My InterContinental Resort stay was fantastic this time. First, a big thanks to our butler, Bonnie Tan, for upgrading us to a Deluxe Seaview room. We could see the ocean and the sunrise, although it was a pity that heavy rain the first two days made the nearshore waters murky. As of now, after two days, the yellowish area has reduced by about a third; I estimate it will take a week to fully clear up. Yesterday, the sunrise was partly obscured by clouds, but it was still beautiful. The room layout was excellent, very spacious with a wide open plan. The bathroom had two sinks and a vanity, and the shower faced the sea, perfect for watching the sunrise in the morning. The bathtub was on the balcony; if I had stayed another day, I definitely would have enjoyed it. The Tianfu Chinese restaurant was delicious. They had a great value couple's set menu. The Crispy Pork Sandwich was perfect for those with a taste from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai. The grouper felt like it weighed a pound, and the chicken fat rice was so good I posted about it on both Dianping and Xiaohongshu. Other à la carte dishes were a bit pricey, probably 300-400 RMB per person. The tennis court was affordable at 180 RMB an hour, including rackets. They were all Wilson rackets; I couldn't identify the model but definitely not the Clash series. There were two with thin grips and two with thicker ones. Like the court itself, they were quite old. The pink thin-grip one I used felt like the strings were a bit loose, not as tight as the blue thin-grip one. The staff also set up a table and chairs, providing towels and water, which was a nice touch. The hotel lobby had a very high ceiling, grand decor, and an expansive space that was truly refreshing, much better than the feeling I got at the Yalong Bay Marriott. All the staff were friendly and greeted guests, and service was very responsive, including the front desk, lobby, Tianfu Bay restaurant, family pool, tennis court, and even the maintenance staff on the beach 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Before our trip, the forecast predicted continuous rain for days, which made me quite worried about bad weather. However, upon arrival, it turned out to be sunny every single day. This hotel sits nestled between a few different bays, hoping to offer both family-friendly amenities and a relaxing, unwinding experience for adults. 🍼 **Kids' Activities** ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The indoor play area and children's pool were fantastic! We had so much fun playing with our little one there. The family pool, right next to the sea, stays open until 10 PM. We visited the massage shallow pool and infinity pool almost every day – so incredibly relaxing. Our baby is still too young for the thrilling water slides and interactive classes, but they still burst into joyful squeals and giggles now and then. Playing in the waves and digging in the sand was also a huge hit every day. ☕️ **Poolside Restaurant** ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was definitely the highlight of our trip! I'd heard good things about the Grand Hyatt's food before coming, and it certainly didn't disappoint. Breakfast is served leisurely until 2 PM, with a semi-buffet style offering both buffet items and à la carte options. The cold cuts, tropical fresh fruits, baked pastries, and traditional cooling desserts were all visibly high quality. The à la carte hot food selection was exceptionally rich, featuring lobster spaghetti, seafood fermented rice noodles, king crab wonton noodles, seafood congee, Australian steak shakshuka, Wagyu muffins… The variety was dazzling, and the presentation was exquisite. Delicious and beautiful – truly a feast for both the eyes and the palate! 🤵🏻‍♀️ **Butler Service** ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our butler, Diana, was incredibly responsive and attentive from before check-in until after we left. She replied to messages instantly and provided wonderful emotional support. We booked a sea-view family two-bedroom suite with a perfect view of the coconut groves and beach, and ample public space. Diana consistently reminded us to enjoy all the available benefits, leaving our bellies constantly full and happy. 🗺️ Our five-day, four-night journey quickly came to an end. Traveling with a toddler just over a year old, while compromising on the 'breadth' of our travels, certainly multiplied our happiness. ⛵️ Looking forward to our next adventure, hoping for countless more wonderful journeys ahead.

