrians who appear on the window are very European. In the morning, we walked along the wall of Topkapi Palace to the beach to see the locals swimming in the sea; visit the church, the palace, and the mosque; the hotel is very close, you can go back to the room and take a shower before you can go; see the pedestrians and dogs in the square in the afternoon. Dogs play; at night, the church and the square are dimly lit, and there are many barbecues and various food choices around the street. Look for locals to visit and enjoy the food. It is very convenient to live in the scenic spot; Hotel service: 8:00 early flight to the hotel, handsome guys chat for a while, help us to stay directly. Very enthusiastic. Hotel soft service is 5 star quality; the hotel has 2 free bicycles, and interested friends can cycle around Sofia Square. Hardware facilities: The rooms are not large. For those who are used to large-sized luxury houses, they should be mentally prepared in advance. It is difficult to expect large rooms in the old European city. The room area is in line with our expectations. The interior is equipped with fine details and various services, belonging to the boutique hotel. Breakfast: more abundant, there are questions about the degree of omelette and coffee juice, the service is 5 stars. During the period, there were lonely boasting people who performed similar rotating dance music. The next day, considering the need to go to the Grand Bazaar to facilitate the peninsula of another hotel in AJW, it turned out to be a mistake and should stay in the hotel for another night. AJWa is twice as expensive. In the vicinity of the Grand Bazaar, the interior decoration is luxurious, but it needs a very steep slope. It is very hard. It is a wholesaler of shoes. It is a bit messy at night. It is still a little worried to walk back to the alley of the hotel. .

This was out second time staying here. It is still a great little hotel in a good location for many historic sites. Rooms and bathrooms are typical European size as is the elevator. The staff are great, help and very accommodating. A special shout out to ”Baba” (Rambo) Ramazan who makes sure we are all well fed a good breakfast before we head out to explore. He even cam in extra early to make us breakfast before leaving at 4:30am to fly home. One tip is not to stay her during Ramadan as this hotel is right on a corner to one of the main access pointes to the Hagia Sofia. A lot of nose from traffic and pedestrians late into the night and early in morning.

Excellent location of the hotel! Near all the shrine of the old city: Aya Sofia, Blue Mosque, Bazilica Town, TOPKAPI Palace with the park, St. Irina, archaeological museum, near Bosphorus. Many delicious cafes, restaurants, sweets, carpets, clothing and ornaments, three stops by tram GRAND BAZAAR (7 minutes walk). Eat and dinner in cafes and restaurants where locals sit, even if it is a small cafe on 4 tables. It will be cozy and delicious.

Hotel service must give super 5 stars, great location, just next to T1 station, walk to Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque 7-8 minutes! The new airport is on the bus line 17 to the sulnahmet station. It is a mosque. It takes a few steps to get to the hotel! We arrived at the hotel at 8:00 in the morning and actually gave us a room. We could also eat the breakfast of the day. After the afternoon, we had afternoon tea and it was great!

We stayed at Romantic Mansion Apartment on two occasions during Oct.2019. The apartment is good and clean. The breakfast slight above average. There is room for improvement though. The location is excellent. BUT.... The biggest plus factor was the meeting of Mr.Selim the Manager of the Hotel. This gentleman went out of his way to ensure our pleasant enjoyable memorable holiday of Turkey. He fought valiantly with Tour Operators for prices on Hot Air Balloons in Cappadocia; Taxi operators to Airport to and fro; shopkeepers;organizing Tramp cards; and sorting local arrangements daily. Holiday was fun with his local assistance all the way. His personality was exceptional. Thank you Mr.Selim In appreciation which should not go unnoticed.

My wife and I stayed at Black Tulip Hotel for 11 nights and it was a marvelous experience. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with coffee and tea and the hotel staff brought our luggage up to our room. The room itself had everything we needed and offered complimentary coffee/tea and water daily. From staying in hotels in America, I expected to see a light breakfast every morning, but our favorite part of the stay was getting to try all kinds of food and the variety provided in the breakfast every morning. It was buffet style and they catered to every kind of appetite! We loved trying all the different food every morning before beginning our journey throughout Istanbul! Another favorite about this hotel was the incredible, polite, and professional hotel staff! They were multilingual and offered us assistance at every step of the way. At one point, we needed to travel to Bahçeşehir to visit family and the staff at the front desk called us a cab and ensured we would not be overcharged on our trip while communicating to them in Turkish where we needed to go. They also offered to schedule our PCR test to needed to travel back to America the day before our check out and provided the results in a timely manner. The hotel stay by itself was great but the service my wife and I experienced at this hotel was unprecedented and we would be happy to stay here every time we visit the beautiful city of Istanbul. It is in a central location near the tram and within a short walking distance to Ayasofya through a nice stroll in Gülhane Park. The staff guided us to whatever destination we wanted to explore for the day and offered their local expertise and experience with the best way to get there. Definitely received a 5 star experience here and I would highly recommend Hotel Black Tulip to friends and family who desire a world class hotel in the heart of Istanbul.

