"We stayed for two nights, and the hotel was really great. The room was clean, and they even offered two types of pillows to choose from. Our two kids drink a lot of water, and when we ran out of bottled water, we could just ask the front desk for more, which was complimentary – a really nice touch. The only minor issue was that extending our stay for the following nights was a bit expensive. They said it's because it was a Friday and Saturday next to a scenic area, which is understandable."

The room hygiene was excellent; the floors, bathroom, and bedding were all spotless and odor-free. The soundproofing was also great, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety, with plenty of hot and cold dishes, fruits, and drinks, satisfying all basic meal needs. The only downside is that the hotel is quite old. The indoor furniture, bathroom fixtures, and TV all show clear signs of age, and some appliances look worn and didn't offer the best user experience. If they were to renovate the facilities, it could easily be a five-star experience."

"The hotel's location is great, right outside Metro Exit B. However, Exit B only has an escalator going up, and stairs for going down, so be mindful if you have luggage. The hotel shares a building with Tianxiang Tower. The lobby and front desk are a bit small, and the room facilities are a bit old, but the air conditioning works well. There's an extension cord for outlets, and the service is decent. They even send a fruit platter to the room. There's a Popeyes and an electric scooter rental shop nearby."

"The room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless. They even offer two types of pillows, firm and soft, to choose from. It's incredibly good value for money, especially with the free airport shuttle service. You just need to book it at the front desk. Shuttles to the airport run every half hour, and pickups from the airport are hourly."

"I booked a king-sized room with a lake view. I arrived quite early and asked for a higher floor, and the front desk staff happily arranged a room on the highest floor, the 22nd. The room has two large windows overlooking the lake, so you can enjoy the beautiful West Lake scenery without even leaving the room. I could see the Baochu Pagoda up close and the Leifeng Pagoda and City God Temple in the distance, all while enjoying the air conditioning in the room. The room was very spacious and clean, and the separate toilet and shower design was a thoughtful touch. The bedding was very comfortable, and the air conditioning wasn't blowing directly on us. The location is also excellent. It's about a ten-minute walk to Wulin Night Market in the evening. During the day, it's only about a ten-minute bike ride to Broken Bridge and Baochu Pagoda on the north side of West Lake. My high-speed train on the day of departure was at around 2 PM. I tried asking if I could have a late checkout, just to see, and probably because it was a Sunday afternoon and not many new guests were checking in, the hotel readily extended our checkout until 2 PM. We packed up and checked out a little after 1 PM, which was very relaxed and pleasant. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit West Lake."

"The facilities are excellent, hygiene is great, and the environment and location are superb. Just turn left and walk straight, and you're at the Intime shopping district and the West Lake musical fountain. Longxiangqiao subway station is also right nearby, making transportation very convenient. The service is attentive and enthusiastic! The room bar is very generous, with 6 bottles of mineral water every day, plus milk and nuts. There's a mini-fridge in the room, which is a lifesaver in summer. The hotel's bags and room cards are beautifully designed, and they even gave me a souvenir upon check-out. The bathroom has a rainfall shower, which is fantastic!"

Just a few minutes' walk out the door, and you'll find a Lawson convenience store, teahouses, cafes, and plenty of dining and shopping options – it's really comprehensive. Ladies who love qipaos can explore the nearby qipao shops; there's a great variety of styles and stores. You can even pick out matching mother-daughter outfits for a photoshoot at West Lake – it'll give you that classic江南 (Jiangnan) vibe. For Didi rides, set your location to: 'Hotel back entrance - No. 57 Guangfu Road / Haoyi Hotel Parking Lot 🅿️' **Subway 🚇:** It's a convenient 4-6 minute walk to Ding'an Road D/C exits. While the room wasn't huge, it's understandable given its proximity to major attractions, and the cleanliness was excellent! "What a fantastic experience, I absolutely have to give the Xihu State Guesthouse a five-star rating! This time, I brought my child along. There were plenty of parking spaces for self-driving, and hailing a taxi was super convenient. From the moment we stepped in, we were amazed. The lobby was spacious and bright, and the welcome tea was delicious and refreshing. The service was incredibly thoughtful; the front desk staff were gentle and patient, and our luggage was delivered directly to our room, so we didn't have to lift a finger. The room was tastefully decorated, and the bedding was so soft, I slept wonderfully. The room even had its own small courtyard, giving my child plenty of space to play. Both the room and the hotel's public facilities were very new; the pool and gym were clean and tidy. The biggest surprise was the children's play area – my child didn't want to leave! The summer activities were so rich, with craft classes and a tea museum, there was something new for the kids every day, finally giving parents a chance to relax. The dining was absolutely perfect; the breakfast selection was so vast it was hard to choose, and the Longjing shrimp and Dongpo pork for lunch and dinner were very authentic. And the scenery, well, that goes without saying. You can see West Lake from the hotel grounds, with winding paths leading to secluded spots; morning strolls felt like walking through a painting. Special shoutout to the guest relations team, who even gave my child a gift upon check-out. All in all, everyone in the family, young and old, was satisfied. We definitely have to come back next summer!"
