To sum it up, this was a nearly perfect vacation, and in my opinion, if you're looking for a quiet, tranquil, and comfortable resort experience, then Banyan Tree Sanya is the absolute best in Sanya! Beyond these advantages that surpass other hotels, Banyan Tree doesn't skimp on the expected perks of a luxury brand. First, the online claims of outdated facilities are unfounded; everything is in perfect working order. Second, regarding hygiene, even with a private pool villa nestled in the rainforest, I found the cleanliness to be absolutely up to standard! I was also quite satisfied with breakfast, especially the sour and spicy seafood noodles and the egg tarts – absolutely superb! And most importantly, the service. You can tell the front desk and concierge staff are genuinely dedicated; they are very patient and communicate and resolve issues promptly. Since it was our anniversary, they even upgraded our room when available, a big thank you to our butler, Youyou, for this wonderful hospitality! Overall, this trip far exceeded my expectations, and I am extremely satisfied!

This was my first time staying at The Westin Sanya Haitang Bay Resort, and overall it was quite good. Although we experienced typhoon weather for both nights, the hotel stay was excellent. It's well-located near the duty-free shop, making shopping convenient. The resort grounds are vast and it's right by the beach. Our butler, Ella, also provided excellent service. 🏨 Room Type: We stayed in a high-floor sea view room. From the balcony, we could see the entire hotel public area and the distant sea view, which was spectacular and expansive. The hotel's public areas are beautiful, and looking out, it truly felt like a vacation. The room was also quite spacious and very comfortable. 💁🏻♀️ Service: We were contacted by phone the day before to confirm our itinerary, and we had a dedicated butler. All our requests were met. I'd especially like to commend our butler, Ella, for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and prompt responses. She greatly enhanced our trip, and we'll definitely seek her out again next time! 🍲 Dining Service: We tried breakfast and lunch at Mai Restaurant, as well as a seafood BBQ buffet dinner. The dining experience was very good. Mai Restaurant's à la carte system allowed us to enjoy exquisite and delicious meals. Although the BBQ buffet dinner was moved indoors, the overall food selection was quite rich. I highly recommend the 'zaopo cu fen' (a type of noodle dish with sour and spicy broth) – it was delicious, and the durian mille-feuille was also great!

My InterContinental Resort stay was fantastic this time. First, a big thanks to our butler, Bonnie Tan, for upgrading us to a Deluxe Seaview room. We could see the ocean and the sunrise, although it was a pity that heavy rain the first two days made the nearshore waters murky. As of now, after two days, the yellowish area has reduced by about a third; I estimate it will take a week to fully clear up. Yesterday, the sunrise was partly obscured by clouds, but it was still beautiful. The room layout was excellent, very spacious with a wide open plan. The bathroom had two sinks and a vanity, and the shower faced the sea, perfect for watching the sunrise in the morning. The bathtub was on the balcony; if I had stayed another day, I definitely would have enjoyed it. The Tianfu Chinese restaurant was delicious. They had a great value couple's set menu. The Crispy Pork Sandwich was perfect for those with a taste from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai. The grouper felt like it weighed a pound, and the chicken fat rice was so good I posted about it on both Dianping and Xiaohongshu. Other à la carte dishes were a bit pricey, probably 300-400 RMB per person. The tennis court was affordable at 180 RMB an hour, including rackets. They were all Wilson rackets; I couldn't identify the model but definitely not the Clash series. There were two with thin grips and two with thicker ones. Like the court itself, they were quite old. The pink thin-grip one I used felt like the strings were a bit loose, not as tight as the blue thin-grip one. The staff also set up a table and chairs, providing towels and water, which was a nice touch. The hotel lobby had a very high ceiling, grand decor, and an expansive space that was truly refreshing, much better than the feeling I got at the Yalong Bay Marriott. All the staff were friendly and greeted guests, and service was very responsive, including the front desk, lobby, Tianfu Bay restaurant, family pool, tennis court, and even the maintenance staff on the beach 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Traveling with family, we booked a twin room on the 11th floor. The room was quite spacious, enough for three people! There were many family activities arranged, but they felt a bit perfunctory, as it's not a dedicated family hotel after all. The butler only contacted us after check-in, and the welcome fruit was delivered on the second night. The butler service was great and basically accommodated all our requests. I heard the Grand Hyatt's breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and it truly was! The breakfast definitely deserves high praise. However, the low rating is due to the hygiene conditions. 1. The small bed had a takeout food smell, I'm not sure why. The next morning, my child's arm had many bites. We informed the front desk, and they arranged for pest control and a change of bedding. 2. The room had a pervasive musty smell, even the pillows, perhaps because it had been raining for a few days. The front desk arranged a room change to the 12th floor, but that room also had a musty smell, so we just gave up. They provided a dehumidifier, which is better than nothing. Upon check-out, the hotel, feeling they hadn't satisfied us, offered either an airport transfer or lunch. Those who understand, understand the intention behind this! Overall, it didn't meet my expectations.