I stayed in a very small room. Wardrobe and minibar fridge has been kept beside the bed side. Very hot air is coming from the minibar fridge, room is always very hot . During the 17degree temperature outside , I put on my air conditioner in 18 degrees and slept all the 4 days. Within this price range, you can find much better hotels in that area with more cheaper rates also. The guy who is working in the breakfast restaurant, named Azeez provides excellent service at breakfast .

It's very close to the tram, so it's so good to move your luggage ㅠ I thought it would be noisy because it's on the road. The owner is so friendly and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast is also better than other hotels. My lady makes breakfast well. I stayed in Istanbul for more than 10 days and I went to several hotels, but I like the location, cleanliness and best here ㅋㅋ The downside is that the room is a bit narrow and the bed is too hard? I think I'm booking a cheap room ㅋㅋ I'll stay here again if I come to Istanbul !!!!

The hotel is in a very good location. Walking distance to attractions, restaurants, shops and the market. Pluses are all. Service is poor. On the second day, we decided to extend the stay for another 3 days, we did this through the trip program. They called the reception, they said they would look. As a result, after 2 hours they came to evict us. I showed them the reservation number. And even then they could not find. And they settled us in another room. Also, the downside is that the audibility at the hotel is just awful. Opposite our window were also the windows of our neighbors, 3-4 meters from us. Smoking is also through the window, the window has virtually no access to the street, there is a closed passage between our windows and the windows of our neighbors.

Anka Grand Hotel The location is superb, and going out to the right is less than 50 meters is the light rail station. There are also a small supermarket next to the hotel and a lot of convenience stores. We have a room in a certain time, with a credit card guarantee, it is super convenient to pay at the store. Because it is in a bustling area, the price will be relatively higher. The interior of the hotel is a bit old and the facilities are old, but they are very clean and tidy. The hotel waiter helped us to take the baggage upstairs, although our Turkey thought that there was no tip, but we still gave 10 liras.

My boutique Hotel - what can I say a little gem of a hotel. If you want to live amongst the locals experience local life eat at very reasonably priced restaurants. Be 10 min walk from the sulimaniya mosque. 15 min walk from Emenio tram and 15min from spice bazaar then this is the place. Not only for these reasons you should book but also book for the following. The rooms are immaculate clean tidy and beautiful they all have a mini fridge. Bathrooms are immaculate with a shower and complimentary shampoo shower soap and hand soap. A hair dryer is also provided. Wi Fi in all rooms and super fast connection .The Manger Jon could not do enough for us and the rest of the team equally helpful nothing was ever too much from booking us a taxi to finding us an iron to use. Our travel agent had booked us a twin room by mistake. When we reached the hotel we asked if a double was available unfortunately there was not but where told after 3 days a family room would become available and for a very small fee we could have this one and we did. The roof Terrance has a beautiful view of the sulimaniya mosque. Over all a pleasant stay do not get put off by the street this is not the centre of a tourist place but home for locals who are very friendly I as a woman went out and about on my own and did not feel threatened or harassed. I think a few little tweaks would make this place even better. 1. Tea and coffee making facility in the room we brits like our morning cup of tea. 2. The family room we stayed in was on the ground floor for decor purposes they had a glass wall ( don’t worry you can not see in or out) however in the night when the light is on of the lobby this gave continues light into the room. A curtain would be perfect to draw at night . 3. The terrace I would of used a little more than I did if it was a little more welcoming plants some traditional Turkish sofas with cushions. 4. May be a few English speaking channels on the TV However the above are only suggestions and do not take away from the fact how beautiful this hotel was and the hospitality was superb. We are definitely looking to book again this year with our children

I came here with my girlfriend in September and everything was good. The rooms & bathrooms were clean, the terrace was large and the breakfast was tasty and more than enough. They let us stay at the terrace 24/7 where we had free tea, caffe and juice. The hotel is situated near the major attractions (about 10 minutes walking until Hagia Sofia for instance) and it’s very quiet at night on the hotel’s street. I definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful views and just a few minutes walk from the grand bazaar. We walked everywhere as everything was close by. He went above and beyond and we are very grateful. Will definitely be visiting again.