Our butler, Ultraman, was incredibly thoughtful and communicative! We also received some “surprise gifts 🎁.” We're so satisfied with The Sanya EDITION! 😂🤣 The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a fantastic spread of Chinese and Western, savory and sweet options. You absolutely have to try the pickled vinegar wontons, almond slice bread, DIY mini hotpot 🍲, and especially the freshly squeezed juices. The room ambiance was also great. There were even morning yoga classes; I managed to attend the 7:30 AM class even while on vacation – the beach yoga was amazing! They also have water bikes, kayaks, and tandem options – I loved it all! It felt less like being in China and more like the Maldives, hehe.

This hotel is located within the forest park scenic area, which is very convenient for sightseeing. They also offer a dedicated shuttle service. While dining out isn't very convenient, you can order takeout, and the front desk will arrange for a car to deliver it right to your room. We were traveling with seniors and children, and the hotel thoughtfully suggested that the Jijiandi room type had many steps. They proactively moved us to the Fenghuangtai, which has a spacious private pool. Each room type is situated in its own independent area on the mountain, requiring a ride to access. For our baby's birthday, the hotel decorated the bed and even provided a cake – a very thoughtful touch! We experienced a distinct musty smell near the headboard due to the rain that day, which is understandable. It's a completely different experience than staying by the sea and definitely worth trying!

The hotel views were definitely great. The 8th-floor rooftop was perfect for watching sunsets, and the beach, sand, and coconut groves made for excellent photo opportunities. Since we booked a family room, we didn't have a high-floor view and could only see the coconut trees. On the first day, there was a slight musty smell when we opened the room door, but it improved after ventilating the balcony and was gone on subsequent days. Room cleaning required daily requests to the butler or front desk, as they mentioned having too many rooms and limited staff. However, there were times when we needed immediate trash removal, and despite agreeing to it, there was no follow-up. I understand that cleaners might not be able to determine if items on a table should be removed, but on one occasion, we found uncleaned trash and asked for a second cleaning. The staff agreed, but no one ever came. Compared to other hotels I've stayed at, the butler's response time for messages wasn't the quickest, but if you don't have a comparison, it's acceptable. Most requests were handled promptly. I want to commend the travel photography service, Platinum Photography. The hotel initially offered 5 complimentary photos, so we decided to let our child have a photoshoot. The photographer was excellent – great composition and very patient. They provided wonderful emotional support during the shoot, making our child very happy and resulting in a beautiful set of photos from Hainan. The makeup artist was also fantastic; the makeup was playful, and the hair was neat and pretty. I loved the look immediately after it was done. Regarding hotel facilities, the slides weren't very interesting for my child because she had previously visited the Venepos in Lingshui, and these slides felt too small and few. However, she thoroughly enjoyed the hand-cranked cars. The pool was also good; the 1.5-meter deep pool was heated, allowing us to swim late into the evening. You can rent pedal bikes within the resort, which is a nice way to explore the entire hotel grounds. For dining, the noodles at the noodle house were tasty, and the service was excellent, with issues resolved promptly. Ya Cui offered an evening buffet with performances, BBQ, Korean bibimbap, and budae jjigae. For me, the price was a bit high, offering poor value for money. Cai Yue Xuan, an à la carte restaurant, had decent food. Regarding food delivery, there were only three robots, so during peak times, we often had to wait 20 minutes and then call the front desk after delivery. I personally found the smaller rooms more comfortable. Our room in Building 79 was quite far from the lobby, requiring a very long walk, and waiting for the shuttle bus also took time. Although it was close to the beach, the main activities like the kids' club, breakfast, and exiting the hotel still required going to the lobby area.

