JW Marriott Hotel Sanya Dadonghai Bay

I brought my grandson to Hainan for the holidays. I used to stay at Marriott frequently, so I chose Marriott again this time. However, after reading some negative reviews, I only booked for one night. As soon as we arrived at the hotel lobby, I was absolutely stunned – it truly lives up to its Marriott name, elegant and grand. Vicky, a lovely young lady at the front desk, greeted us with a smile, explained the benefits included with our room, and recommended the concierge manager to us. Manager Jia was truly attentive to guests and well-managed; she prepared children's amenities for us, and hearing that we missed the executive lounge hours, she arranged another day for us (even though we didn't go, we were very grateful). She also sent fruit, cake, and coconut for the little one. What moved us the most was that our flight was at 8 PM, and she extended our checkout until 5 PM – something no other hotel would easily do, especially during a holiday. We were so fortunate to meet Manager Jia this time. Her extremely thoughtful service, professional and skilled business acumen, and dedicated work attitude towards guests fully demonstrated the hotel's high standard of service and excellent brand image. She truly showed us what 'home away from home' means. We will definitely choose Marriott again next time we visit.

We had a family trip with seniors and children, and despite a few hiccups, it left us with unforgettable memories. The resort grounds are tranquil with lush greenery, and the facilities are comprehensive, especially the excellent kids' play areas. Yara was incredibly gentle and patient, responding promptly to all our requests. She took meticulous care of our whole family, from the elderly to the little ones, being both attentive and professional. Our overall stay far exceeded expectations; the environment, service, and amenities were all impeccable. This is definitely our top choice for a family vacation in Sanya, and we'll be sure to look for Yara again next time!

This was our third trip to Hainan, and our first time visiting Dadonghai. The sea view at Dadonghai is unbeatable; we could see it right from our room, which made us incredibly happy. We were also extremely satisfied with the JW Marriott Hotel Sanya Dadonghai Bay. Our family spent four days and three nights here. Before our arrival, guest relations specialist Jill contacted us to understand our needs and made excellent arrangements. She also gave us great suggestions for our outings and activities. On our second day, we needed to switch rooms to experience another type, and she thoughtfully arranged for us to have a similar room on the same floor in the same building. She even came to our room to help us move our luggage, which was very responsible of her. The hotel's executive lounge was also very convenient; we never ate out, always dining at the hotel. Both the afternoon tea and dinner were delicious! The hotel offers a wide range of children's activities, and our child participated in several crafts and water activities. The on-site indoor and outdoor playgrounds also kept our child entertained. If we have the chance next year, this will definitely be our top choice.

The hotel's service was excellent; our dedicated agent, Rose, was professional and patient. The hotel facilities are also well-maintained overall, the location is convenient, and the bedding is very comfortable and clean.

The hotel's facilities and services were all excellent value. Even before check-in, they called to confirm my itinerary and needs. They assigned Jill as our butler, and she was incredibly meticulous, helping us with everything and answering all our questions. Especially when my son accidentally fell and got injured outside, Jill immediately arranged for band-aids and iodine to be sent over. I'm truly grateful.

Chose this hotel as our last stop and it turned out to be a fantastic discovery! It's perfect for families with kids, and my little one absolutely loved their stay. A huge shout-out to ROSE, the Guest Relations Officer, for her incredibly positive and friendly service!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, nestled against a mountain and facing the sea. It's just a short walk to Dadonghai Beach, offering a peaceful retreat despite being close to the action. The lush greenery of the complex is beautiful, and the multiple swimming pools are perfect for photos. The rooms are spacious and tidy, with expansive ocean views. I want to give a special shout-out to Stella! She proactively communicated with us before our stay, patiently answered all our questions, and responded quickly to messages. She actively coordinated any requests we had. Stella meticulously explained the hotel facilities, breakfast times, and pool locations, and even kindly recommended nearby attractions and dining spots. Her service was gentle and professional, with an abundance of thoughtful details that made our entire trip so much more comfortable. The breakfast selection was rich and varied, the facilities were comprehensive, and the family-friendly amenities were excellent. Overall, our stay exceeded expectations. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we're in Sanya. Highly recommended!
