Crowne Plaza RESORT SANYA BAY by IHG

A very satisfying stay, truly pleasantly surprised! The hotel environment is excellent with a strong tropical garden vibe. It's just a few minutes' walk to Coconut Dream Corridor. The room was clean and bright, and the garden view from the balcony was fantastic. The staff (Meiyue) were responsive and thoughtful; they even helped me arrange a late check-out because I was taking a night train. The amenities are very complete, with a large swimming pool, a kids' playground, and a supermarket and fruit store downstairs. It's not far from the airport and public transportation is convenient. The breakfast selection is rich, and overall, it offers great value for money. This hotel is an excellent choice for a vacation!

Five-star review! Crowne Plaza Sanya Bay is excellent. The location is great, right on Sanya Bay. Meiyue provides good service, and you just need to cross the road to reach the beach. The rooms are spacious, and the cleaning staff (Auntie) keeps them spotless. The balcony is very comfortable to sit on. The hotel facilities are comprehensive; the pool is a big hit with the kids, and the staff are friendly. It's very convenient to stay here when traveling from Haikou to Sanya to visit Nanshan. I'll definitely come back here next time I'm in Sanya. Highly recommended!

Unexpectedly good! I had read reviews saying the room facilities were old, and I even brought my own disposable toiletries to use. But my actual stay was excellent. The room was very clean and tidy, and I slept soundly. The duvet was a bit thin, so I asked for an extra one. The young lady at the front desk was incredibly enthusiastic and even helped upgrade us to a sea-view room, which had a fantastic view. Opening the curtains revealed a direct view of the ocean. Breakfast was decent, pretty standard. The hotel's kids' activities need to be booked a day in advance, and my child had a great time, with crafts in the morning and water play in the evening. My child also enjoyed the pool every night. The kids' play area is small, but sufficient. Overall, this is a very high-value family-friendly hotel. We'll come again if we get the chance.

The service was excellent, and the room was better than I expected, not as dated as some online reviews suggested, probably because it was very clean. The public areas are spacious, and the views are beautiful. I stayed for three days and two nights and went swimming every day. I didn't get a chance to experience the hotel's family activities, but I imagine they're good too. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and helped with luggage and heavy items. Overall, the hotel offers great value for money and is very conveniently located near the city center, Coconut Dream Corridor, and the airport.

Service: The concierge helped with luggage, and the front desk arranged the room according to our needs. They were very responsible and actively assisted in resolving any issues we encountered. The room was spacious and had a beautiful view from the balcony. Hygiene: It was very clean, and they were flexible with tidying up according to the guests' situation, not just a rigid cleaning schedule. Facilities: This is the only point of complaint. They really need an upgrade. The bathroom had no shelves, the mirror was too old to look at, and the weatherstripping on the main door, bathroom door, and shower door was all aged, causing them to close with a loud bang.

This hotel is old and run-down, and as expected, it was full of a musty smell. We ended up switching hotels. The musty smell on my pajamas wouldn't go away. The value for money is indeed high, but sometimes the musty smell was quite unpleasant. We added a dehumidifier later, which helped a bit, but wow, it filled up with water overnight! You can tell this hotel was good many years ago. It's like a fading beauty; a renovation might bring it back to its former glory.

Came here with a friend, and it was definitely worth the trip. Both the rooms and the gardens are beautiful. The lobby's sculpture style is very unique. Every staff member we met was exceptionally kind, especially the cleaning lady. When we chatted with her in Mandarin with a Hainanese accent, she had such a shy and genuine demeanor. In the afternoon, there were bubble activities at the pool; if I were a kid, I'd be absolutely thrilled. There are lounge chairs and swings by the sea. Imagine bringing some beer and BBQ, listening to the waves, and sunbathing – now that's what I call a vacation! I could lie there all day. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful family vacation! We brought our parents and kids for a relaxing getaway. Since it was National Day, there were quite a few people, but the hotel is large. The high-floor sea view was absolutely stunning, and the room was spacious with a very big balcony. We could enjoy the sea view directly from the balcony. The facilities are a bit older but well-maintained, and the bedding was comfortable. The cleaning staff did a great job keeping everything spotless. The concierge was fantastic; when they found out I had young children, they went above and beyond, running up and down to help me with food delivery and packages. The service was truly exceptional.
