Having experienced the InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay, and considering our itinerary, I decided to try the InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay. The day before our check-in, Kaylee from guest relations proactively contacted me to confirm the details and made thoughtful arrangements for us. 👍 On the day of our check-in, it was pouring rain in Haitang Bay. We were stuck with our luggage in the duty-free shop, watching the rain show no signs of stopping. I contacted Kaylee to ask if the hotel could send someone to pick us up. Kaylee informed me that the hotel didn't have vehicles that could go to the duty-free shop. However, the hotel staff later sent umbrellas for us, helped us move our luggage to the hotel's side entrance, and then the hotel shuttle took us to the lobby. 👍 The hotel lobby is much larger than the InterContinental Sanya Dadonghai, and the overall scale feels comparable to the Westin Wanning/Lingshui. The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable. The fruit was delicious, and the room was equipped with Baishui Mountain mineral water, with Pure Enjoyment still water for refills. During our stay, whenever I contacted Kaylee, she responded immediately and acted quickly, even when she was off duty, which was impressive! So nice! 👍 Before coming, I learned that the hotel has a large fish tank with many fish, including sea turtles and manta rays. So, I took my child to the viewing tunnel on B2. My child was deeply fascinated by the fish, especially when they saw a giant grouper. My child blurted out, ”Look, fish 2.0!” I was puzzled, and my child explained it was like ”oil tanker 2.0,” with a bunch of smaller fish (like planes) following it. 🤭 We also saw a mermaid show. However, due to the distance of the performance area and limited visibility at the bottom of the tank, we could only see silhouettes. Fortunately, there were pictures of the mermaid show on the tunnel wall, which allowed me to explain it to my child in detail. The entire tunnel wall was covered with科普资料 (scientific information) about various fish, allowing for both viewing and learning. 👍 The tunnel also had multiple observation windows, so you could find your best viewing angle. 👍 The hotel boasts a vast lawn. Looking out, the skyline, the ocean, the greenery, and the lawn were truly refreshing. 👍 The waves in Haitang Bay are indeed strong and powerful, far exceeding those in Wanning and Lingshui. The beach quality is much better than Yalong Bay. We even encountered crabs during the day. 🤗 The breakfast restaurant was spacious, with ample seating. Even during peak hours, we didn't see guests waiting in line. The breakfast spread was rich, and they even offered specialty Xinglong coffee. The lobby staff were enthusiastic and all smiles. Seeing us with our luggage, they proactively helped us move it. 👍 Big kudos again to Kaylee from guest relations! 👍 And kudos to the hotel for its excellent service! 👍

We had a dedicated 24-hour butler, Zheng Delin, who was incredibly responsive to all our needs. For our anniversary, he even arranged a complimentary room setup, which was a lovely touch and added to the special occasion. The resort boasts a secluded private bay, with hardly any outside visitors. The sunsets over the ocean in the evening were romantic and therapeutic, and the happy hour at the beach bar created a fantastic atmosphere. Every room is equipped with Banyan Tree's signature aromatherapy toiletries, and upon check-in, we received a special welcome gift and fresh fruit. The floating afternoon tea experience was exceptional. The resort's buggies are available for pick-up and drop-off at any time, ensuring a smooth and uncrowded experience. It's truly a luxurious choice for couples on their honeymoon or anyone looking for a relaxing escape, far from the hustle and bustle of crowds.

I've been wanting to stay at the Grand Hyatt Sanya Haitang Bay for a long time, and I finally brought my family here for a vacation. The hotel's design is highly international, catering to both business and family leisure, and I believe it stands out among the many five-star hotels in Haitang Bay. Firstly, the resort grounds are incredibly vast, requiring shuttle buggies to get around. Secondly, the hotel's ambiance and landscape design showcase a global perspective and unique craftsmanship. Thirdly, it offers a comprehensive array of entertainment and recreational facilities, including three swimming pools, a dedicated kids' club, an outdoor climbing frame, a beach bar, an arcade, and more, ensuring endless fun for the whole family. Furthermore, the breakfast is absolutely top-notch, featuring a feast of both Eastern and Western delicacies – definitely worth experiencing. I also want to commend the meticulous, professional, and patient service from our client manager and personal butler, Rose. Her high level of professionalism was evident in everything from room changes and complimentary fruit to airport transfers. My sincere thanks to her! I'll definitely bring my family back or recommend it to my friends if I get the chance.

The front desk and housekeeping staff were warm, attentive, and responded quickly, handling everything efficiently. Built into the hillside, the hotel felt like a natural oxygen bar with its fresh air, far from the city's hustle and bustle, creating a wonderful vacation vibe. It's perfect for both couples and those seeking a peaceful retreat. The experience was flawless – I highly recommend it and will definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Sanya!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! We had booked a panoramic sea view room online, but due to a system error, our reservation couldn't be found at check-in, and the room type we booked was fully occupied. The front desk staff handled the situation brilliantly, reconfirming our reservation in less than ten minutes and even upgrading us for free to an even higher-tier panoramic sea view suite. As soon as we entered the room, they promptly brought up a bed rail and bottle sterilizer for our child. Kid's toiletries were replenished daily, which was super convenient. The room itself was spacious, and the views were simply breathtaking. The only minor drawback is that the decor feels a bit dated by today's standards. The hotel restaurant offers an amazing view overlooking the lawn and the ocean, making breakfast incredibly pleasant. The hotel activities were also quite engaging. The sea was so blue, and the waves were so white. We definitely hope to visit again!