This trip to Sanya, choosing The Ritz-Carlton, definitely exceeded my expectations. The entire stay was incredibly comfortable and relaxing, truly a perfect holiday experience. Even before checking in, I felt the thoughtful service. I was able to check in early, which saved me the hassle of waiting. The check-in process was very efficient, and the staff were responsive and attentive to all my needs. Communication was smooth whenever I had questions. The room I was assigned was exactly what I wanted; the view was unbeatable, offering a wide, beautiful panorama. I could enjoy the stunning scenery right from my bed, which created an amazing atmosphere. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making for an excellent stay, perfect for both rest and leisure. The service was particularly commendable. From check-in to check-out, everything was meticulously arranged, with attention to detail evident everywhere. I especially want to praise the hotel's passion fruit – it was sweet, refreshing, and delicious, adding a delightful little surprise to my trip. Overall, the holiday experience was truly wonderful. Both the facilities and the service were impeccable, with absolutely no complaints. This trip brought back many beautiful memories, and I highly recommend this place for a vacation. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Sanya and will recommend it to my friends and family. Looking forward to my next stay!

I stayed here for three days this time. Every year for National Day, I choose Sanya to relax, but this time I decided to stay in Yalong Bay instead of Haitang Bay. I was pretty lazy and didn't explore much. The villa's privacy, which is the most important aspect, was good. Day 1: Arrived very late from Ningbo. Housekeeper Cici arranged for a photography light to illuminate the courtyard. Day 2: I had the 'do not disturb' button on in the bedroom at night, but then pressed 'please make up room' when I left, which caused a misunderstanding and no one came to clean. The team was very apologetic, came immediately to clean and replenish toiletries, and even gave us 8 bottles of water. I could feel their effort to provide good service, especially since prices surge during National Day, haha. Day 3: My flight back to Ningbo was in the evening, and they gave us a 2 PM late check-out, which was great! The 2 PM check-out gave us just enough time for a massage to fill the schedule. PS: I tried the complimentary floating afternoon tea and the evening 'tipsy' experience – both were decent. I didn't try the travel photography as I don't like taking pictures, haha. Overall, as someone who just wanted to relax, I was satisfied.

Overall, I'm very satisfied! A big thank you to our butler, Hellen, for the thoughtful service. She always responded to messages immediately, solved problems promptly, and was incredibly accommodating. I was a bit worried after reading some reviews, but after experiencing it myself, while the hotel's hardware might show some age given how long it's been open, the service was truly excellent and lives up to the brand's reputation! The experience was fantastic! The breakfast offered a wide variety of food and was very plentiful. I've never seen a hotel serve breakfast until 11:30 AM, which was perfect for us late risers. It made for a wonderfully relaxed day. Thank you! The hotel's parking lot was also spacious with plenty of spots, making it ideal for those traveling by car. We truly enjoyed a relaxing vacation, and I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Sanya.

Our comfortable seaside trip began at the Mangrove Tree Resort in Haitang Bay. Our butler, Ella, provided meticulous service, offering travel recommendations in advance and responding promptly to any issues, which made us feel incredibly at ease. The hotel's garden lawns create a wonderful ambiance, especially romantic at sunset. The iconic helipad offers a stunning panoramic view of the entire bay, truly breathtaking. The selected travel photography exceeded expectations; they didn't force poses but were good at capturing natural expressions. The photos taken on the lawn and helipad turned out exceptionally well. The beautiful scenery and warm service brought a perfect end to our Sanya trip.

We planned two days in Haitang Bay during our Sanya trip. Initially, we booked a hotel-style apartment near Atlantis Waterpark, which had high online ratings. However, as soon as we checked in, we were shocked by how old and outdated the facilities were. We negotiated with the hotel, paid a 30% cancellation fee, and checked out. Afterward, we rebooked at the Wanda Realm Resort, and both my daughter and I were pleasantly surprised: 1. The facilities were incredibly new, and the hotel lobby was grand. 2. The service was excellent. 3. The location was superb; the beach was just a short walk away. 4. The hotel had a full range of recreational facilities. The pool water was very clean, and there was a foam party in the afternoon. In the evening, there were plenty of activities, including a lawn movie and a bonfire party. My child had an absolutely fantastic time, and both of us felt it was incredibly worthwhile. The hotel also has a Hainan Li Village restaurant, which has a beautiful ambiance, reasonable prices, and, most importantly, delicious food! I highly recommend this hotel! It’s the best one I've stayed at in Sanya~