Our stay at Sheraton Sanya Resort was truly wonderful. Although the hotel is not new, it has a very special charm and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Our room was very cozy and comfortable, everything was kept exceptionally clean, and the view from our room was absolutely beautiful. The hotel has a fantastic beachfront location with direct access to the sea. The walk to the beach takes you through a beautiful tropical garden with green lawns and lovely landscaped areas, which gives the whole resort a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. There are several swimming pools, as well as plenty of facilities and activities for children. Breakfast is delicious and offers a very good selection of both European and Chinese dishes. Everything is fresh, and there is always plenty of food available. What impressed us most, however, was the service. The hotel staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and responsive. Everyone is always ready to help with any request, and you genuinely feel that they care about making your stay as pleasant as possible. The level of service has been excellent. A very special mention goes to Allim at the front desk. He helped us with every question we had and always made sure we had all the information we needed. He is extremely attentive, kind, patient, and helpful, and always made us feel that we could turn to him whenever we needed assistance. We truly appreciated his care and support throughout our stay. Another great advantage is that the front desk staff can communicate in Chinese and English, and there is even Russian-speaking assistance available. The overall atmosphere of the resort is wonderful and makes you want to come back. In fact, we enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to extend it for several more days. Thank you to the entire Sheraton Sanya Resort team for making our stay so comfortable and memorable!

Extremely satisfied with my stay. The sea view was fantastic! The weather was bad, so I stayed in the room the whole time and didn't get a chance to experience the pool. But this suite was truly excellent: clean, bright, and spacious. It had two separate bathrooms, and at night, the bedroom doors could be closed for privacy. Both rooms also had their own balconies. Although it's close to the airport and planes constantly flew overhead when on the balcony, you could barely hear any noise once the doors were closed. The downside: The food at the executive lounge was a bit disappointing. There was a limited variety of hot dishes, and all the desserts were mousse-based, which were both heavy and not very tasty. Wouldn't some regular cakes have been better?

Sheraton Haitang Bay has lots of kids friendly activities throughout the day and a mini train to take us through the prooperties (it goes to the next door JW Mariott properties as well). The family bicycle is also useful to take leisurely stroll around. We got a free upgrade to a room with swimming pool right outside our balcony which is fantastic - the kids love it! Late in-room dining of wenchang chicken rice and seafood fried rice were also delicious. Great experience overall

Our stay at the Yalong Bay Mangrove Tree Resort was absolutely fantastic! Beautiful scenery, excellent service, and comprehensive facilities – we'll definitely choose this place again next time. We arrived at 1:30 PM and were able to check in immediately. We booked two nights in a Coconut Grove Seaview Room, which stated it offered a 20-degree sea view. Room 2327, which we were given, was the closest to the sea, and the balcony view was wonderfully expansive. Upon arrival, the front desk staff helped with our luggage and delivered it to our room. In the evening, we received welcome fruits and milk, and at checkout, we got a small gift – a truly special touch. The breakfast spread was rich and varied, and the dining environment was lovely. The hotel has several restaurants with reasonable prices, and the food was delicious in terms of taste, color, and aroma. The beach management was also excellent: safe storage for valuables, beach chairs and towels readily available, and lifeguards on patrol – everything was well taken care of. A big thank you to our butler, Coral, who responded instantly to messages and promptly resolved any issues perfectly. We are genuinely satisfied and look forward to our next stay!

I chose the Sanya Haitang Bay Mangrove Resort for my trip to Sanya this time, and overall, I was quite satisfied with my stay. I booked a sea-view room, and the balcony faced the ocean directly. Waking up to the sea view in the morning was fantastic. The room was spacious enough, the bedding was comfortable, and there was a bathtub on the balcony – soaking in it while looking at the sea was really enjoyable. The breakfast had a wide variety and tasted good. Our butler, Steven, provided excellent service. He contacted us in advance to prepare the room, and he was very quick to respond on WeChat whenever we had questions. There are several swimming pools, and even transparent kayaks. The 'pet zone' was also a good way to pass the time. In the evening, there were free iron flower and fire dance performances on the lawn, which were quite lively.

I absolutely have to give a shout-out to Ella, the butler at Wanda Realm! To be honest, the room facilities are a bit dated; you can definitely see the age in the bathroom and furniture. But that didn't detract from our experience at all, because the butler service was simply outstanding! From adding her on WeChat to communicate our needs during check-in, to receiving daily thoughtful weather and activity reminders, every request was met with a prompt response. The butler even specially delivered a fresh fruit platter to our room. And at check-out, she had prepared Hainan specialty souvenirs. The attention to detail was incredible, making us feel truly valued and pampered. Moreover, the hotel's outdoor environment is absolutely stunning! The sand on the beach is as fine as flour, the seawater is crystal clear, and every photo you take looks like a wallpaper. The complimentary travel photoshoot was an even bigger surprise; the photographer patiently guided our poses, and the results were simply amazing. We ended up buying a package of over twenty photos, which was far better than any roadside photographer – why even bother with a bicycle when you have a luxury car? (a Chinese idiom meaning 'why settle for less when you can have the best') Honestly, I truly believe that without the dedicated efforts of these high-quality professionals, this hotel would struggle to operate so smoothly. The hardware might be old, but the warmth of the people makes up for it. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who values service experience!