When we reported a strange noise from the bed upon arrival, they quickly arranged a room change. The service was attentive and efficient. We chose a pool room, which was lovely; being able to step right out to swim gave us a real vacation vibe. The hotel's family-friendly amenities are excellent. Our child thoroughly enjoyed the daily kids' bubble party, and the complimentary sand toys made trips to the beach with our little one very convenient. The only minor downside was the crowded breakfast area, with queues forming during peak hours. The beautifully landscaped pool area and wide range of family activities make this a highly cost-effective hotel for families with kids in Haitang Bay. I definitely recommend it for those traveling with children.

I specifically chose to stay at the Yalong Bay Welcome Hotel for two nights just for the underwater restaurant, and the experience was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's overall design is modern and refined. The rooms are spacious with excellent natural light, and daily housekeeping is meticulous, ensuring a comfortable and reassuring stay. The most unforgettable part was the Aquamarine Underwater Restaurant. While dining, you're separated by a huge viewing tank, watching groupers and various tropical fish swim freely. I even saw a giant grouper I'd previously encountered up close swimming right by the window—it was both romantic and therapeutic. The hotel service was impeccable throughout; our butler, Gina, was thoughtful and attentive. Breakfast was rich and varied. A short walk takes you to Yalong Bay beach in minutes, and it's convenient to relax by the pool or explore the surrounding commercial areas. My two days of leisurely vacation were incredibly enjoyable; both the soft and hardware are flawless. It's a highly recommended hotel for a Sanya getaway!

Two days that far exceeded my expectations! Our butler, Coral, was so thoughtful. It must have been the off-season because we got an upgrade. She was always quick to respond to any questions, which was super convenient. The room was huge, with two beds facing the balcony, so you could lie in bed and watch the ocean and sunrise. One wall of the bathroom was glass, facing the sea, making it clean and bright. The restaurant was just downstairs, and the roasted chicken at the Thai restaurant was delicious. The room was also very close to the beach, perfect for water activities. In the evenings, you could watch movies on the lawn. There's also a seafood BBQ buffet right by the beach, and they start playing music every evening, creating a lively atmosphere. Highly recommended!

First, the pros: The hotel is very close to the sea; you can walk out from the ground floor and be on the beach in a few dozen meters. Since it's at the very end, the beach is quite clean. The rooms are also clean, and the housekeeping staff are all very friendly. There's a pharmacy and a small convenience store right in the hotel lobby, which is quite convenient for buying medicine and other necessities. The concierge service was also excellent, actively helping with luggage upon arrival and departure. There's even a ** (food delivery) locker at the lobby entrance, which makes ordering takeout very convenient. Now, the cons: The front desk service was terrible. The room they initially assigned us could only be used for showering while standing in the bathtub. Since one of my companions had difficulty with their leg, I asked for a different room. The front desk staff immediately told me the hotel was fully booked and there were no other rooms available. I had no choice but to contact Ctrip, and they quickly arranged a room change for us. When checking out, I requested a late check-out because my child needed an afternoon nap. Again, the front desk told me the hotel was fully booked and we could only stay until 12:30 PM. However, before calling, I had already checked the booking page, and our room type was still available for sale that day, so it wasn't fully booked. Oh well, we checked out on time. Breakfast: The variety was extremely limited, and most of the options seemed more suitable for Russians. I stayed for three days, and as a woman with a small appetite, I never felt full. In the evening, there's also a self-service BBQ on the ground floor for 98 yuan per person. I wouldn't recommend making a special trip to Bohou Village Night Market; it's just a short road, a few dozen meters long, entirely filled with BBQ stalls. If you plan to book this hotel, I suggest getting a full sea-view room directly. The full sea-view rooms seem to have been renovated, and the facilities look newer. Also, a word of advice: do not book through **. I saw others who booked through **, and when issues arose, the hotel and ** just passed the buck, leaving the customer to suffer. This trip was long with many uncertainties, and I deeply experienced Ctrip's problem-solving capabilities. They truly are the king of the tourism industry; kudos to Ctrip! 👍

My stay at Wanda Vista Sanya Haitang Bay was absolutely perfect! The hotel's tropical gardens are serene and elegant, offering direct oceanfront views in a peaceful and relaxing environment. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the beach, and very convenient for getting to the duty-free shop. The restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious dishes made with fresh ingredients. Ella was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and attentive, quickly resolving all my needs. Overall, the value for money is exceptional, and the vacation experience was outstanding. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Sanya!
