Spa Hotels in Sanya

I enjoyed staying at the Pearl River Garden hotel, during my 5 night stay I was really glad to meet the Owner Jim who has helped me during my stay here! The buffet breakfast was also very nice with a wide variety of food for everybody. The hotel has a gym, and two pools. I enjoyed soaking in the pool to cool down after a long day. Also I forgot to mention the hotel room itself, it’s very big, with a comfortable bed and a large shower. Everything is clean and the housekeeping are generous with giving you lots of water. I am happy to come back again!

The hotel was decent but didn’t quite have a grand or true 5-star feel. The room was spacious and clean, but the view was just okay, as the jetty somewhat disrupted it.

Thanks to Butler Wendy who is helpful in helping us upgrade to a Bigger and Better Sea View Apartment. It comes with a bathtub on the balcony. We just arrived at the hotel (after a red eye flight), she recommended a Coconut Chicken Hot pot next to the hotel and even brought us there. She constantly checks in with us to ensure that our stay is comfortable. Pros: 1. The location is convenient near the Sanya City so traveling around for food and attractions is easy with DiDi (taxi). 2. The bed is comfy. The apartment comes with a washing machine, fridge and induction cooker (but may have to ask them for the pots) 3. Breakfast is a good spread with Chinese and Western food options. Most importantly, breakfast time is till 1 pm. Cons: 1. Wifi is very very weak, and can't be used at all. And being a tourist (foreigner) we have to use our precious data roaming. 2. There is no chair and table at the balcony which does not allow us to sit and relax at the balcony. 3. The Swimming pool strangely is located outside of the hotel in a public space. So it feels weird going down for a swim. 4. There is no beach front but there is a beautiful pathway leading to Phoenix Island, so the walking and jogging is pleasant.

The resort is amazing as well as the whole commodities, but we encountered quite some issues. We actually booked two rooms and paid separately, but the staff charged me for both deposits ! When I asked not to! And they said yes we understood but they just didnt do it right. Also the deposit is ridiculously high. The deposit was bad managed and I asked for help and their poor english didnt help. So I guess if you speak mandarin youre safe… if youre a foreigner it will be more difficult just saying.

This hotel served its purpose and generally did so well. Excellent location. Pretty good breakfast. Nice amenities and layout. Cleanliness okay, though a little worn and dated in places, particularly the carpets outside of the rooms in the halls. Additional fees for use of pool floaties and towels. Use of extra water naturally incurred fees but also an aggressive knocking and doorbell ringing in the middle of the day to give me the receipt for the waters, waking us up from a nap for no good reason... Would prefer if the fee was simply noted at checkout. Overall pretty good and worth the price.

The B&B hotel is very good. It is also very close to the airport. The sanitation and service are very good. The air conditioner is also new. Everything else is new. The hotel B&B has been newly renovated and looks very good. I recommend staying here. I will check in next time. The price is also more affordable. I really think this hotel is good. This hotel is close to the airport, about 15 minutes, and it's about a 30 minutes drive into Sanya. It's good if you just want to be near the ocean and still be close to the airport. I enjoyed the stay here. Pros: The staff are helpful. The room was clean. Very exciting to see a thoroughly clean room, so I was 😁. The bed was very comfortable.🤩 The beach is about 5 minutes walk. 😍 I didn't try the food and other services as I was only stopping through and needed a cheap pace to sleep. There's a bathtub that works. The price is very reasonable and it's a good quality. Cons: The shower water didn't get as hot as I prefer. The air conditioner works well, but not well enough for a women in menopause 😅. The building is older so it shows. There are small minor details that could use maintenance but overall, the facilities are well kept. I don't see it as a concern but others might. There are a few negatives but still worth a stay.

Absolutely perfect deal for money paid. A bit remote area but in a couple of meters there are a lot of local restaurants and small shops. Perfect architecture, big rooms. Excellent staff. The only thing I do not recommend is a breakfast. For the rest it was a wonderful experience.

We had a great stay at Atlantis Sanya and would recommend it for families or anyone looking for a relaxed resort vibe with beautiful design and solid amenities. The resort itself is massive, with plenty of pools, restaurants, and things to do. Our room was opulent and well-equipped and everything we needed was there. The bed was super comfortable, water pressure in the shower was strong, and the air conditioning worked perfectly with easy temperature control. After long days in the sun, coming back to such a relaxing space made a big difference The Aquaventure water park was definitely a highlight. It was so much fun, and surprisingly, the lines were minimal compared to places like Volcano Bay in Florida. I was able to get on every ride immediately upon climbing up the MANY flights of stairs. There was also plenty of seating when we went, though I recommend arriving early around opening time (10 am) to grab a good spot. Note that they weigh you before most rides (there’s a scale right before boarding), so be sure to check weight restrictions on the website. That said, enforcement didn’t seem too strict. The lazy river with white water rapids was a blast and takes about 20 to 30 minutes to float through. Breakfast was another standout. There are two buffet areas so make sure to go to the one on the left (Saffron). It had a better spread and much nicer ambiance. Most guests turn right by default and miss out. The aquarium was smaller than expected and pretty packed with kids, but still enjoyable. We saw beluga whales and several beautifully maintained tanks. The marine life looked healthy and the enclosures were clean. Bonus: entry is free for hotel guests. The only downside was the beach, it’s public and a bit far from the resort, so we didn’t swim. Also, despite the Tiki Bar having live music and a great setup, the vibe was quiet and family-oriented. Although it looks perfect for it, don't expect a party scene like you’d find in Florida or the Bahamas. Overall, Atlantis Sanya delivers a lot: fun activities, great food, and gorgeous surroundings—just with a more relaxed energy.

Concierge and housekeeping staffs were friendly and helpful. However, the front desk staffs who assisted us with the check-in was not very helpful. As I used my passport number as the booking identification for this trip. they insisted to have a copy of my Chinese ID which I never encountered in any other Marriott bonvoy hotels before. Moreover, during the check-in, we asked about the room availability for additional night. They promised to check and keep us updated on this matter. And we heard no word from them throughout the stay :(
